95 Chapter 95: Eri's Revenge (II) (Edited)

After recovering from some of her mental fatigue that 'rewind' doesn't help with, she took a deep breath before walking towards the house's direction.

However, before she could enter it, three people suddenly appeared and attacked out of nowhere.

One of them was a tall and lean young man with light, almond-shaped eyes, their irises visibly small, with prominent dark circles around them. His hair was chin-length and bright golden-blond, worn parted to his left so that it obscures his right eye. He had thin eyebrows that pointed upwards, and his eyes were notably wide, giving him a permanently crazed look. He wore a dark green dress shirt with a pink tie, dark pants, and a beak-shaped plague mask. He also held a katana over his shoulder while slouching a little, his left hands in his pocket with a very relaxed posture.

The second one was a slim man with circular eyes, dark eye bags. His most distinct feature was a ragged burlap sack mask covering his entire head held by a rope knot located around his neck. The mask has two openings from where his eyes are visible and a stitched smile. He also wore a purple dress shirt and grey pants.

The last one had the most ordinary appearance. He was a tall, bald, and muscular man with shadowed eyes and no hair on his face or head.

He wore a dark dress shirt, the top few buttons left undone, and ordinary pants, along with a pair of black dress shoes. Unlike the signature beak-like mask that Eri had seen on almost every member just before, he had a simple medical mask.

"Who are you? And how did you manage to defeat all of our underlings within ten minutes?"

Eri didn't reply and looked at the three of them with a different gaze. They were similar to the gigantic man she made disappear a while ago and looked much stronger than the cannon fodders that she just fought against.

Eri didn't want to reply to the trio for fear of giving them more information than necessary. Furthermore, she had seen those three before when she was younger.

"'Larceny' Setsuno. 'Crystallize' Hojo. 'Food' Tabe." Eri quietly said as she pointed towards the three, respectively.

"Oh? It seems that even a little girl knows about us. Should we be proud?" Setsuno asked Hojo jokingly as he waved his katana around. Hojo didn't reply as he just frowned a little. Or at least Shido thought so, seeing that he did not have any eyebrows for him to know clearly.

"Well, whatever. Since you came to our base and beat our underlings senseless, I must repay the favor to you!" Setsuno madly yelled as he dashed forward towards Eri, aiming it at her head.

Eri looked a little frightened but quickly shook her head off those thoughts and dodged to one side. She raised her hand and tried to touch Setsuno's body, but several crystals suddenly flew in the direction of her eyes. She retracted her hand and chose to block the crystals instead. Although she could have just rewind herself if her eyes were damaged, she didn't want to because she didn't want to feel the pain.

Crystals often form when liquids cool and start to harden, and Hajo's quirk follows this concept. His skin creates some sort of liquid that instantly hardens into crystals, and the moment Eri touched them, they reverted back to their liquid form and splattered on the ground, where they set again, returning back to their crystal form.

[A/N: I'm creating my own reason for how Hajo forms crystals from his body. It might or might not be true, so don't take my word for it.]

"I knew it." Hajo said as he looked at Eri with his shadowed eyes, "You're the child that young boss had been looking for for the past five years."

Setsuno was about to pounce on her again when he heard what Hajo said.

Turning to face him with a disbelieving expression, he yelled, "Really?"

Turning back to face Eri with an excited look, he said, "Looks like we're going to get heavily rewarded now!"

Eri neither agreed nor disagreed with that statement and opted to keep her silence.

"You're not replying to me?" Setsuno was a little irritated at the attitude that Eri had displayed and snapped, "Well, I don't care if you're going to be missing a limb or two then! It's not as though young boss wouldn't be able to reassemble you back to normal!"

As soon as he said that, he punched forward towards Eri. Eri slightly shivered as she heard the words 'reassemble you', but quickly recovered and focused on the man in front of her. At the same time, Hojo joined Setsuno as well and aimed towards Eri.

Eri inhaled deeply, and her eyes focused on the duo. She knew that she couldn't match Hojo based on brute strength alone, but Setsuno was an easy target.

Tabe didn't say anything until now and had made no indication that he would move anytime soon. Hence, Eri didn't pay too much attention to him.

Setsuno reached Eri first and swung his sword vertically downwards. It was a simple swing, one without any technique whatsoever. Eri sidestepped the swing effortlessly to the right and aimed a kick at her attacker's elbow using her left leg.

Setsuno clearly didn't expect that Eri would be able to dodge his sword. His eyes widened as he felt the impact on his elbow. Fortunately for him, his elbows didn't break, and only a small bruise appeared.

"Hm?" Eri raised her eyebrows as she felt that her kick had missed the optimal place for the most tremendous damage but didn't mind it. Taking advantage of the split-second pause of pain that Setsuno felt, her right leg moved and aimed it at his head this time.

However, Hajo managed to arrive in time and used his crystallized hand to block Eri's kick from reaching Setsuno's head. Eri's leg reached the crystallized hand, and she immediately backed off while hopping on one leg.

"Ouch..." Eri painfully muttered as she rubbed her injured leg. Her leg wasn't as strong as the sharp crystals, and she received a few cuts from it.

However, that didn't matter too much to Eri as she just rewinds herself back to her optimal state.

Hajo widened his eyes as he watched Eri standing there as though nothing had happened to her. It might not look like it, but Hajo was pretty confident about his defense, even more so than the gigantic man before.

"You're a pretty strong girl, aren't you?" Setsuno snarled as he rubbed his bruise. He didn't care much about it and continued pouncing on Eri.

Eri didn't want to fight against these people any further and decided to end it. However, as she was focused on Setsuno pouncing on her, she had momentarily forgotten about the third member.

GULP!

"ARGH!" Eri screamed in pain as she found out that her right arm had disappeared.

The last man, Tabe, had sneaked beside her when she was fighting against the two people and bit off her entire arm.

Eri continued screaming as her arm flew out from Tabe's open mouth and reattached it to herself.

"!!" All three of them were very shocked now and decided to use everything they can to stop this monster in front of them.

Eri narrowed her eyes as she dashed towards Setsuno first. In her dojo and Izuku's training, Shido had created a technique by himself after mixing and matching many different martial arts he had learned, using Taekwondo as the base like the rest of his martial arts.

The technique allows the user to appear anywhere near their opponents instantaneously. However, it takes a tremendous toll on the user's legs when utilizing this technique.

Shido, being a spirit, had an inherently more powerful physique than normal humans. Thus the technique was suitable for him.

On the other hand, Eri was just an average human, and she could only use this technique up to three times before her legs give in. However, with her quirk, this weakness could easily be negated.

Suddenly appearing behind Setsuno before anyone could react, she touched his back for a second before disappearing and reappearing to the left of Hajo and repeated her actions.

Both of them lost their quirks as they quickly fainted from the blow dealt by her kicks.

The last man standing saw that both of his companions had lost their quirks, but Tabe didn't falter or retreat. Instead, he continued dashing forward, his mouth opening and closing like he was munching on something.

Eri disappeared, and Tabe immediately turned his head backward and munched on the air. However, his prediction was wrong as Eri appeared in front of him instead and kneed his privates.

"ACK!" Tabe's legs crumbled inwards as he grasped his balls in pain before Eri knocked him unconscious and removed his quirk.

"Phew..." Eri sighed in relief as the three of them collapsed onto the floor, not moving an inch.

She watched as all the bodies slowly get dragged into the shadows and sighed.

Before she could enter the house, another two people came out this time.

"Sigh, I feel like the weakest underlings are going to come out in twos or threes before Chisaki is going to come himself." Eri murmured as she took a good look at the two of them.

The first man to come out was a huge, muscular man with long, light brown hair. His face is hidden beneath the plague mask, donning a tattered t-shirt and dark pants covered by a soft blue tunic and decorated with two belts. He also had gloves covering his hands and wrists with several leather straps and his knuckles with metal.

He didn't wait for Eri to say anything before shooting out a punch towards Eri. Eri couldn't react and found herself flying across the courtyard and smashing against the stone wall.

She spat out some blood, which stained her current attire, and she could feel that several of her bones were broken.

"Argh..." She groaned in pain as she hurriedly used her quirk on herself before rolling to the side.

Just in time as well, because the muscular man had arrived and smashed his fist at where Eri originally was, creating numerous cracks on the floor.

Eri stood up as she panted for breath. She was thankful that she had managed to dodge in time as that punch would have killed her if she had not rolled to the side.

"It's not my style to attack little girls, but orders are orders." He stated as he waited for Eri to recover a little.

"Kendo Rappa..."

"Oh, I see you remember me."

"Yes. You were the most honorable person within the Eight Bullets who 'cared' for me when Chisaki experimented on me." Eri stated as she gazed at him, "Please leave right now. I don't want to kill you."

"I'm honored that you remembered me. I might not like what the boss was doing to you, but I swore loyalty to him. So I'm not going to betray him." Kendo shook his head as he stood in his stance, "So be prepared. I'm attacking now."

As soon as he warned Eri, he darted towards Eri and punched her again. However, Eri had already predicted that he would do that and sidestepped towards the left to dodge the punch.

"Good, good. You're very strong now. I still remember you crying in your room whenever the experiments finished." Kendo's eyes closed a little as he reminisced before opening them again.

His eyes were now filled with a determined light, "But I'm going all out now. So you best try your hardest, or you will die."

"No need." Eri declared.

Kendo didn't stop his punches as he aimed them at Eri over and over again. However, Eri had a much smaller build, making her more agile and dexterous than Kendo.

Just as Kendo aimed a punch at his right, Eri suddenly disappeared and appeared to his left and aimed a kick at his head. Kendo's quirk only gave him the ability to have a stronger and faster barrage of punches by allowing him to rotate his shoulders at extreme speeds. His head wasn't protected by any means, and even Eri could knock him unconscious if she managed to hit the correct spot.

Just as her kick was about to land, a barrier appeared between them as her kick landed on it.

The barrier rippled like water upon contact, but her kick did nothing else otherwise.
