2 Chapter 2- Reality

"Who is the highest-ranked amongst you ten?" Ash asks from his position on the rock.

The soldiers don't move forward to answer Ashes question, some were had a confused look on their face before eventually one of the soldier's steps forward.

"Your highness we all have no rank or name we are just your faithful and loyal servants"

'This is going to be problematic… I will have to set up a ranking order and give them some names… but what am I saying I can handle that later. Since these guys are my first invocations I will make them become the elites of my army!'

Ash comes up with this plan for these soldiers before he proceeds to give each of them a code name for now:

Alpha-03

…

Alpha-09

Alpha-10

Ash nods his head before shouting out, "Alright team Alpha! We are going to search for anything in this forest that can give us a clue to where we are. So let's head out!"

They nod their heads at Ashes words before they get into a slight arrow-shaped formation and start heading North to find some clues and evidence about where they are in this new world.

Eventually, after about 10 minutes of traversing the forest terrain, Ash has one of his soldiers carry him as he was tired and his new child's body was not used to this type of hard work. About 30 minutes after Ash started to be carried by the soldier a loud noise is heard ahead of the group as a beast with white fur appeared in front of the group of 11.

The beast looked like a snow leopard, but it was a lot larger in size, it seemed to be 3 meters in height from where it was standing. Seeing it Ash starts to panic and is flustered about what to do or what sort of action to take. Eventually, Ash gets off the soldier and runs to the back of the group to hide behind another soldier and to get a bit away from the group after yelling at the soldiers to get into a defensive position quickly and start to open fire at the leopard.

Gunshots ring out through the forest as the soldier's fire at the Snow Leopard which is running around at high speeds dodging most of the rounds shot at it.

"Alpha-06 and Alpha-09, get to the left flank of the enemy and pin them down!" Ash yells from the back of the group.

Immediately the soldier closest to Ash relays his orders to the rest of the soldiers and Alpha-06 and Alpha-09 dash out of the formation and flank the leopard effectively pinning it down. The leopard seeing that it was now stuck on the ground, decides to jump up into the trees and effectively passing the defensive formation and arriving directly at the back of the formation where Ash was.

The soldier that Ash was hiding behind whips his gun around to open fire at the leopard but a massive paw sends him flying away, leaving Ash by himself and defenseless.

Tears stream down his face as thinks of how his new life is about to end so quickly. Then just when Ash thought the Leopard was going to tear him to pieces an explosion blasts the right side of the leopard. Before Ash can process what is happening several more explosions ring out flinging Ash onto a nearby tree and causing a ringing in his ears to happen.

As for the Leopard, there was nothing left of it. The soldiers had used their grenade launchers against the beast effectively killing it before it could harm Ash but it wasted a lot of ammunition as a result.

A notification appeared in front of Ash informing him that his men had indeed killed the Leopard and had gained something called Shop points? Recovering from the emotions of facing death and wiping the tears from his face Ash asks the system to show him all the functions it could do.

Seeing what was available to him Ash opens up the shop tab and discovers the wide array of items available to him. There were weapons, vehicles for military and civilian use, aircraft, spacecraft, building plans, and a bunch of other useful stuff. The only thing that the shop did not offer was anything living.

But looking at the meager 200 points that Ash has he realizes that he may need to spend them a bit more wisely.

Seeing as how the fight with just the snow Leopard was so difficult Ash decided to postpone any more exploring for now and instead focus on the training that was available to him to become a soldier. After buying two multiperson tents and a single person tent from the shop at a cost of 15 shop points total, Ash moves into the single one and opens up the system before going onto the Instructor tab and hitting the Start button.

Ashes vision fades away before he opens his eyes to find himself at some sort of Army training camp all by himself.

"I feel like I'm going to have fun," Ash says to himself
