4 Chapter 4:

2 months later

In the gym in the attic

'Ahhhhhh, that should be all for today." He descended from the bar and did some light stretches that would keep his body limber. He had found out that he had no need for them, his natural recovery would heal the microtears in his muscles almost as fast as they occurred, but still liked to do them as they would still feel good after a workout. This meant that he could work out as much as he wanted without fear of shredding his muscles as he knew that they would be fixed for the next day. This occurrence had meant that he was able to accelerate his physical recovery and compounded for his unnatural muscle growth, he now had a lean 6-pack and a clearly defined back, that combined with his height of 165 cm made him appear as much older than he currently was. He knew that as he grew, the amount of muscle he could put on would increase, he had no want of becoming a bulky bodybuilder, much referring a more lean calisthenics-like look. He would keep with his training and workouts as much as he could, they helped him focus and function better, a feeling he was slowly becoming addicted to.

He stepped into the shower, then dried up and dressed in some loose-fitting black pants and a simple white T-Shirt that had an assortment of black decorations all over it. He knew that the good clothes combined with his black hair and blue eyes, that framed an almost perfect face, he was appealing. As he grew up, he understood that he would gain attention from a large number of males and females, he also understood that this could easily become an asset, but could also be a bother.

He drank some water and sat down in one of the comfortable lounge chairs in his attic, he supposedly lived with his grandmother but with her frequent work trips, she was almost never home. He picked up his phone, looked at the time and sent a message to his grandmother:

[Ready when you are], she promptly replied, or he assumed her assistant did, [Coming young sir, 5 minutes].

He sat back and sighed, remembering how much his life had changed, no more pain and no more suffering. He had been able to finally get out of bed and walk around without falling to the floor, and it was great. He also found out that his intellect was now scary, he had never been dum but he now picked up on pretty much everything instantly, and not only that, he had been able to pick up on the emotions of reporters every time he watched the news, although he also supposed that the countless Psychology books he had read during his life also helped.

"Ding Dong!" The bell chimed, he lightly sprung from his chair and calmly opened the door, smiling cheerfully at the two figures standing outside. His grandmother, Samantha, as always, wore a plain black suit. Her assistant, Veronica, was a replica of his grandmother in the way she stood and dressed, it was only her green eyes and blond hair (still in the similarly styled bun) that made her different.

They both looked him up and down, and almost as if they had practised it, both widened their eyes at the same time, in a comical manner, even if he assumed it was for different reasons, his grandmother seemed taken out by his change whilst her assistant only had eyes for his clearly defined body and his practised, charming smile.

"So, where are we going?", he asked, disrupting the weird atmosphere in the room.

"Uh, yeah, we are going shopping, I thought that you may need new clothes and we also will need to get you a tutor for him to help you in anything you may need, as well as for you to catch up to your classmates."

'Oh, only if you knew', Ace thought while laughing joyously in his head, looking forward to what was to come.
