Purple Scorpion's Boss.

*Step* *Step* *Step*

<Skill: Electricity has levelled up!>

The sound of footsteps continued to resound throughout the hallway as four bodies could be seen motionless on the ground behind Asper.

*Creak*

The door creak opened, displaying an empty room.

*Shut*

*Step* *Step* *Steep*

*Creak*

Empty once again.

*Shut*

*Step* *Step* *Step* *Step*

One by one, Asper made his way down the long hallway. The factory on the inside was nothing like the outside. It was clean and organized.

So far the only thing Asper had found were some guards which were rushing outdoor, most likely due to all of the noise they had made. They didn't pose much of a challenger however.

The more time he spent walking, the less he felt like himself. His breathing was unstable, his vision was slightly hazy, he was panting heavily even his thought process had slightly been disturbed.

'Fuck is wrong with me…?' He questioned as he looked over at his hand.

It was trembling non-stop. He couldn't get rid of the cringey feeling on his back.

All of his wounds had been adapted and disinfected by his skill so although some were still open and painful, it was unlikely that the cause was physical. Leaving only one other option. It was psychological.

"What the fuck…" Asper muttered as he forced a smile. "I talk all that shit about killing them and I can't even handle this? Lame." He added.

Even though he was already level 29 and had gained a tremendous amount of experience points. He didn't feel as happy as he thought he would have. Even though he was getting his revenge. Why? Why was it that he felt that way?

It's precisely because he didn't know that he became confused, and that confusion infuriated him.

Suddenly, he came to a stop in front of two large doors, there he was, at the end of the hallway.

As he extended his arm towards the handle, he felt a chill go down his spine.

"!"

Asper ducked, rolling back as he did, only to see the door diagonally split in two as some sort of passed right through it. The blade moved so fast, Asper was barely able to avoid it, even though he had rolled back, it had still managed cut off the front edges of his hair.

'What?!'

Before he could recompose himself, another blade came vertically down, heading straight at him. It sliced the already sliced up door, in the process as it grazed the side of his shoulder.

Pain. Even with pain resistance, Asper could feel the small sting gradually progressed into a surge of pain on his arm which had been scratched. He looked over only to see that the skin at the edge of his shoulder had been torn off, displaying his slightly torn muscle fibers. It was horrendous.

The next sight as he raised his head however, caused his eyes to widen.

[Wind blade]

Consecutive blades of wind were suddenly unleashed out of the room heading straight at Asper.

Asper rolled left and right, leaping further and further back with every opportunity. There was limited spacing for movement and dodging as he was in the hallway and they were all attacking him at peculiar angles.

Some were diagonal, followed up by a vertical blade whiles others literally formed an X slash as they attacked together.

Asper was lucky that his body was in great shape and responding just as he wanted thanks to him having raised the [SEN] stat. He gradually made his way further and further back, aiming to get inside one of the rooms. But just before he could-

A vertical, diagonal and horizontal slash simultaneously made their way at him.

In that instant, Asper's brain kicked into auto-pilot and he reflexively jumped rotating his body as he stuck his arms and legs close together causing him to barely fit through the gap before he jumped into the room and shut the door.

He took in deep breaths as he quickly began to assess the situation.

As it turned out, the guy could use magic. That alone wouldn't be a problem but… For one moment, just one moment Asper was able to see it when the siled up door slid down, he was able to see the weapon which the guy was holding on to.

*Vrrrrrrrrr*

A sound aching to that of an engine could be heard coming out of the room. Suddenly, the sound of shots being fired unleashed as bullets went flying into the room.

*Krrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr*

'The fucker has a machine gun!'

Asper ducked down and watched as the bullets flew threw his head.

He cursed at his misfortune. He fucked up, he had his head up his ass thinking about all those people he killed, and it caused him to drop his guard in the most crucial moment.

Now he was trapped inside of a room, being showered by bullets.

Asper stretched out his arms before suddenly-

*Clap!*

Slapping himself in the cheeks.

It didn't make much of a difference. His eyes were still wavery and he still felt like shit. However in that moment, it reassured him of a crucial fact.

The fact that he was still alive.

And the fact that he didn't want to die.

*Clink*

The door which had been shut, suddenly surprising the large muscular man who had been unleashing rapid fire a while ago.

Following that, a cylinder shaped object suddenly rolled out.

Knowing what it was and having somewhat expected it based on the information he had gotten, the large muscular man suddenly kicked down the door beside him before dashing through and covering his ears.

Despite having done that however, he was surprised that nothing had happened?

Confused, he used a piece of glass and positioned it in a way where he could see the hallway and wouldn't be vulnerable. When he did, his eyes widened as his lips curled up into a smile.

The object was there, so it wasn't his imagination. Turns out it was a fake.

Looks like his prey was better than he looked, however there was one thing his prey had miscalculated. Although it was barely, he could see the edges of Asper's shoes by the door frame.

The smile on his face grew wider as the man quickly leapt back out into the corridor before pointing the machine gun in the direction of the shoes, before quickly unleashing rapid fire again with the remaining energy bullets.

*BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR-"

*Bang!* *Bang!*

<You have slain a hunter!>

<Congratulations! Approaching level 30!>

The sound of the machine gun quickly dissipated as the sound of two gunshots overlapped it. The man dropped to the ground with two holes on his forehead as Asper walked out of the room two rooms down with an energy pistol which had some smoke flowing out of it.

He had taken the pistol from the corpse of one of the four guys he had knocked out in the very same hallway, but didn't expect it to be so useful.

"Dumb ass." Asper muttered as he walked towards the corpse, barefoot.

He was more surprised by the sudden new notification than the fact that the guy actually fell for it. Still, he didn't expect the leader of the purple scorpions to go out so easily, especially when he could use magic.

It felt easy, too easy. But by the time Asper realized it-

*Clunk*

Asper froze as the nuzzle of a gun was suddenly placed at the back of his head.

"Not bad." Said the person behind Asper as he looked down at the nuzzle of Asper's gun which was pointed at his stomach.

Both had each other's weapons pointed at each other.

*BANG!* *BANG!*
