12 The Heroes of Greece

Lug, was now, once again in the cave, where the Morrigan dwelled.

Lug stood before the waters, and Said " I seek an audience with the Morrigan " and as always the Morrigan appeared. Hovering over the waters.

" What do you want Lug? " Said the Morrigan.

" I heard a rumor recently "

" And what rumor would that be? "

" I heard that you have the ability to bring heroes and legends, from the past and future to the present. Is that true? "

" And what if it is? "

" I want you to bring heroes and legends, to the present, to carry out my will "

" And why should we do that? "

" Because you like me " Said Lug with a smile.

The Morrigan started to descend back into her waters.

" Okay you win. How about this. For each request of mine you grant. I shall stay in your cave for 3 days. Think about it, 3 days without me causing trouble "

The Morrigan thought about it for a second, and then said " Very well. We accept your deal, but since when do you know any heroes and legends from the past and future "

" Oh let us just say, that I traded some of Failinis's wine for a book about heroes and legends from the past, present and future, and I read that book three times by now, and it is also worthy to note, that it was Dagda that gave me that book "

" Very well. Who do you wish to bring to the present? "

" Hold your horses. Before anything. I want you to make certain adjustments "

" What kind of adjustments? "

" Achilles. Without him. The greeks would not have been able to win the Trojan war, and Hercules. The demigod who went on 14 labors, but only completed 12 of those labors. Besides I do not expect you to question my action, Morrigan. I only expect you to fulfill them, and nothing more ".

The Morrigan then put her right hand before the waters under her. The waters started to bubble, and slowly came out two men. After a couple of seconds. The two men, now stood before Lug.

" Welcome Achilles and Hercules. I have a labor for you both " Said Lug.

Achilles looked at Hercules with a smile on his face, and Hercules looked at Achilles, without a smile on his face.

Madoc and Jacob were once again taking a walk in a forest near Camelot.

" NO WAY. I can't believe it. Is Merlin really half-human and half-incubus " Said Jacob.

" Yep. Merlin's father was a incubus. and his mother was a nun " Said Madoc.

" So he is kind of like me " said Jacob quietly to himself.

" But does Merlin have anything, that makes him superhuman " Said Jacob.

" Not that I know off. Honestly. You would not be able to tell the difference between Merlin and a regular person. Other than Merlin's handsome face, of course " Said Madoc.

" Or perhaps he's just not telling you guys everything " Said Jacob quietly to himself.

Madoc just looked at Jacob, but suddenly both of them felt the ground under them shake. It felt like an earthquake was taking place.

Madoc and Jacob looked ahead on the road in front of them, and saw two men heading straight towards them at full speed.

Madoc pulled out his dragonexcalibur, and Jacob pulled out his sword that Madoc gave him.

" Ready yourself my squire "

" Yes, my master "

After a few seconds, and after the dust had cleared, the two men now stood before Jacob and Madoc.

" So these two are the ones that master wants us to kill " Said Hercules.

" I know. They do not look like much of a challenge " Said Achilles.

" Who are you two? " Said Madoc.

" I am Achilles. Son of Thetis and Peleus and student of Chiron "

" And I am Hercules. Son of Zeus, and I am also a student of Chiron "

" Very well. I am…. but before Madoc could finish. Achilles Said " We already know who you are. You are Madoc Pendragon. Prince of Camelot, and the boy beside you is Jacob, your squire "

" Wow they know who I am. I feel kind of honored " Said Jacob.

" Now then. Let us fight " Said Hercules.

" Wait before that. Why do you wish to fight us? " Said Madoc.

" Because we have been ordered to by our master " Said Achilles.

" Who is your master? " asked Madoc.

" That is not something you need to know. Know only that we are here to kill you both " Said Hercules.

Madoc and Jacob could see that they had to fight, so they readied themselves.

" Hey Hercules. I will take the Prince. You take the squire " Said Achilles.

Hercules looked at Achilles, and then Said " Fine. I guess you have not fought as many monsters as I have, so I will let you have this one "

In a instant. Hercules stood in front of Jacob, and then, Hercules kicked Jacob in the stomach. sending Jacob flying for miles, hitting every tree and bush in the way. Hercules then ran after Jacob.

Madoc looked back in Jacob's direction, and yelled " JACOB!! "

" How dare you take your eyes off your opponent " Said Achilles.

Achilles then brought down his spear on Madoc.

Madoc was able to block it, with the dragonexcalibur.

" Please hang in there Jacob " Said Madoc to himself.

Jacob was on the ground in a lot of pain. Hercules slowly walked towards Jacob.

" Pathetic. When I was younger than you. I killed two snakes with my bare hands, but then again. I am part god, so you are kind of excused " Said Hercules.

Jacob coughed up some blood, and then slowly tried to get back up. Hercules now stood over Jacob, and Said " Worry not child, for I shall put you out of your misery "

Hercules brought down his massive right hand on Jacob. Jacob blocked Hercules right hand with both his, and the ground under Jacob's feet cracked.

" I see now. You are no ordinary child. Which means. That I don't have to hold back "

Hercules than lifted his right hand, and then kicked Jacob in the stomach, again, sending Jacob flying straight into a giant rock. Abon impact. The rock cracked.

Hercules slowly walked towards Jacob.

" Let me tell you something. After I kill you. I am slowly going to kill your master "

Jacob's red eyes started to glow.

" I am going to tear your master, limb from limb "

Jacob forced himself out from the giant rock, and then fell to the ground.

" And when your master begs for mercy. I am going to looked him straight in his eyes, and say. No " Said Hercules with a smile on his face.

Jacob slowly got back up from the ground. His red eyes glowing even brightly. Hercules, once again stood over Jacob, and like before, brought down his massive right hand, down towards Jacob.

Jacob docked under Hercules massive right hand, and made his own right hand into a fist.

Jacob then punched Hercules, straight in the stomach, with so much force, that the ground under both of them, cracked open, and then Hercules went flying.

Madoc and Achilles answered one another, blow for blow.

" I must say. That I am impressed. I did not expect you to be this good " but after Achilles had finished his sentence. Achilles noticed something flying straight towards him. Achilles docked out off the way, and then said (with a surprised look on his face) " Hercules!? ".

Madoc saw his opportunity, and charged straight at Achilles.

Achilles swung his spear at Madoc, but Madoc quickly docked under the spear, and ran his dragonexcalibur, Straight into Achilles chest. Striking Achilles heart.

" Quite a surprise. To think that a weapon could pierce anything, but my heel. You have my respect warrior. You and your squire " Said Achilles.

Madoc noticed that Achilles was slowly turning into dust, and after a few seconds. Achilles vanished.

Off in the distance. Hercules had also turned into dust.

Madoc stood back up, and put his dragonexcalibur back into its sheath.

Jacob came running back to where Madoc was.

" Jacob. What happened. How did Hercules get defeated? " Said Madoc.

Jacob looked at Madoc, and then Said " ….. A dragon "

" A dragon? " said Madoc with a confused look on his face.

" Yes. A dragon. Hercules punched me straight into a dragon's nest, and the dragon slapped him with its tail out of anger " Said Jacob with a nervous smile.

" Okay... but I am glad to see, that you are well. For now let us head back to Camelot, and report this to Arthur, and have Morgana take a look at you, just in case "

Madoc and Jacob then walked back toward Camelot.

Meanwhile.

Back at the Morrigan's cave. Lug had seen everything that had happened, to Achilles and Hercules. Through the waters, in the Morrigan's cave.

" Well that was surely a surprise, but it seems that I have to summon even more powerful, and skilled warriors, then Hercules and Achilles, but for now. I will let Jacob and Madoc lick their wounds, and as promised. I shall remain in your cave, for three days. Do keep me company " Said Lug while looking at the Morrigan.

The Morrigan said nothing, but instead went back into her waters, leaving Lug by himself in the cave.

Lug looked around the cave, and then went to a nearby rock, and then sat down.
