14 Crash!

"Have you lost your non-existent brain cell Livi?" Serene patted her chest to calm down her racing heart which was scared to its wits.

While Ines was busy arranging the food, she saw Diana and Serene mumbling and whispering.

This made her curiosity heightened that she didn't care if her words scared them.

Livia shrugged her shoulders, "Now stop talking about me and tell me what you both were discussing, don't even say it was nothing as I saw you both act like thieves."

Livia warned them if they tried to ignore her question like it wasn't important.

"Now spill everything before I tell them about your secrets." Livia wiggled her eyebrows when she saw her friends getting stiffened.

'Hohoo..so they do have some secrets. Who knew this trick would work on them.' Livia wished someone to pat her back with appreciation.

"It wasn't something too important yet we can't ignore." Serene answered in a hypothetical way that made Livia more bewildered.

Livia face palmed, "Don't play riddles with me. You know I suck at them, just say it directly."

They could feel the frustration in Livia's voice.

"Should we tell her?"

"She can't keep it a secret."

When they both were asking each other, Ines came into the room. She saw Livia moving her head from Diana to Serene.

"At this rate, your neck will come off and fall." Ines chided at her.

Her eyes shot up and saw the other two, "Why are you playing passing the parcel game without a ball?"

She taunted.

They gulped their saliva before Serene said, "Hey, don't taunt us. We aren't playing any games. Right now I am worried for all of us."

She glanced at the stairs.

"Are you hesitating since Aza isn't here, then let her come. You can tell us later."

Livia assured them as she noticed their not so secret gazes towards the staircase. She saw that Aza was the only one missing.

Serene gulped down the glass of water in one go, "I'm not hesitating. I am scared for myself and us. If Aza comes down and hears us talking."

She could feel the shudder up her spinal cord. Both she and Diana knew what the outcome would be if they told her yet they were more afraid of hiding it.

They had been together since their birth. They knew everything about each other from their likes to their deepest and darkest secrets. They even know the number of hairs on each other's head.

It was impossible to hide anything. They understood each other better than themselves.

So now when they both had been asked to hide this news, it was undoubtedly the same as digging their own graves. They couldn't keep a secret from Aza or lie to her. But this time they had been requested by someone they couldn't fail. Since the person never asked them for any favour other than this. They couldn't afford to decline.

"We don't have a whole day Serene and if you don't want Aza to know a word then better tell us now as she will be coming in less than one minute." Ines didn't want to pressurise them but their stares gave her an idea that they wouldn't like if Aza knew about what they know.

_____________

"Cheer up dude." Zeki playfully smacked Rev's arm.

It seemed Zeki wasn't knowledgeable enough. He didn't know that they shouldn't try to be talkative and hyperactive around a sleep deprived person.

"You are lucky that you are my friend otherwise with the hand you just smacked me, would have been broken down. Your hand bones would've been crushed into tiny pieces. That you can't see them with the microscope."

For the whole week, Rev had tons of work to complete and adding his insomniac, nightmares it won't be wrong to say that he couldn't get a chance to close his eyes.

Zeki smiled broadly, not minding his hand being jerked off by his friend. Zeki was always the one to be happy and excited during the start of the day.

Though as the day went on, his eyes would look exhausted and tired the most.

"What happened to you for the whole of last week? You stayed inside your room and didn't even come out for food." Zeki enquired.

Bryan tied the laces of his shoe, "His teacher gave him a task last weekend."

Zeki raised his eyebrows, "Huh.. What was it this time?"

Caleb put on his sunglasses.

"Let's go into the car first then we can talk about the task."

They agreed as per his suggestion.

Caleb took the driver's job for today. Rev sat in the shotgun seat. The Other three had no choice but to sit at the back seat.

"Now tell everything that you both have been hiding from us." Zeki accused Caleb and Rev. At the same time he complained how they both were keeping things in the dark.

Caleb glanced at Rev and stared at his calm face. His eyes were closed and he knew that he had listened to Zeki's words yet he was too tired to explain to him.

Therefore Caleb took it as his own responsibility to quench their thirst of curiosity.

He peeped at the three of them through the reverse view mirror.

Since he got busy clarifying to them. The time flew by and eventually they reached their destination.

Caleb parked their car and moved out. The others also did the same. They went into the L'Amour Rosé Café.

Meanwhile, Aza and her gang also arrived at the Café parking lot.

"Ines, I want to park the car." Diana pleaded to her.

Her big doe eyes were impossible to ignore.

"Fine." Ines couldn't win against them.

She and others came out of the car whilst Diana took the driving seat. She turned on the engine and slowly tried to reverse the car.

She was successful in parking it perfectly yet somehow her hand got into contact with the accelerates and the car jerked forward.

Everything happened so suddenly that the girls didn't have any chance to stop the car before it crashed.

Diana's head fell on the safety cushion over the steering wheel.
