29 Chapter 28 - War

In the capital of the empire, in the emperor's office, a child drank tea while looking out his window.

A maid quickly entered the room.

"Your Highness, the Queen of England has arrived before the palace."

"Well, disposed"

The maid left and Ash put her cup on the table. He wiped his mouth with a towel before putting on a black tie and put on his mask.

He quickly descended the floors in the elevator and arrived at the entrance to the palace guarded by countless soldiers. He passed several rooms and maids before finding the door he was looking for. He then entered the room, quickly closing the door. Turning around, he discovered a woman's watch sitting with two guards dressed in red on each side.

"Hello Mrs. Queen of England"

The Queen returned and a hint of curiosity appeared on her face a quarter of a second before disappearing and smiling.

"Hello Emperor Ash"

Ash took her seat in front of the Queen and looked her straight in the eye.

"I thought I understood that your country, England, wanted to make an alliance with my Empire?"

"Yes, that's her. We do not want a conflict between monarchy. I would also like to make you some information about a place that might concern you."

"I will believe you, but unfortunately I have other things to do more important. I'm getting over it.

BOOOOMMMMM

A deafening explosion shook the capital. Outside, a large craters near the capital appeared. In the crater was a meteorite the size of a skyscraper.

BIP BIP BIP

The transmitter on Ash's fist lit up and a woman appeared on the bracelet.

| Your Highness, a gigantic meteorite has landed right next to the capital and an alien life form emerges. I've already hired the defense troops on the front of the crash.|

"All right, sent all available units to the crash site. Contacted the Air Force and told them to bring in helicopters and fighter jets as quickly as possible. I also want constant air support in the area."

Ash looked at the Queen right next to him for two seconds.

"Sent the Queen of England to the palace bunker. Contacted the bravo squad and tell them to protect the Queen no matter what the cost. Go under a state of emergency all cities of the empire. Bring me my armor back to my position with the Alpha Squad. We're going to join the fray."

Quickly, soldiers with spartan armor came escorted the Queen to the bunker as I went to the armor installation pod. I quickly equipped my armor, took an assault rifle and a melee weapon before getting into an armored car followed by the Alpha Squad.

Green zergs were coming out of the asteroid by the thousands. Above them were hundreds of soldiers shooting at them, trying to contain them. At first, the zerg were retained but gradually they gained ground. The flamethrowers had to come into play, greatly reducing the weight on the troops.

The zerg then began to climb the sides. The first zerg to climb caught a soldier with these claws and threw him behind him. The soldier shouted before being shredded by three zergs waiting. More and more similar scenes have appeared on the battlefield. Slowly the troops of the empire were pushed further and further away. Attack helicopters machine-gunned the zerg crowd against the bottom, trying to minimize the number of zergs.

Tanks and anti-infantry vehicles quickly came to the battlefield, dramatically reversing the outcome of the battle. Victory while being won, the soldiers blew a little before feeling an earthquake.

Coming out of the crater, a herd of beasts the size of a tank pulled out and rushed to the tanks of the empire. The tanks quickly turned their cannons towards the zerg and a deluge of shells landed on the front of the herd. A moment of silence followed in the tanks before seeing a silhouette in the smoke approaching the line of tanks. The wave of tank fire had done absolutely nothing to the massive zerg.

'Operator, this is Hunter 2-1, needs imminent air support!''

'Hunter 2-1 here Operator, well received. Missile sends please back from the point of impact.'

'Received'

The tanks quickly backtracked. Seconds later, a high-pitched noise sounded as an MK-1 missile struck in the middle of the zerg crowd. The zerg army was swept away, also killing some soldiers of the empire.
