2 Chapter 2 - Homeroom teacher

Now that's over with I now have to find my new homeroom for this year, I walk down the corridor trying to find my homeroom I keep walking until I find my homeroom yes here we are class 2A the second to top class in the school, as soon as I step in to the class room I am greeted with a hug by my two best friends Luna and Adam I say "sweet four years of being together and we still end up being in the same class" Luna giggled and replied

"I know I cany believe we are in the second to top class this year" Adam said

"maybe it's because we all got the best scores in the school especially you Charlie" I blush and replied

"oh come now don't say that you all managed to get a good solid pass in maths I only just scrapped it so I dont know how I came top in the whole school" Luna put her hand on my shoulder and said

"but you deserve it Charlie"

"yeah right"

"I'm serious Charlie, you worked you arse off from the moment we were in the lowest class"

"you did to, you know"

"that maybe so but you worked the most, you even gave up the drama club to study and that takes a lot to give up something that you love" after our conversation we heard some of the other students in our class talking

"I wonder who our homeroom teacher is"

"yeah, also have you noticed who is in our class ths year too"

"yeah Charlie the head girl herself"

"I bet she is going to get into the top university"

"she was talented in musical theatre is such a shame that she quite to study"

"yeah, she was amazing, I wonder whether she is going to take it on again" one of the students came up to me and asked

"hey Charlie are you going to do the musical this year" I turn around and replied

"I'm not sure yet, I mean I do want to go into this field, but I dont know I need to get my maths grade up so I do have to study for that, but I'll come along to see what the show is"

"great, oh by the way, who do you think is going to be our new homeroom teacher"

"not sure, but we will soon find out won't we" she went off to find her other friends and I was left talking to my best friends Luna said

"hey wouldn't it be funny if Mr Yuta was out homeroom teacher" I look at her confused and said

"now why would that be funny Luna" Adam replied

"because he is known as one of the best teachers in Japan for getting pupils maths grades up" then Luna said

"and he left his school to come here" I said

"but why would he leave his school to come here" Luna was about to speak when we heard a voice from behind us

"well that's easy i left because my class was failing and I couldn't help them so the pupils set me up and I was let go" we all turn around to see that Mr Yuta was standing in the doorway to our classroom Luna pushed me forward and whispered

"go on welcome him to our class" I look at her and said

"what why"

"your head girl are you not, your supposed to welcome new people to the school" I sign and walk up to him and said

"welcome Mr Yuta, I'm Charlotte Spicer" he laughed and said

"yes I know who you are Miss Spicer, your quite the famous one in school aren't you" I reply

"Sir"

"well your the one who got to the top of the school in your last exam and not only that you are head girl" i blush and don't say anything he then wa.ked passed me as i walked back to my seat and he continued "so as you can see class 2A i am your homeroom teacher for the remainder of the year" you could here some of the pupils saying

"sure we are going to get good grades now in maths for sure"

"indeed we are" he laughed at said

"yes and as part of my teaching I will be going through the class list and telling every student who will be staying after school for extra maths lessons as they didnt achieve their goal" he read through the list and said "Miss Spicer" I stood up and said

"yes sir"

"you only just scraped the maths part of the exam so you'll be part of it as well" I nodded and sat back down how humiliating was that being called out in front of the class and telling them that I was going to be part of the program I mean I didnt mind at least I'll be able to get my maths grade up. so maybe my new homeroom teacher isn't going to be that bad after all.
