EP 89 - A DEADLY BLOW (1).

"Be cautious."Avyanna warned. "This creature is unpredictable and we're on a downside since we are on the defence. Brace yourself for anything..." She said dexterity. "Things may go sidesways ".

Avyanna ventured in headfirst with Percival, Conrad and Kyra following closely behind.

Spiders crawled up the moist walls weaving their webs oblivious of the adventurers. As they made their way through the darkness the entire cave rumbled.

Percival touched the walls. "We'd better get out of here before this place collapses and drags us with it."

"That's the general idea." Kyra muttered.

"Ugh ...Something fell in my mouth."Conrad yelled.

Looking up , In front of them was a puddle of black sludge. It was bubbling as if being boiled as it moved very slowly.

"What is that?" Percival asked poking it with the tip of his sword.

"Don't touch it. It could be acid or flesh eating bacteria or poison..." Avyanna explained.

Kyra squatted and peered closer at the strange material. Sticking her finger in it , the black substance wrapped her finger as she brought it closer to her face to examine it and then licked it.

"Why did you do that?!!!" Avyanna said almost retching while Percival shook his head in disapprobation.

"I wanted to confirm . Its Mamono mana alright. And it's fresh"Kyra replied getting up. "That means The Ushi-Oni is not far away."

"How doesn't it affect you ?" Avyanna questioned as they stepped over the substance.

"As A Demon , I have a healthy amount of Mana stored In my body so its really insignificant." Kyra responded.

"And you got all of that from just a drop of blood?" Conrad rejoined .

"Well... That particular Mana wasn't ...exactly blood."

"What was it then?"

"It was the Ushi-Oni's ...Ejaculate."

"Oof."

"That's Rough."

"So , you're telling me that... A monster's semen fell into my mouth?" Conrad repeated.

"At least one girl likes you ...Even if its leftover ejaculate." Avyanna smiled.

"Shut...Up." Conrad said slowly as Percival stifled a laugh.

They proceeded deeper into the cave and eventually stumbled onto the Creature's nest. The Monster was a few feet away from where Levi was, hanging from a stalacite. It was gathering its energy before it final accosted Levi because once the monster had started ...

It wouldn't stop.

"You guys should stay here while I try helping Levi.." Avyanna slowly crept towards where Levi was. She closed her eyes and muttered a quick spell. Soon Avyanna was hovering in the air using her Katana to cut rapidly at the web. Unluckily, the stronger the Ushi-Oni's attraction to a man is , the tighter the web...

And Levi's own was pretty tight.

"Oh it's now you decided to show?" Levi asked inquiringly as he was almost cut loose from the horrendous monster's web to stand by Avyanna Who held out her Katana.

"I like to make an entrance."She answered back.

"I could have handled it myself." Levi said still aloof .

"So how come you're still tied up here?" Avyanna said sneakily . " stop squirming so much and let's get out of here."

As Avyanna was sawing away at the webbing , Some particles of stone broke off and made their way to the ground. Feeling it , the Ushi-Oni looked up and saw another female trying to take her mate and being naturally possessive creatures , he began climbing up towards them .

"Whatever you're doing down there you'd better hurry up ." Levi urged Avyanna as he looked at the monster that had now crawled up the walls. It's black eyes emboldened as Extra legs spurred out of the Ushi-Oni's body ending in double tipped edges.

Roll.

Sky and Su ling looked at each other and nodded pushing their effigies together.

"Combinative Attack : Unlimited ArrowWorks and Purgation Shield!" They said in unison.

Thousands of arrows flew through the air and landed around the Ushi-Oni. Percival using his LongSword Blade struck it heavily against the grounds , causing golden veins to further enwrap the creature in a preventive shield, immobile.

"Teamwork!!!" Sky and Su ling gave each other a high five.

'Its NOT THAT cool." Obi mused but leaned in to John. "Why didn't we think of that move?!"

Tossing around angrily, desperate to free , itself The Ushi-Oni began continually hitting itself against the walls. The entire cave reverberated as some stones crashed down to the floor.

"We need to get out of here." Conrad said as the floor shook again.

"I'm almost there." Avyanna called out.

At the exact second , Levi's bindings were free, the roof of the cave collapsed in on itself falling directly in front of Kyra. Dragging her away, Percival's arm got hit by a large rock as they were now completely blocked from the adventurers on the other side.

Percival with his other good arm , Conrad and Kyra tried with all their might to get through to the other side but it wouldn't bulge.

"Damn it. We're stuck in here." Avyanna banged against the rocks in frustration. "Maybe if we..."

'I don't want to be the bearer of bad news but we've got a bigger problem ..."Levi left his statement unfinished as Avyanna followed Levi's gaze.

Water was flowing in quickly from a hole that had been opened due to the monster's hard hits. The cave was filling up with water and quickly.

With the rising water level , the Arrows were dislodged and the Ushi-Oni was now free and hungered for vengeance.

"What the F...k is taking so long?!!!!!!" Levi yelled impatiently using his bare hands to hold apart the mouth of the abomination that wanted to bite his head off as both struggled into the cave that was fast filling up with water.

"What do you think I'm doing?!" Avyanna head bobbed to the surface and retorted erratically. "I wasn't the one that told you to follow me into a monster lair , did I?"

"Us arguing isn't going to get us out of here alive , so stop yapping and snapping." Levi replied. "Drowning is NOT the way I'm going to go."

Avyanna rolled her eyes. "I 'm pretty sure if you die, its gonna be between a woman's legs." She retorted sarcastically. Taking a deep breath , Avyanna started hammering at the rocks.

These two were now trapped in a cave that formed part of a cove . Not only Where they stuck in there with a monster that wanted to suck out their life force and then devour their bodies but the cave was filling up with water. Soon their oxygen would run out and they'd be dead.

Avyanna kept striking at the rocks as the water filled up the cave that was connected to an aquifer. The more she struck , the more water gushed out of the porous holes and cracks on the wall of the cave.

"You're just making things worse!" Levi hollered as he hurled the hideous monster to the opposite direction.

Stalactites broke off from the roof because of the impact and fell ontop of the Ushi-Oni. It screeched wildly as it became temporarily occupied with the debris that had it pinned to the floor.

"Oh well , I don't see you doing anything better except maybe almost trying to get us killed by a lustful she- demon!" Avyanna made a sharp comeback. "This is all your fault, trying to save me ."

"Why wouldn't I? I could never leave you Avyanna to die and you've shown that you've just shown you feel the same way." Levi said as water dripped from his soaked hair.

Avyanna knew what he said was true . But she wasn't ready to risk it...

And lose everything.

"That doesn't matter now , since we're both gonna die." She sighed.

. The water poured in waves almost reaching neck level. She almost gave up trying and took a deep breath as the water surged higher.

"I don't think so." Levi grinned as he tightened his fist under water.

Before Avyanna could ask him what crazy plans he had up his sleeve , Levi dove under water and swam to the mouth of the cave that was blocked off with rocks. He focused all his energy into his fist and packed a punch so powerful that once it made contact with the walls, it shook badly and the rocks broke off.

The cave rumbled as the sea of water that accummulated gushed out through the opening it had made.

Avyanna coughed and splurted out liquid as she tried to regain her breath.

Levi simply swished his wet white hair before giving her a hand.He was so soaked but the water seemed to have no effect on him. He was a god after all.

"Told you I was gonna get us outta there "

Avyanna scoffed.

She slapped his hand away and stood up slowly while balancing herself slowly on one knee and then on the other.

Levi just shrugged. " I just wanna to help"

"Thanks but no thanks." Avyanna said . A sharp wail pierced through the air.

It was the Ushi Oni.

The water must have washed away all the load and freed the monster.

Avyanna rose up dramatically as she kept her Katana and A Magic ball off pure energy appeared in her hands.

Time to put this bitch down.
