13 Candidate

"A week has passed away in a blink of an eye. Now we have to go back to University." Aza smacked her head on her pillow. Her eyes were full of sleep.

She was lost in her thoughts regarding the task she got last week. It wasn't astonishing to believe that someone has tried to hack her personal laptop. Since the time she began to use the Dark Web, it became a normal day to day part of her life. There was always someone who challenged her.

The DARK web was a hidden and legal site for those who had immense skills in hacking. Not everyone can get access to it. They must have the best computer skills if they want to be a part of it. This wasn't a site where you can join to practice or learn hacking.

But if you have the capability to pass their test and gain the ultimate chance. Then it surely means that you are more than the best of the hackers.

The DARK web had its connections which helped them to monitor the hackers all over the world. Their servers monitor and check every possible electronic device with the internet source. Therefore it was legal but invisible. The Government of the different countries had given the power to look into their most secured secrets. It was done with the promise of not letting anything happen to the security of the country and its resources.

Yet lately some had been trying to get into the main server of the DARK web. At first it wasn't eye catching but now it was, as one of the powerful countries under them has been targeted and bombed by the terrorists.

The Universal Justice Organization had contacted them. They had given the DARK web owners cum creators a warning. The warning had turned the web into chaos. Every single hacker's data had been surveyed to find the culprit. Still they were unsuccessful, so the creator had ordered the top 5 hackers of every country for a conference, where he would choose 10 among them.

These ten hackers and computer geniuses had to be given a big mission. For this mission, the first candidate was Aza along with another, she had been chosen as the leader and she also had to help others in finding the rest of the required team members. Although it wasn't an easy task. It took her a week to choose them.

The selection process was hard too. They had to show their skills and abilities before they were chosen. The ultimate round was a duel with Aza. They didn't have to defeat her but they had to at least get more than 85% of the total. Marks were given by the creator.

Owner was the one to judge the duel. The duel was to destroy the last firewall of the owner's system in a limited time. Many had tried but they couldn't get past the 3rd layer itself. Aza and one more had destroyed the other 6 and both of them reached the last 7th layer at the same time. Also went past in the same time gap.

She was chosen as the leader whereas the other was supposed to be the co-leader of the team. Aza didn't join this web alone, her friends were also members of it. They had together decided to be part of the web. They have their own specific skills related to hacking. Therefore they got to know everything a little later than Aza. However it wasn't the main thing. They had been selected since they did better than others. Her friends succeeded in decoding the 5th security layer.

Apart from this four others were also selected. They could also reach the 5th one.

Due to all this work, Aza didn't even get the chance to go outside of her room. Her meals were delivered to the room by her friends.

"WAKE UP!! Azaaaaaaa…." Just as Aza was close to see the face of the man that came to her nightmares. It was miraculously the first time that she didn't see the guy's face as a black and blank as a slate. Yet she couldn't.

The sudden banging noise shocked her to the core that she even fell down from her bed with her blanket.

She sleepily tried to locate her alarm clock to turn it off. Only then it occurred to her that she had broken down the last alarm clock.

"It's not the alarm then who is crying as if it's precious treasure had been stolen." She sleepily moved her head.

"Wake up Aza!! Wakie Wakie", then she noticed that the noise was coming from the door.

She tried to stand up but it was a failed attempt as her feet were tangled in the blanket that made her fall on the floor and kiss it, once again. It was her luck that the floor had been carpeted with the smoothest and softest cashmere wool. It was the most rare type.

"Come out downstairs soon." Aza heard her 'sleep killer' saying before everything went silent.

Aza detangled herself and stood up. She gathered the blanket from the floor and set it on the bed.

Aza padded to her bathroom, she saw the bird's nest on her head; her hair which resembled the nest more. It was messy.

She put the toothpaste on her brush, "Everyone hates my sleep. None is letting me sleep." She cried inwardly.

After brushing, she bathed and went outside. She went to her wardrobe which only had one coloured clothes; black. Every single piece of clothing was in black color. She took out a hoodie and high waisted jeans. She paired them up with white sneakers. The only contrast in her all black look.

She blow dried her hair at low heat. She didn't prefer them yet at the moment she didn't have any choice other than it.

"AZA!!!" Ines yelled.

"I'm coming in 2 minutes." She clasped her pendant and took a black hair tye in hand.

Diana whispered to Serene, "Are you sure?"

"What are you both whispering in each other's ears?" Livia jumped in between them with her words.
