Unexpected

"Hey, dragon." - shouted Death.

The dragon turned around and, with its tail, cut Deaths body in half

[He died.... i dont know what i was expecting, im just too stupid. I need to get out of here.] - Kirin started thinking rapidly

"That wasnt nice." - Both Kirin and the Dragon froze in shock.

"Its been a long time since i last died, it feels..... nostalgic." - said Death.

[Impossible. What does he mean by that? I saw him die. His body was cut in half. How is he standing as if nothing happened?!?! What is going on?!?!] - Kirin was completely shocked.

"Hey, i wont forgive you if you try to attack me again." - said Death. - "I can feel you are old. You must know human language."

"I do not speak to your kind, human" - the Dragons voice was profound. Deep as the seas themselves. It would instigate terror to anyone hearing it.

"Well then, you are useless." - said Death, with a disappointed expression.

The dragon was clearly pissed after hearing such a thing, and released all of its presence.

Kirin, who was still looking, fell to the floor. Such presence was enough to kill most people, but her body had been trained, since she came from a family of assassins. She remained conscious.

"Die, human" - said the Dragon, just as it released an attack that could easily destroy a big city.

"This is unexpected, i was expecting dragons to be strong..." - said Death as he raised one of is fingers.

The dragons magic attack completely dissipated. It even looked like Death had absorbed it all.

The dragon was shocked.

"Sit" - said Death, glaring, who by now was pissed at the dragon.

The dragon fell from the sky and sat on the floor immediatly, against its own will. His body wasnt listening to him. It was listening to Death.

"Stop releasing your presence, you are hurting that girl over there." - said Death, pointing at Kirin, who was in the floor, pretty far away.

[This level of presence.... this must be a grade SS dragon. One of the eight in the entire world.... how is this guy bossing it around as if it were a dog?!?!] - Kirin was lost. She thought she had gone crazy. But she knew she hadnt.

"All i want is to ask you a question, Dragon." - said Death

"It would be stupid of me to disrespect you again, since im sure that would mean my death... my name is Kwarjjal" - said the Dragon.

"Kwarjjal, how old are you?" - asked Death, with a hopeful expression.

[I wish to know if he had ever met "that girl" before...] - he thought

"I am one of the oldest dragons...I am 50 thousand years old." - replied Kwarjjal, some pride could be felt in its voice.

"I see..." - Death said with a sorrowful expression on his face. - "Do you know of anyone older than several millenia?" - he asked.

"That is impossible..... Wait, actually, i think i do. The great dragon ancestor. He is said to be as old as earth itself. But he is no more than a legend even to us Dragons." - he replied.

"Good, you are going to help me find him" - Death said.

"It seems i have no alternative."- said Kwarjjal.

By now, Kirin had recovered, and could not believe what was happening before her very eyes.

A dragon, willing to help a human out of fear for its life. She had seen it all.

"You should take a human form, with your power you must be able to." - proposed Death.

Kwarjjal swallowed its pride and did as Death requested.

[Well this is.... unexpected] - thought Kirin when she saw Kwarjjal`s human form.
