Hello, the author here! Sorry for taking so long to post a new chapter, even a short one like this. I have been super busy with college and work, but now I have some free time again to pursue writing. I hope you keep enjoying the story and correcting me on my grammar.

Hadrian had to restrain himself from killing the poor excuse of a human being called Gabe. He thought that the honor of getting rid of the guy should go to Sally or Percy.

So, one day when Sally was out working, Hadrian sneaked into the house, knocked out Gabe, and turned him into a small statue. He only left a note saying 'You welcome'.

When Sally came back home that day and saw the small statue of Gabe, she was terrified, thinking that the monsters had finally found about Percy. However, she managed to calm down when nothing else happened.

Hadrian passed his time like that. He had found Camp-Half blood, but couldn't see anything. He could feel the magic that composed the wards and knew that if he tried to enter without permission he would get incinerated. Sure, he could bring the wards down but there was no point to that.

But it didn't matter, the time had come. Hadrian headed for Jackson's house, knowing that it was the day Percy got home. He went inside, no one was home yet. Waiting for the owners to come, he got comfortable and made himself a sandwich.

Hadrian used a little bit of magic to get rid of the stench. Even after so much time had passed, Gabe's smell still permeated the place. It was truly disgusting, no wonder it could mask the scent of the son of Poseidon.

After some time, the door opened, and in came Percy Jackson. His face showed his surprise at not seeing his mom or Gabe before he took notice that Hadrian was sitting in his living room eating sandwiches.

"Well, Percy, won't you sit down?" Hadrian asked.

"Where is my mom?" Percy asked before sitting down. He couldn't care less about Gabe.

"Well, she is probably coming back from her work," Hadrian answered. "Gabe on the other hand is the lovely little statue over there."

At the look of sheer incredulity in Percy's face, Hadrian chuckled.

"I'll answer your questions when your mother gets home," Hadrian said. "For now, sandwich?"

It didn't take long before Sally Jackson got home. She was taken back by the completely strange man sitting in her living room eating sandwiches but decided to ignore that to fuss over her son.

"Oh, Percy." She hugged him. "I can't believe it. You've grown since Christmas."

"Hey, mom," Percy said, a little embarrassed seeing as there was another person in the room.

Hadrian decided he was going to end the poor boy's embarrassment.

"Hello, I'm Hadrian Black," he said, "I hope you liked my present? I must say I prefer him as a statue."

"So it was you!" Sally exclaimed. "I don't know why you did it, but thank you."

"You're welcome," Hadrian said.

With the pleasants out of the way, it was time for a Q&A.

"Go ahead, I know you must be dying to ask me," Hadrian said.

"What was that in the museum?" was Percy's first question.

"What about the museum?" Sally asked her son.

After explaining what happened, and watching Sally get more anxious, Hadrian answered.

"That, Percy, was Alecto," he said, "one of the Furies of Hades. You must have read about them in your Greek myths studies."

"That's not possible, those are just stories," Percy denied, even if a part of himself, a part he didn't know about was screaming in his head that it was true.

"It's true, Percy," Sally decided to speak, "I think it's time I tell you about dad."

Sally then explained about the supernatural side of the world, how she met his father, Poseidon. About how his father could not stay to take care of him, to watch him grow up for there was a law preventing them from interacting with the mortal world, and especially their children.

By the end of the explanation, Percy had to go through states of disbelief, incredulity, anger, and acceptance. Hadrian was somewhat impressed about how easily Percy took this in stride.

"So, any other questions?" asked Hadrian.

"Yes, I'm thankful for what you did to Gabe, but what are you?" asked Sally with open curiosity.

"Well, as I said earlier, I'm Hadrian Black," answered Hadrian, "I'm a Dead Apostle, think of me something like a vampire. But don't worry, I have zero interest in your son's blood. Or yours, for that matter."

Seeing Sally and Percy losing some blood - got it? - from their face on that revelation, Hadrian decided in the future to have fun telling people about his identity.

'After all, immortality was boring. Perhaps Zelretch would fetch me from this world in the future?'
