Status window!

'These coins… You don't even know how hard it was to make them.' I thought while one coin floated on top of my right hand innocently. The making of this was really exhausting. To make the coin float I had to code. I was just a normal high school student, I wasn't taught coding! Coding is ridiculously hard for beginners! It was lucky that the 'system help' skill taught me coding, it even had a couple useful videos teaching me, it was like YouT*be. But still, I had to code these coins to float, and it was hella' hard! And to make the coins properties like invisibility, I would probably have to do some more coding. With a heavy heart I began to work on it.

Because the tool did not have a 'Invisible' or 'Untouchable' properties saved on it, I had to make them by code. Luckily it didn't take as long as I thought, since the coding I used to make these properties basically only said: "Let light pass thru you!!" and "Let all matter pass thru you!". That was it. Oh right, the system did have a similar property saved on it, similar to the energy that this place was full of.

So I made a test coin with all the necessary properties and it really worked! It really was invisible and untouchable and even emitted that weird energy. I was not completely satisfied with it so I did some fine adjustments on it. I changed it so that the weird energy thing would emit from the person in possession of these coins, not from the coins themself. With a couple more little adjustments I was done. To the next thing needed for magic power to be real. A money bank.

It was a good thing that the system at least the aulready had its own bank like system, where any coins created thru SCM tool would be saved in it and it could give these coins out indefinitely to the customers I have specified, in other words, the players. I could also adjust the number of coins a person could get, but if I were to do this with the bank system I would have to manually set the limits for every player. That is why I will stick with the status window system and set the limits in there. I also made it so that everyone would get these coins a certain amount in a minute, specified in the to be status window system.

Next I made it so that one would expend these coins if were to chant a certain chant, namely the magic chant that I had already made for the fire magic. I had thought about it and it was certainly a good idea to make the chants cringey, but I had trouble getting the feeling of cringe so it would take me quite the while to finish this plan, so I decided to postpone the new names for later when I had thought about them some more.

I could not finish the magic power part, until I made the status window. So I decided to make it next. But first, even though I didn't need to sleep, because of this weird power, I was still exhausted mentally, after all I had been working day and night for the last few days. I, with heavy steps, made my way to the bed. Even though the smell of sweat was still clinging on me, it didn't bother me as I fell asleep the moment my body hit the bed. The bed had a nice aroma to it. It was like the smell of flowers.

I don't know how many hours I slept, but I had a very good night sleep. I rolled of the bed and hit my head on the white floor.

"Ah!" I made a small cry of agony, the best one I could make and stood up, stretched slightly and began working again.

The first thing I did was take out the 'home window maker' tool with it came great agony. After the headache subsided, I opened it's specialty, the blank screen. On the right side of the blank screen was a little toolbar with not too many and not too small amount of small tool icons. I selected the first tool on the toolbar, the 'shape' creator. I used it to make squares all over the blank screen. One square for the name of the player, a second square for the class of the player so I basically did a square for levels, stats, skills, special effects and for the affiliations.

I put away the first tool satisfied with how the start of the status window looked. I reached out for the second tool to make texts on these squares. After finishing I put away the tools and looked at what I had achieved. It basically looked like this:

[Player: ??? Level: ???

Class: ???

Stats:

Str: ???

Agi: ???

Vit: ???

Int: ???

Dex: ???

Luk: ???

Mag: ???

Magic recovery: ???

Skills: ???

Special effects: ???

Affiliation: ???]

I got inspiration on how to make this screen look from a certain Steve. I was quite proud of how it looked like. And to make it work didn't take as much time as I thought. You see, on the toolbar was a tool where I had to code these things for them to work. Coding session no. 2! After awhile of coding I was done. I made it so that if you shout or think "Status window!" then it will appear and only the one who summoned it will be able to see it. And of course everyone had their own windows assigned to them. And the first time a person summons the status window they will input the name they want and the system will then plaster that name on the 'Player' spot.

Next was the level. I chose to not make a level cap, but I had a limited amount of time so for the early stages of the game the level cap shall be 50. I made it so that with every level up you would get 10 stat points. And of course with every level up you would need to make 20% more experience every time. We'll deal with experience once we move onto the next step on the to do list.

Stats were especially easy to do up to the Luk stat, because there was already a system to measure a players basic stats. I just had to link them together, Str to Str and Luk to Luk. It was kinda' like a connect the dots game. For the other stats, it actually wasn't that hard to make them. I just made it so that the bank would not give the player anymore magic coins than the status window allowed. The same thing applied to the Magic Recovery stat where the bank would give the player the specified amount of magic coins a minute.

The skill part of the status window would have to wait. I actually think that it will be easy making the skills show up in the status window. But what will not be easy is making the skills themself. That will take ages! I would not have enough time to do every skill myself. I will have to think up a solution for this. I moved on with such thoughts.

Now that I had done the magic power system, I quickly moved to the next task, monsters. I had no time to waste so I quickly took out the sculpting tool and began working.

Hi! I would like to know you're thoughts regarding the story so far. If you have a way I can improve my writing please tell me. The start is going to be a little bit slow, but please stick with it at least until we get to the game launch chapter. That's all, bye!
