114 COMPASSION?

Tsunade opened the door, Scarlet greeted Tsunade "Aunt Tsunade". Tsunade nodded and asked her to get in. Scarlet comes in, Tsunade then says " Scarlet, I'm sorry for what happened to Naruto. I shouldn't have let them go to such a dangerous mission"

Scarlet replies "It's ok Aunt Tsunade. It is very difficult to change Naruto's mind once he has decided to do something. Besides it isn't like Naruto to give up just because the enemy is too strong, he would rather die fighting than give up a friend. And that's what attracts people to him."

Tsunade smiles as she remembers how Naruto saved her from Kabuto. Tsunade says "Yeah that's just the way he is".

Tsunade looks towards Scarlet and says "Well I need to inform you another thing. I have taken Sakura as my disciple so both of you must get along well in the future."

Scarlet thinks in her mind 'I know this was going to happen'.

Scarlet replies "Aunt Tsunade we were in the same team before so you don't need to worry".

Tsunade thinks inwardly 'Great! I asked two girls in a love triangle to get along well. But the situation does seem optimistic, Sakura does care about Sasuke but she does not seem as attached as before. Hope everything goes well '.

Tsunade looks towards Scarlet and says "Scarlet before we start your medical skills there is something else you need to develop. "

Scarlet looks at Tsunade with a puzzled look and asks "What is it?".

Tsunade replies "Compassion".

Scarlet shouts with disbelief "COMPASSION!"

Scarlet continues "Are you sure you are talking about our profession. We kill and assassinate many people in missions and you are now talking about compassion".

Tsunade replies "Even though it doesn't sound quite right for our profession, you have to learn to be more compassionate towards others. We should only be cruel to our enemies".

Tsunade sighs as she says "My grandpa wanted to make sure that all villages remain peaceful and gave away the tailed beasts to them but his wishes were not realized".

Scarlet replies to Tsunade "Aunt Tsunade it is very difficult for me to be compassionate because of what happened in the past. I need time to think about it."

Tsunade replies "Sure, I will make sure that you will not have missions for a while".

Scarlet goes towards Sakura's bed and says "Get well soon. See you later Sakura".

Sakura replies "Thank you"

Scarlet says "You are welcome. I will be leaving now. Bye".

Tsunade watches Scarlet walking past the door as she thinks 'I hope you can get over your past Scarlet.'

Sakura looks towards Tsunade and asks "Lord Hokage will she be alright?".

Tsunade looks at Sakura and says "She has a strong mind. But the darkness a jinjuriki faces in his life is not easy to deal with, all we can do is trust her".

Hearing Tsunade's words Sakura felt slightly worried about Scarlet.

Scarlet comes out of the hospital and goes deep into the forest towards a stream of water. She sat on a rock near the stream. She sinks into deep thought while thinking about her conversation.

' Compassion huh? Even when I had to work as an assassin in the past I still retained my character and the people I killed were mostly scums. But the pain caused by the villagers in childhood and that incident left a deep mark in my mind and heart. Now how can I suddenly get over it and be compassionate? Sorry, Aunt Tsunade maybe I can't be compassionate.'

Scarlet once again sinks into deep thought as she remembers the incident that occurred in her childhood.
