2 Chapter 1 - Reincarnation

Hi my name is John Doe, and I'm currently about to be reincarnated into my favorite anime, One Piece.

What brought me to this situation is something even I can't remember. I don't remember living, even though I'm certain that I have lived. I can't remember my parents or friends, all I remember are works of fiction I used to watch and read. And from all of those fictitious works, the one I enjoyed the most was One Piece.

This brings me to my reincarnation, I'm currently standing in front of a massive golden door.

On the door glowing shining letters we're inscribed.

[Welcome to the One Piece World]

[To proceed spin the wheel]

Looking around I managed to spot a desk sized silver wheel. On it where character names of various anime and mangas. Whoever none from the One Piece world.

Seeing as I had nothing else to do, I walked up to the wheel and with all my strength grabbed onto its rim and spun it in a clock wise direction.

The wheel spun for a little while before stopping on a character.

The name suddenly glowed and in an instant I was engulfed by its emanating light. The light was so bright I was forced to cover my eyes in fear of losing my sight.

Once the light dimmed I noticed a slight change in my body. I was relatively smaller and had what I assumed was the height of a child.

A mirror suddenly materialized in front of me.

Examining my figure, I had gold brown eyes, purple hair, chubby arms and legs. My assumption seemed to be right. I was somehow turned into a child. More precisely a year old version of Sinbad from Magi.

As those thoughts ran through my mind, the giant golden gate with [Welcome to the One Piece World] inscribed on it opened.

The other side of the gate was pitch black, making me hesitant to walk through it. But seeing the enticing words inscribed on it. I decided to bite the bullet and follow my guts, so it is with both confident and hesitant steps that I walked into the nothingness.

What followed was a butt clenching fall from what felt like 10'000 miles. I kept on falling till a bright blue Ocean welcomed my small body.

Almost on instinct I took a couple strokes with my chubby arms and legs and wretched myself out of the unnaturally calm ocean.

But I didn't get time to breathe as the moment I made it to the surface, a giant serpentine like creature came out of the water. Its figure so large it could easily tower over skyscrapers in my past life.

I held my breath in shock looking at the large sea king, its imposing stature and titanic presence felt suffocating compared to my small one. The giant beast locked eyes with me for a couple of seconds and seeing my terrified form seemed to lose interest and dove back into the sea.

There was nothing that expressed a, [Welcome to the One Piece World] more than a city sized serpent swimming by in the vast ocean.

Taking a couple of breaths to calm myself, I started looking around for any close land. To my surprise there was a island at only a couple meters from my location. It's welcoming land practically sang to me as I used the meager strength and stealth my small frame provided to swim myself to its sandy shores.

Once my feet were firmly grounded on solid ground, I knelt and started kissing the sand in joy of surviving this heart stopping ordeal.
