Raj's college friends (1)

Raj's P. O. V

I know I'm stranger to her now but I felt hurt that she was avoiding me.

"Ananya you can go to your class now, I will park my bike." I told her. "Okay, bye. See you." She said that and was on her way to class then I said "Don't say that now because I will take you home after college."

"Why? You don't have to do that. Did Maa told you to do that?" She asked in a confused tone.

"No, I have something to say to you." I answered her calmly.

"You don't have to take me home, if you really have something important to tell me then after class meet me at the college entrance gate we will talk there." She insisted.

"What? do you know what people will think about us if they saw us talking at the college entrance gate. So wait for me I'll take you home and we can talk on the way, okay." I replied to her.

It seemed like she was frowning but she replied to me "And what do you think they will think about us if they saw us together going somewhere? Okay, you just want to tell me something right? You have my number so just text me."

"No, I wanna talk with you in person." I said it with a disappointed look on my face. She ignored me and started walking towards her class. I parked my bike and headed to the class.

When I entered my class, I saw a guy coming towards me. He was at least 6 feat tall. A guy who looks like a 'Devil' with a 'Handsome ' face. Although he was wearing casual clothes, he still looked like a 'Devil'.

'Rohit'

He and his friends' group which consists of three members made me their friend from the very first day of my college. Rohit also joined me in their friends' circle called 'Cool Boys' in spite of the fact that I wasn't even slightly interested in that.

He came near me and asked "Why did you refuse to come with us?"

"Because I had something to do." I replied him.

"As if you were dropping your girlfriend to her college?" He asked me that in a serious tone and I could sense anger in his voice.

"Not really but something like that." I answered him in a mocking tone.

He elbowed me lightly in my abdomen and said "As if you would have a girlfriend. Poor guy, can't even get a girlfriend. What a pity." He teased me. "I don't need your pity." As I said him that in a casual way as much as possible, I walked past to him and sat down on my seat. He came and sat down beside me. "Hey, Raj can I ask you something?" He said it in a serious tone but I was in the mood to joke with him so I replied "Yeah, ask. As if you would not ask if I said no, so just say what you want to ask me."

"Raj, I'm not in the mood to joke, I'm asking you this seriously." I understood that he was not in the slightest mood to joke so, I said "Yeah, say what do you want to ask me." I said it without mocking him.

"Raj, why don't you date someone. I mean, seriously you're good-looking, a nice guy and you also take your responsibilities seriously so, why don't you try to get a girlfriend?" He asked me something that I don't want to answer.

"It's simple Rohit, I don't have a girlfriend because I don't want one. Do you understand me?" I said that to him simply, but the look on his face after hearing me was like 'I knew he would say something like that.' "Yeah, why would Mr. Perfect Boyfriend Material want to have a girlfriend." He said it with a grin on his face, I could see that he was back to his real self.

"Now shut up, it's time for professor to be here." I told him while flipping through my book.

The professor came and our lecture began but Rohit really can't stay put. Though he was not using his mouth but was using his phone to text me from below the desk. My phone rang and the professor heard it. He asked everyone "Whose phone is ringing? Stand up."

"I'm sorry sir." I stood up honestly and apologized to him. "Okay, put your phone on silent mode and sit down." He said it with a warning look on his face.

I sat down and put my phone on silent mode. I didn't even check out the messages which Rohit had sent.
