11 The Hound of Ulster

Lug stood before a waterfall, and Lug carved some runes on the waterfall, which made a portal appear, and out from the portal, stept out a man.

" Welcome my son. I hope you have been well, in fair Tír na nÓg " Said Lug.

The man who stood before Lug, was none other, than Cú Chulainn, and Cú Chulainn was also, a son of Lug.

" I have been well, Father, but I am curious to, as why you have called me " Said Cú Chulainn.

" Straight to business then. My son. There is someone I would like you to kill, and that person is also a Prince "

" Very well father. Just tell me the name of the unfortunate soul, that has caught your attention " Said Cú Chulainn.

" His name is Madoc Pendragon " Said Lug with a smile.

Madoc and Jacob were walking in a forest near Camelot. Talking about various things.

" Wait…. did King Arthur really cry " Said Jacob, while walking beside Madoc.

" Yes. Our father - Uther Pendragon - did not allow Arthur to come on a hunting trip when he was just 5 years old. Which made Arthur really mad, and in the end, he cried a lot " Said Madoc.

" Wow, I can't believe it " Said Jacob.

" Yep, but then again. Arthur sure has changed since we were children. He has become a great King " Said Madoc with a happy smile on his face.

Jacob smiled too, but also had a question for his Master.

" Master. I don't mean to be rude, but when will you get married? "

Madoc looked at Jacob with a surprised look on his face, and Said " Where did that come from? "

" I mean. You are of marrying age, and I just want to see you happy, is all " Said Jacob while looking down at the ground.

Madoc now smiled, and then put his right hand on Jacob's head, and then said

" worry not my dear squire. For I am happy "

Jacob was now smiling, but then Jacob felt a chill, down his spine, and then Jacob tackled Madoc to the ground saying " WATCH OUT MASTER "

From atop the tree, close to Madoc and Jacob, jumped down a man, with a spear aimed at Madoc.

" This sucks. It hurts more when you see it coming. I was trying to be generous by giving you a quick death. Man this is going to be a pain in the ass " Said the man.

Madoc and Jacob looked at the man standing before them.

" Jacob get behind me " Said Madoc, and then Madoc pulled out his dragonexcalibur.

" Who are you? " asked Madoc.

" I am the hound of ulster. My name is Cú Chulainn, and this spear of mine is the Gáe Bulg " Said Cú Chulainn.

" Why do you want to kill me? " asked Madoc.

" Because my father told me so "

" So you are just a obedient dog that does whatever he is told " Said Jacob from behind Madoc.

Cú Chulainn looked at Jacob with a pissed off expression on his face, and then said " Listen you little shit. I don't like killing children, but for you I will make an exception "

" Leave him out of this. Your opponent is me " Said Madoc, while taking his battle stand with his dragonexcalibur in hand.

" I see. You have my respect, oh Prince of Camelot, but let me just tell you, that you are going to die this day "

Cú Chulainn then charged at Madoc.

Cú Chulainn was so fast that he was able to get behind Madoc.

Cú Chulainn then kicked Jacob in the stomach, sending him further up the road.

" Damn you. I told you to leave him out of this " Said Madoc, bringing down the dragonexcalibur on Cú Chulainn.

Cú Chulainn blocked the dragonexcalibur with his Gáe Bulg, and then Said " Hmm. I must say that I am a little disappointed. I expected a lot from a Prince "

Cú Chulainn then kicked Madoc in the stomach sending him flying straight into a tree.

Jacob was now watching from the ground, still in a lot of pain.

" I have to help Master " Said Jacob.

Cú Chulainn now stood before Madoc, and then Said " This is where you die "

Madoc tried to stand up to counter, but before he could. Cú Chulainn drove his Gáe Bulg straight into Madoc's chest, piercing his heart.

Jacob's red eyes glowed brightly. Then Jacob screamed " MASTER!!!! "

Blood was now dripping down from Madoc's wound, and all Cú Chulainn did, was giggle, but then Madoc grab onto the Gáe Bulg with his left hand, and all Cú Chulainn had to say was " I just pierced your heart. How the hell are you still alive "

Madoc did not answer. All Madoc did was give Cú Chulainn a kick to the stomach. Sending Cú Chulainn backwards. Madoc then Charged at Cú Chulainn, and when Madoc got close enough. He dealt a mortal wound to Cú Chulainn with his dragonexcalibur.

Cú Chulainn took a couple of steps back, creating some distance between him and Madoc.

" You bastard. How the hell did you do that " Said Cú Chulainn while coughing out some blood.

Cú Chulainn was getting ready to attack again, but then all three of them heard a voice coming from the forest itself.

" That is enough my son. Retreat now "

Jacob immediately recognized the voice, and Said quietly to himself " Lug "

" I can still finish this, father " Said Cú Chulainn.

" No my son. I will not have you die this day "

Cú Chulainn spit out some blood on the ground, and then he ran into the forest. Disappearing.

Madoc fell to his knees.

Jacob immediately rushed over to his masters side, and then Jacob Said " Master are you alright? "

" Yeah. I am totally fine " Said Madoc.

Jacob looked at Madoc's chest, and saw that there was no wound there. Madoc then Said " I got really lucky. I thought for sure that I was going to die, but for now let us head back to Camelot "

Madoc now stood back up, and looked at Jacob, with a smile on his face.

Meanwhile, Jacob had a concerned look on his face.

Madoc put the dragonexcalibur back into it sheath, and then put his right hand on Jacob's head, and said " Do not worry. I am fine "

Jacob slowly started to smile.

Madoc then walked toward Camelot.

" It seems that father's blessing really worked " Said Jacob quietly to himself. Jacob then ran to his master's side.

Lug and Cú Chulainn, now both, stood before the waterfall again.

Lug reopened the portal back to Tír na nÓg, and said to his son " Hurry back before you die "

Cú Chulainn nodded, and then walked through the portal. The portal then closed.

Lug looked at his reflection in the waterfall, and then Said " Worry not my son. For you have given me an idea "

Lug then put back on his hood, and walked away from the waterfall.
