4 Finger - Licking

"Mind explaining?" Ines raised her left eyebrows at Aza.

"Hmm… What?" Her face showed zero memories. Like she had suffered amnesia. As her eyes had hidden the mischief.

Livia staggered and reached to them, "What? What? You are asking Aza, you are the one who pushed us to the pit." She clutched Aza's right arms tightly.

Only for goodness grace that none of them liked having long and sharp nails as the other girls of their age loved. Otherwise her nails would go straight into Aza's skin and break off her skin tissues with the strength shehad used to clutch her arms.

Ines didn't have any expectations to get a sensible and direct answer from Aza. She always loved to talk in riddles with the ones she felt close to, but it was a headache to resolve them.

Ines turned to the other two statues, Diana and Serene.

"You have 1 minutes to tell me what, why and whose? Time starts now?" Not bothering to repeat her question again. She gave them the time limit.

"Diana, you tell her."

"No Serene, you tell her."

"No, you should try, Dia. She is same age like you. You both have an amazing camaraderie. And more importantly you are older than me and also intelligent." Serene pushed Diana forward.

She tried to turn back, but Serene's hold on hair was secured enough. "Why do you want me to be the chicken who is going to butchered right now?" Dia begged and cried.

"30"

"Okay, okay… I'll tell you what happened. So the thing began with something as in ….." Diana's mouth moved like the Flash. Though he was a fast runner himself, not only his mouth.

She rapped her words. Yet as Serene explained about Dia and Ines's relationship even if no one can understand her words. Ines would do like a flick of the finger. It was scary sometimes as all of them were big foodies but Diana was a food monster.

During the time they ate together and when Diana had to say something. It was always Ines doing the job for her. Translating her words for the others.

"Ding... Dong…" The doorbell's sound echoed.

"Who would come at this time?"

"Did anyone order anything?"

They looked at each other whereas Aza stood up and went to open the door.

Diana hopped to the dinner table as Aza placed the food boxes on the top of it, "Aza, you ordered take outs? But when? Weren't you with us all the time? I didn't see you calling?"

"Neither did I."

"Nor me."

Livia and Serene pondered over. Ines left them and sat on the chair beside Livia.

Aza took out the food from the boxes and arranged them on the table. She also placed the other cutlery.

At last when she was done, she sat on the head chair, "Should I wait till the next morning? So that the food turns cold? Then will you eat them?" She took the chopsticks and mixed the noodles.

Immediately they ran and sat on the two left chairs. Livia sitting in front of Ines with Serene directly opposite the hungry Diana.

The moment Diana's high smelling nose scented the delicious and mouthwatering smell of water. She had long forgotten her own identity.

Everything has turned blurry for her except the delicacies, her eyes feasted upon with an undying love in them.

Like a moth attracted to a flame. Diana's legs moved on their own and had landed her close to the table in no time waste.

She didn't even wait for Aza to take everything out of the boxes. She had already opened them.

The divine and delectable smell had assaulted her nose, which had already lost the war.

Livia had made a promise to herself to avoid take outs at any cost but she couldn't even fight off when her stomach had declared defeat.

They ate in silence. They never preferred talking while eating nonetheless sometimes they had to talk. It was during that time Ines took up the duty of a translator if they ate outside to order the waiter, not at their home.

All of them together had given this no salary job to Ines. They could give it to Aza too but knowing her personality. They rejected the idea.

As per the rule goes for foodies, no talk only eat.

They were foodies however not everything suited their tastes. They weren't picking eaters, it was just that every food didn't excite their taste buds.

Diana couldn't control the pleasure anymore, "Where did you order this from? The taste is heavenly. We had ate Korean many times before but this Korean food couldn't be compare to them. It is just perfect."

"Aza, tell me the name of the place. We'll go to eat hotpot there next time. If they can make this divine food? We as a foodis have to try everything from their menu. It tastes homemade. It gave off the feeling of 'Made with love'."

"Mmmm….." Serene moaned out.

"I agree, Aza. We should go there to eat sometimes but not every other day."

Ines too appreciated the food yet she preferred not to eat it everyday. Although it tasted homemade, Ines didn't want them to live on take outs each day.

The food was finger licking that almost ate their fingers.
