8 Chapter 8: Raid

It's currently August, The entrance exams for the academy don't start till February, We have 6 months to prepare, Riza had informed me of a weapons cache belonging to a gang known as The Cyborgs. We need all the advantages we can met.

The cache is on the docks in an old warehouse, the police known about it but they were bought off. There's a metal fence with turrets on the corner pieces and ID scanners are the gate. The dock is surrounded by metal wall with stopping attack from the water.

I use my shadow eyes to detect how many people are inside, 63, around 40 are armed and the rest pack the equipment into boxes. I don't have a plan and I can't think of anything I can do since I still don't know my powers yet, I look at Riza, her face is as emotionless as usual but her eyes are focused on the compound, "You have an idea?", she stays silent for a while and turns to me "No, we'd probably die", Well thanks for the suggestions. "Let's head back".

Damn it! I can't think of anything, we lack the power to do anything. I stay up late trying to devise a plan. "What if I... no, but if... no, if i can... NO!" they all lead me to death. I slam my head on my desk in frustration, my head lays there for awhile untill i fall asleep.

My vision is red again and I'm in the sky, its dark and the i can see the stars and the big moon, its beautiful but I'm not interested in star gazing. I look down and I'm on the back of the black dragon, I see a town in the distance and head in that direction. I close my eyes and open them again, I'm in the middle of the town, the city is burning, I see the dead bodies of knights, men, women and children. I raise my hand and the voices begin chanting again "Kátos kósmo", I begin chanting, I see purple and red energy emanating from the bodies. I continue chanting and absorb the energy with my hand. "kátos kósmo" káto kósmo, THAT'S IT!

The next day we return to the dock, I stand in front of the gate, the guards and turrets all have their aim on me, Riza is on a nearby roof watching. I suppose I should be nervous but thinking about killing these scumbags kind of excites me. The voices start building slowly, I have no idea what will happen but I smile and chant "kátos kósmo".

The voices disappear in an instant, black flames cover the ground and I see something emerging from the flames, Its an animal, its head emerges face then 2 massive wings extend. Its the black dragon, Well I didn't expect this. Everyone immediately starts shooting, the bullets flick off the dragon without a scratch. The dragon doesn't do anything, I guess it's waiting for orders.

I notice the bullets start flying behind me, I turn around to see what's happening and notice an entire army behind me. The army covers around 10 city blocks, Chariots, mages, striders, warriors. what the hells is this? I don't have time to think about this too much, I activate my shadow eyes, I can see their fear, i can sense their panick. This is perfect, I'm able to see the amount of soldiers I have, 10,000!!!

I guess its time. I command the soldiers to march forward, the soldiers form lines and march with shields and spears, they constantly press forward, the bullets injure them but they regenerate. They pass the gates and flood the compound, I can only hear screams, they never stood a chance. I feel more power building within me, more voices begin chanting. More? There's more! they want to come out. I have to stop them, I focus my hardest, I imagine the army sinking into the black flames.

My body feels like its burning but I can feel the soldiers disappearing and the black dragon disappears too. I look up and notice the dock and warehouse are in bad shape. I stand still for while, the voices are back but there's more this time. I feel someone grab my hand, it's Riza, she starts leading me into the warehouse, the voices disappear.

We walk pass the gates, the turrets are destroyed and the guards are barely recognisable. I open the warehouse door and enter, there's still some survivors. Some begin crawling and beginning me for help, a man grabs my leg and asks for help, his lower half is missing. He's more robot than man, I jerk my leg back out of his grip. I don't feel any sympathy towards him, I don't feel anything so I stomp on his head, completely crushing it.

"No survivors" me and Riza begin to execute the stragglers, she still shows no emotion while killing them, but a part of me feels like she's enjoying this, after all these guys held her captive. I raise my hand and chant "kátos kósmo", a pulse is released and the bodies begin to light up, I can feel their energy and begin to absorb it. More voices appear in my head, I think I know what this mean.
