4 Chapter 4: Test Number 5

"Okay everyone, you can do whatever for these tests, just don't blow up the arena, and now begin! " As their teacher said to begin the class also began their tests.

First test- Magic control- Magic control lets the user measure their power when a certain number is attained, a bubble floating bubble will appear and tell them they passed, for those who failed to reach certain numbers, they will have to train again in their homes, because the school of Deseon kingdom is that they will accept transferees but in order for you to get officially signed up, you will need to pass the tests they will give, and when you pass the test you will officially be a student inside the school, but if you fail then they will send them back to their homes and train, but not all hope is lost, they can try again in a few months.

Students started their tests and used various methods, like using their mind to summon an object or a living creature, some used liquid to measure their strengths.

Brent whistled and said "Look at them go, they're really trying hard"

Alistor looked at Brent and said, "Don't you need to measure your magic too?"

Brent raised his arm that looks like he is guaranteed to get in and said, "This will be a cinch since I'm all powered up!"

Alistor tilts his head sideways and said: "Powered up?"

Brent replied, "I will explain my magic later, for now, let's pass the tests, show me what you're made of Al!"

Al smiled and said "Right"

Alistor and Brent closed their eyes and channeled their mana before they can cast spells, and they opened their eyes and they started using their powers, Brent had this glowy white orb levitating on the middle of his palms and Alistor opened up his palm and a black flame appeared.

Brent was impressed with what Alistor can do and said "Wow, you really do have black flame"

Alistor looked at his white orb and said "You are impressive yourself, that white orb seems to be pretty useful on the battlefield."

Alistor and Brent passed the first test and came with the second one, as they passed with flying colors and dominates the other tests, finally, the final test arrived, they will need to defeat a summoned monster, and they will have to make a team of three, depending on how they fast they defeat the monster, they will pass the test.

"The final Test huh," Brent said and while he looks at the others, some were talking some, some were resting until their turns.

"Yes, the final test, but teams of three? we only have two, who will be our last one?" Alistor wonders while his finger under his chin.

An unknown voice said to them "May I join your team?" while her hand on the air asking for them.

Alistor and Brent heard the unknown voice and they looked at her, it was a girl who wanted to join them for their team, while they are standing watching the big screen on top.

"The name is Rika Shwartz, the noble bloodline of the Shwartz clan, nice to meet you," said the unknown voice to Alistor and Brent.

"Oh, Nice to meet you too, the name is Alistor Frexia and this behind me is Brent Hathwood, the line of White Magicians." Alistor said as he introduced themselves to her.

"Yes, I heard that the Shwartz clan is good for their goods and products in the market, seems we have a rich girl in our team," Brent said while being impressed.

"Yes, Indeed, I also heard the both of you, Brent from the white magicians, and Alistor in the Fresia Family, it's good to hear some nobles with me" Rika said to them, as they chat more the Teacher announced the teams who will go first.

"Ok Everyone, we will now announce the teams who will go first" as the teacher said and everyone settled down and listened to the teams that are about to be announced "The first team are the Dragoons siblings, the second team is the Zepths, the Third is Team Fresia and the fourth is..." as the teacher was talking Alistor was a bit curious of who this first team and second team so he asked Brent and Rika.

"Say, who are they?" Alistor asked them.

"You mean the Dragoons sibling and the Zepths?" Brent replied to him and continued "Hmmm, to put it simply, The Dragoons siblings has the blood of a dragon, or so they say, they have a good amount of regeneration and can transform their skin into scales that's what I heard at least."

"And the Zepths are the Magus Magicians, They are known to have a big AOE (Area of Effect) casts, and they still in Number 1 place on the magic boards" continued by Rika and said, "The last tournament, they fried a team by a large thunder spell and won without any errors."

"Hmmm..." Alistor was more curious about their magic and spells on how they operate, he thought to himself "This will be good..."

"Everyone except the first team, go on to the spectating area." The teacher said to the students and Alistor's team sat down in the middle as the Dragoons sibling readies, and one sibling glare's at Alistor, and Alistor raised an eyebrow.

"Did he just glare at me? what's his problem?" Alistor thought to himself.

Test number 5, they will have to kill a monster as quickly as they can in order to be placed on the leader boards, the team with the quicker reflex and skill will pass the test and will be placed to their original classes later on.

"Dragoon siblings, Ready yourself." As the teacher said and the Dragoon siblings started to get ready, as their skins turned into scales and hands became sharp as claws.

"Let's go the same as usual," said Dragoon sibling number 1

"Yes Brother!" both of the other siblings replied.

"Ok, On your marks, get set, Attack!" said the teacher and they spawned a massive rock turtle on the arena.

"Brother it's a rock turtle, let's go after the body" said sibling number 2

"I'll take the head" said sibling number 3

"Don't go overboard, this is a rock turtle, it can't be damaged easily." said sibling number 3.

In the spectating area Alistor wondered who their name was and asked "So what are their names?" Alistor asked Brent and Rika.

"The older one is Utra, and the second one is Sirphoz, and the younger female is Angeax, they really have a good combo," said Brent while replying to Alistor.

"Ok, let's do the three fire combo" said Utra while running, and the siblings spread out and positioned themselves around the turtle and hold their position, as the older sibling rushed to attack the head, the turtle launched fireballs towards him and the older brother evades its attacks and then he went and tries to smash the head, but the turtle went inside it's shell to protect itself, and the older brother said "Now!" and the two other siblings jumps and breathed fire on its shell and made the shell hot, as the shell grew hotter the body went out due to the hot fire on it's back, the rocks on its shell melted and pierced through and the head went out as the older sibling clenched his fists and punched the head and the turtle went down.

Up above the spectating area, Alistor thought to himself "They're good"

"The Dragoon siblings defeated the rock turtle in one minute, the best record so far" said the teacher as she announces the time.

the students wowed them and while Brent said "Wow, a minute, that's the best record so far in this school year'

"It will be tough if it's our turn," Rika said nervously

"Yes, it will be indeed tough..." Alistor replied to them.
