12 The Enlightened-Emperor of China

Holmes, Moriarty and Watson were standing within the Forbidden City.

For they have been invited to speak with the Enlightened-Emperor of China; Emperor Guangxu.

As they were walking towards the throne-room, Watson said;

" Is it really true Bell, did you save the Emperor's life? "

" To be fair, I only helped him stop the coup of the once Empress Dowager Cixi "

" But Sir, since Emperor Guangxu has been in power, China has seen a new kind of golden age " said Moriarty.

" Well, he is called the Enlightened-Emperor of China for a reason " said Holmes with a smile.

" The Emperor has modernised China, and made the country a modern constitutional empire, while still maintaining the traditional framework. Very similar to Nihon's Meiji Restoration "

" But… What happened to the former Empress? " asked Watson.

" I hear that she was sent on a vacation, but she never returned, " said Bell.

They had now reached the throne-room, and were shown in.

They walked in and saw Emperor Guangxu with one of his dear friends, the Nihon Emperor Hirohito.

" Mr Holmes! " exclaimed Emperor Guangxu with joy and delight.

" Your Grace " said Holmes, as he bowed.

" Please. There is no need for such formalities, we are all friends here, please, sit and let us celebrate "

A Chinese like festival was held, there were drinks, dancers and even dragons, throughout all China.

The five men walked throughout the festive land and people.

They then made their way to Nihon, where the festivities continued.

And if you are wondering how the two Emperors are such good friends, well, I will let Emperor Hirohito explain that himself;
