19 The Golden King
" I believe it is time for a another war. Bring me the Golden King, Tutankhamun " Said Lug.
" The boy-King, but he has no military experience to speak of " Said the Morrigan.
" Tutankhamun may be green when it comes to warfare, but that just means that he may have some fresh ideas, and if we are lucky. Tutankhamun may bring his curse with him. " Said Lug with a smile.
" Very Well " Said the Morrigan.
The Morrigan then put forth her right hand, over her waters. Which made the waters bubble and glow.
The army of Camelot was yet again ready for battle. In front of the King, and his army, was Tutankhamun and his army of Egypt.
" Do we have any idea of how this happened, this time around " Said Arthur on his horse.
" Nope. Yet again. It was as if the whole army appeared out from nowhere " Said Merlin also on a horse.
" Well let us see if negotiations can prevail this time " Said Arthur, and once again. Arthur, Merlin and Madoc rode forth into the middle of the battlefield. To meet with Tutankhamun.
" So Azrael. Care to explain " Said Jacob. Who yet again was on a donkey. Next to Mordred. Who also was on a donkey.
" The Leader of the army is Tutankhamun. Also known as the Boy-King or the Golden-King.
He became pharaoh of Egypt. When he was just nine years of age. He was also the last true pharaoh of Egypt. He died at the young age of just 19 years old. " Said Azrael.
" His rule only lasted a decade. How unfortunate and sad " Said Jacob.
" Indeed. He may be the boy-King, but be warned. He sure as hell has a lot of muscle behind him " Said Azrael.
Arthur, Madoc and Merlin now stood face to face with the Golden-King. Tutankhamun, but while Arthur, Madoc and Merlin were all on horseback.
Tutankhamun was on a golden chariot pulled by two horses.
" I am King Arthur of Camelot. This my is brother, Madoc, and this is Merlin. He has nothing noteworthy to his name "
Merlin just looked at Arthur. While Madoc giggled.
" I am Tutankhamun, and I am pharaoh of Egypt "
Arthur, Madoc and Merlin all looked at each other confused.
" Forgive me if I am wrong, but I thought that Lucius ruled over Egypt " Said Arthur.
" I know not of this Lucius you speak of, but I assure you. That I am Indeed the Pharaoh of Egypt "
" Very well. I will take your word for it, but I must know. Why have you come to Camelot with such a massive army " Said Arthur.
" I have come to expand the culture, and the people of Egypt. By that means I have come to conquer Camelot, and by doing so, become its new ruler "
" Surely there is a more peaceful way of expanding your culture and your people " Said Arthur.
" I am sure there is, but I am afraid that I can not afford to trust you. I could not even trust the priests of my time. Because they got hungry for power " Said Tutankhamun a little sad.
" Very well. I pray that we have a glorious battle this day " Said Arthur.
" Yes, and I shall pray to Amun that we have a fair and just battle this day " Said Tutankhamun.
With that. Each of them. Returned back to their armies.
" Do you think that Tutankhamun killed Lucius? " Said Merlin to Arthur.
" I have no idea, but we can't think about that. For now, we fight " Said Arthur.
Arthur yet again rode in front of his men, and Said
" Knights. When this is over. I promise you all. That Merlin will see to your every need and desire for a whole week "
All of the knights smiled. While Merlin had a look of horror on his face.
With that the two armies clashed on the battlefield.
This time. Each knight took on 15 enemies by themselves. Except for Lancelot and Galahad.
Lancelot took on 200 by himself this time, but Galahad for some reason rode passed each and every enemy. Straight towards Tutankhamun himself.
Tutankhamun and Galahad clashed, and in the end. They were both face to face on the battlefield with nothing, but their swords and their courage.
" I am Tutankhamun. Pharaoh of Egypt. Introduce yourself warrior "
" I am Sir Galahad. Son of Elaine of Corbonic, and Sir Lancelot du Lake and knight of Camelot "
" Very well, knight. May Amun grant us both a fair and honorebel battle this day " Said Tutankhamun.
With that. Tutankhamun and Galahad fought fiercely on the battlefield.
Tutankhamun and Galahad answered each other blow for blow.
Everyone who witnessed their battle. Could not help, but stare in awe.
" You are very skilled Sir Galahad " Said Tutankhamun.
" And so are you pharaoh Tutankhamun " Said Galahad.
" Indeed, but in my case. I have been blessed by Anhur himself, but I sense that your skill and power is not something that was given, but something you have earned "
" I am very flattered by your words. Golden King "
" Indeed, but unfortunately. You are all going to day this day "
Galahad than noticed that some of the knights started to attack each other.
" I had some of my warriors disguise themselves as knights. Even I don't remember how many "
" I see. So you planned on making confusion and mass-panic and that's how you will defeat us, but it seem that you have underestimated us greatly ".
" How so? "
Galahad looked at two knights, and so did Tutankhamun.
The two knights were back to back. One facing towards the enemy, and the other watching his back.
When the one facing the enemy, had killed an enemy. He switched places with the one watching his back, and so they continued.
" We knight's excel at adapting to our circumstances " Said Galahad with a smile.
" I see " Said Tutankhamun, and then charged at Galahad.
The whole battle was long and hard, but in the end. Galahad was able to land a decisive blow on Tutankhamun.
Tutankhamun was now on the ground bleeding out from his wounds.
" Tell me sir Galahad. Did you enjoy our battle? " Said Tutankhamun.
Galahad looked at Tutankhamun, and Said " Yes. Very much. Great pharaoh of Egypt "
Tutankhamun giggled, and then Said " That alone. Made all of this worth it "
Tutankhamun turned into dust, and so did his army with him.
Lancelot walked up to his son, and put his left hand on Galahad's right shoulder.
" You did what you had to do, my son " Said Lancelot.
" I know that, father " Said Galahad. Who then walked away.
