15 Finding A Weapon.

A tall young girl around the same age as Asper. She wore a waiter's uniform which had iconic colors similar to the inside color scheme of the restaurant.

Black and yellow. A yellow shirt and a black skirt. Her deep yellow eyes and long yellow hair went perfectly with the uniform. Many of the other customers gazes were on her. But Asper was too distracted by the food to notice.

"B-Beautiful…" He muttered

"W-Wha? R-Really? T-Than-"

Before she could finish, she was interrupted by Asper who began mumbling.

"This is the most beautiful meal I've ever seen… It cost me only Twenty nova, that's around twelve hours of work, I can do that within one and a half days, if I ate this everyday I wouldn't be able to pay rent, but now I can't help but question if it's really worth paying rent?"

"O-Oh… You meant the food…"

Asper began mumbling things to himself, in a trance when suddenly, he was snapped out of it by the girl who asked.

"Dear customer! Can I get you anything else?"

"Eh? Ah- Could I have some of the b-bubbly drink?" Asper Asked

"B-bubbly?" She replied

"Yeah, Soda."

"O-Oh, Right away."

She then left, leaving behind Asper with the meal. He had already paid for it, so he sure as hell was going to eat it. He was so hungry that he had fainted again.

"Well then… Thank you for the food. Ah…"

Asper opened his mouth wide before taking a bite off the grilled chicken.

'SO GOOD!'

He hastily chewed on the piece of meat in his mouth, with every bite, he could feel and savor the flavor. He then grabbed a piece of fries with his left hand mixed it with some ketchup before digging into it with his mouth filled with the meat.

His eyes widened from the taste. There was only one word which could be used to describe the feeling. Heaven. He ate like a wild-man. They were flavors he would have never been able to have access to in his whole lifetime. All for 40 nova.

Last but not least was the hamburger. He was waiting for this. A simple cheese and ham, burger with ketchup and mayo on it. He took a bite, that he did.

Tears began flowing down his eyes as he placed it back down on the plate.

"Thank you…" He muttered for a moment before he picked it up again.

"Young sir, here's your Soda as you asked. S-Sir!? W-Why are you crying?"

***

"Ah… That sure felt good…" Muttered Asper as he walked along the road with a bag of packed hamburgers. He got some takeaway to have later at home. But before that, he needed to find a proper weapon store. He left the pistol behind in the alleyway because walking around with a gun without It being in a holster would just get attention from enforcers.

That was a bad idea in many ways.

Asper moved his hand inside of the bag filled with three boxes of burgers when suddenly he stopped. He hadn't noticed it before, but there was a weapon store right beside him on his left.

'Ah right, this store.' Asper thought to himself

He had gone down the street a few times, but he never checked it out. It seemed like one of those regular gunsmiths you'd see, with a single entrance and one story high and had a simple gun logo at the entrance.

'No harm in checking it out, besides anything will do as long as it has quality at this point.'

He walked inside and was instantly impressed.

Unlike the other store, this one looked a lot more modernized. However, in terms of number of guns, it didn't lose.

Once again, guns, guns and guns. There were two sections to this store.

The left hand section and the right hand section. The left hand section had guns, knives, swords. Secondary and primary weapons. Where as the right hand section had body suits, Armour and other mechanical parts.

There were significantly less customers than the other store, but these ones seemed more experienced. They were fully equipped and wore specialized body suits.

Asper walked inside and noticed that the only one running the store was a single lady who was walking around helping the customers with their orders. There wasn't any security or other employees to make her life easier.

She seemed rather young, older than Asper but no older than eighteen based on how she looked. Asper had also just turned sixteen so it probably wasn't accurate.

She had long gray hair with an eye patch over one of her deep light blue eyes. A white uniform and a black hat. He'd almost mistake her for a pirate if she was missing one of her arms.

'Must be hard.' Thought Asper as he went over to the left hand section.

No one was paying any attention to him, they were all simply minding their own business. Asper couldn't have been happier at this.

He stared at the guns, inspecting each and everyone with simply his eyes with a serious look. He stared at it, and it stared back.

It almost seemed as if they were having an internal battle at first, but Asper quickly opened up as his cheeks turned bright red as a smile began to grow on his face.

'Is that an Energized UZI…? And what kind of rifle is that, a SCAR?' Asper's eyes went from left to right as he admired each and everyone of them.

That's right. Asper was a gun fanatic, but it wasn't just limited to guns.

'A Saber Level 3 Energy Knife!? 130 Nova only!?'

Of course, Asper didn't recognize every weapon, fortunately, for him there were labels.

"So much to choose from… I don't know what to pick…" Muttered Asper

His eyes then landed on a regular energized pistol and the mags beside it. The label showed 100 Nova for the pistol alone and the energy ammunition seems cheap

"Hm… That model is…"
