EP 67- FLIRTING LESSONS.

The members of the Adventurers Society rounded up their adventures for the day and were headed home. John was getting ready to leave when Obi held him back.

"How do girls easily fall for you?" Obi asked

"Its all about the looks and charms , my man." He grinned . " But that's so unlike you to ask me that Obi. What's up?"

Obi hunched his shoulders and shrugged. "It's nothing much really. Its just that there's this girl that moved in next door, Blair Willows and I just wanted to find a way to impress her .Nothing much"

Su ling and Eva were eavesdropping on Obi and John conversation.

"Ohhhhhhhh!!! Obi's got himself a girlfriend!" Su ling gushed.

"Wow! I'm impressed." Eva smiled.

"Then you've come to the right place. Obi , you have to listen like your life depends on it." John tapped him on his back.

Eva patted Obi's back. "Do you really want to walk down this road you can't come back from? To take a flirting lesson from him?" She pointed at John who was scrolling through his phone. "Just be yourself. That's what most girls want."

Obi nodded . "Sorry but Blaire's too hot to afford to mess this up. " He ran towards John."I'm ready for the free lessons"

"Our sweet little boy is gone." Su ling sighed and Eva shook her head.

John cleared his throat and whispered to Obi." Lets take this conversation elsewhere."

Waving their friends goodbye , they hopped in his car and John resumed "If just the idea with girls get your palms all sweaty ,Obi ...worry no more. Say goodbye to all your stuttering over words cause your saviour is here." He grinned. "First , be charming. Not charming in a creepy way but just average. Compliment her , Ask thoughtful questions and show off a lot. Offer her a ride and walk her some places. Take her out and don't forget your pick up lines ...Are you getting this?"

Obi nodded. "Charming...Questions...Ride...Places...Got it!"

Soon John dropped Obi off at his house and sped away. At that same moment Blaire was taking out some empty boxes and gnomes and placing them in the lawn.

"Time to put your training to work." Obi muttered and mustered courage to deal over to her.

"Hey Blaire!" He waved at her and she smiled. "Hello Tobi , nice to see you."

"Nice to see me too. Um...I mean see you." Obi stuttered and Blaire stifled a laugh.

"Be charming." His subconscious reminded.

He reached for the boxes she clutched against herself. "Let me help you with that."

"There's no need really...

"I insist." Obi repeated.

"Thanks." Blaire handed it over to him and he carried the boxes. As he was about to move , little did Obi know that his Shoelaces had loosened and he tripped over them.

Blaire shook her head and helped him up. Now there was awkward silence between the two. She was looking down at him and made Obi overly conscious.

"Wait... Did you just take a pee ?"

Obi was caught off guard. He looked down and saw that all this while his fly was down and fully exposed.

He turned away in embarrassment as he zipped up his trousers. But the zipper wasn't going up. It was hooked!!!!

What was happening to him!!!!

He turned to face Blaire.

"Give me a second."

Blaire's shook her head.

After successfully closing it up , Obi continued .

Next on Compliments.

"I like your shoes and you're hair looks pretty that way too ." Obi said suddenly. "They are very shiny."

"Thanks."

"You are beautiful for being so tall." He added.

Blair frowned. "So you mean I'm inappropriately tall , right?!!!"

"No . I didn't mean it like that. " Obi defended himself. " I just meant that you're taller than most girls ...That came out wrong."He sighed.

"So you judge girls by their stereotypical appearance and height?!" She fired at him .

This was going very badly!!!!!

"I'm ..."

Blaire was walking back to her house when Obi called out to her.

"What!" She asked.

Show off.

He placed his hands on his hips and smiled charmingly. "I was hoping we could go on a ride on my yacht this weekend ..."

She slammed the door in his face.

Obi entered his room dejectedly and flopped on the bed.

What the hell was wrong with him!!!!!

He had seriously messed up big time.

That was the last time he was ever going to take dating advice from John!

Su ling's phone rang as she bustled around in the restaurant . She excused herself and answered the call.

"Hey Obi what's up?"

Obi groaned in the receiver and Su ling sighed. "What's wrong?"

"I totally messed up." He groaned again.

"What happened? Lay it on me?"

"Promise you won't laugh." He said.

"Alright I promise. " She reassured.

"So I walked up to Blaire and tried to follow John's advice ..." Obi began relating.

"Are you for real!" Su ling laughed.

"You said you wouldn't laugh." Obi said sternly over the phone.

Su ling looked around and cupped the phone closer and whispered conspiratorially. "So tell me how open was it?"

"You aren't helping right now."

"Ohhh ...So that open." She jested. "Was it erect?"

"Su ling!!!!!!" Obi yelled in mock horror and she chuckled.

"Any way I seriously messed up. I wouldn't blame her if she moved away due to fear from some indecent exposing creep."Obi sighed.

"Why did you even go with John's advice in the first place! You can't flirt using his expensive lifestyle ." Su ling queried.

"No girl will ever want to date a guy that doesn't have flashy cars and big yachts." Obi retorted.

"You're wrong. Every girl wants to date a guy who truly loves her and with a good heart . And trust me yours is the best!" Su ling encouraged. "Forget about all those expensive stuff , okay?"

"Alright." Obi grinned.

"I still can't believe you wanted to ask her out with your zipper open." Su ling continued. "I hope you didn't have an erecti...

Obi ended the call and smiled.

That was classic Su ling.
