Never fails to amuse me

"I agree to you Caleb, whatever you feel like is the right thing to do."

Xavier mumbled. He said emotionlessly. His friends could feel his sadness.

Caleb heaved a sigh, "As you all have heard him, I would like to get over with this argument here. Let's call it a truce."

"Indeed it was the best decision." Ines complimented Caleb for his maturity.

Ines commented, "Serene, move away from there and get inside the car. I hope I don't need to repeat."

The girls knew that Ines was pissed at them and their childish actions.

Serene and other girls went towards their car and stood there, they didn't go inside.

Just one glare of Caleb made Zeki understand that he should also do the same as the girls.

Aza sneakily shifted her eyes at Rev but her hide and seek game got busted as Rev was already staring at her.

'Ugh…. What's his problem? What's my problem? Why isn't my body listening to me? Why are my eyes drifting off to him?' Aza wanted to yell and grab her hair.

She was getting really enraged.

'Angel has a wild side too. It would be fun to ruffle her furs.' He had his left eyebrows raised.

On one side Aza was blasting off in fury while Rev enjoyed every bit of it.

"Let's get going now." Bryan said.

Rev didn't want to part his ways with his Angel but he wasn't left with any choice.

His friends had already sat down, "Get yourself inside the car, Rev."

Rev didn't usher himself immediately. He glanced over to the girls, his desperately searching for Aza, they did find her. She was pouting.

'How it would feel to kiss those juicy and plump lips?'

Suddenly he wanted to kiss Aza.

"What are you busy thinking?" Caleb asked him. He felt there was something wrong with the way Rev was staring at the girls.

'I can't scare her on our first meeting by kissing the life out of her. But the next time we meet, her lips would be thoroughly ravaged.'

Rev smirked in an evil way.

"Nothing", Rev got in.

Caleb turned the engine, the lifeless car roared in a meek way since its bonnet was damaged.

The girls watched them going.

"Diana, I am never letting you touch the car keys anymore. It's final." Ines warned Diana.

"Yes, Diana and the car are a deadly combination."

"If she is the driver for even a single day, I'm sure it will be my last day on earth."

Diana rolled her eyes, "Even I want to drive a car again."

Her reply made them sigh in relief.

Aza pouted, "I lost my mood to eat now. Let's go back."

The rest of the girls felt bad and upset that their plans had been spoiled but they couldn't do anything.

They had thought to have lunch at the café. It was their treat to Aza as she had cooked them a delicious breakfast the previous week.

However, things didn't turn out well for them.

Since the one who they had prepared everything wanted to go back. They didn't have the heart to force her stay. They had noticed how sleepy and tired her eyes were, in the morning when she came down. They almost fainted when they saw large dark eye bags under her eyes.

She had tried to comb her hair yet it looked like

a bird's nest. Overall she was looking worse than a zombie.

They knew she had to work without a break for the week. For her, work always came first.

Seeing her like that, they wanted to do something for her. Therefore they planned for a lavish lunch at L'Amour Rosé Café.

It wasn't a cafe alone. They provided all three meals a day. For weekends, they also had brunch on their menu.

The girls got into the car and tightened their seat belts. The car rushed at high speed on the road.

Livia had taken the job for driving this time.

They had crestfallen faces. They lost their energy and looked dispirited.

"All our plans and surprises always go downhill. It's better if we don't plan anything special."

Livia whined. She wanted to bang her head on the wall.

"I know it is not the first time but I hope it is the last time." Serene hoped for the good. She was the one who gave more importance to the positive things even if the majority was negative.

Apparently she believed that if we have one positive point against infinite negative. We should still be hopeful.

Our hope is the only reason we are surviving in this vast world that is full of negativity. One should always give more attention to the good side rather than criticizing.

Aza also understood what her friends had stored in for her. She felt tired and sore all over her body but she couldn't refuse them when they had asked her to come with them.

Their bond was just like this, they put others first than themselves.

'It is my fault that everything turned upside down. If I didn't request them to let me park the car, nothing would have happened.' Diana berated herself.

'I should do something. I can't let them be hungry.' She instantly opened her phone and looked through her apps. She found the online food delivery apps.

She ordered the food for all of them.

'We will reach home in time.'

The food delivery app showed her the required time for them to deliver the food and it was her luck that they didn't have to wait for long.

Since they were on their way already and would arrive at the condominium in 30 minutes.

'They can enjoy scrumptious food in our home's cozy environment.' Diana felt less guilty. She also ordered their favourite sweet dishes.

She felt satisfied at her work.

Whereas the boys had already eaten a late brunch so they didn't have to worry about food until late at night.

However, they had something more serious to deal with.

Two of their friends were so engrossed in their deep thoughts that they hadn't opened their mouths since the time they had sat in the car.

Both had different expressions on their faces, one had a goofy smile as if he had won a lottery, the other was neutral but his eyes betrayed him.

They were shining with some enigmatic passion.

Another week passed by, this time Aza didn't have to prison herself in her room. She had a good and deep talk with her master. He had explained the gravity of the mission she was on board.

He had also told her that she had a co partner who would help her in managing and taking care of the team.

He had clarified that they have to start the mission after a month till the time they should familiarise themselves with each and every member of the team. She didn't know the other five chosen candidates.

"Disciple, your curiosity never fails to amuse me." Her master joked when he saw her using the famous puppy eyes technique at him to know about her fellow team members.
