20 Dante Luna's Departure

The car stopped in Nadia's two-story house. This was actually the first time her father Dante had been to her home. "It's very… quaint." Dante said looking at the place.

"Just call it what it is. Which is small compared to your mansion but I prefer it. Though very big for a single woman sure but I got this 2 years ago planning to eventually have a family. So it has got more than enough room for family, friends, or coworkers to stay over. Has a fairly large lovely backyard for my pets to play in, a decent garden that is up kept by a hire, a pool, pond, a large swing set a place I can do all my sports and such. The land is completely surrounded by a forest for about 1.5km so I have some privacy. I'm 37 minutes away from the city and work with great wifi and signal. Honestly my dream home. Not to mention that women has no idea where it is." Nadia sighed getting out of the car and stretching.

"I got to ask. Can I do anything as long as it's in character with me? It will have no effect on our world correct?" Nadia asked as she bent down touching her toes. Then begun to stretch out her other limbs.

"Yes and after you leave if it doesn't happen in the real version of the world things will return to normal once all the real people leave. But if you plan on causing injury or something make sure they are not real."

Nadia began to smile which might just be considered an evil grin she licked her upper lip slightly. "Good cause. That means I can have a 'little fun'." Nadia began to laugh as she walked to her front door unlocking it and opening the door. 'My dogs and cat are gone. Meaning that Faroe took them with him to take care of them.'

Nadia walked inside her home she felt a warm feeling in her chest as she looked around at her home. She kicked off her shoes and stepped inside in her socked feet. Walking around she looked at the main room. "I must say the place looks nice." Dante muttered looking around the house.

"Thanks, it's also currently empty since Faroe is taking care of them."

"No boyfriend."

"No, I was more busy protecting Faroe from that woman, school and then work to have a relationship."

"I s-see."

Nadia crossed her arms looking over at her father. "Just place my luggage to the side and follow me upstairs I want to show you something. Though having to show you is even more embarrassing." Nadia muttered as she walked up the stairs and into the master bedroom.

She waited till her father was in the room then went over to her bookshelves. Nadia glanced through the bookshelf and pulled out a familiar title. [Destined Lovers] a very anime-like romance cover. "This is the game of the world I'm currently in. Though they look more like people they are still eye-catching at least from what I've seen."

"This game? Wait eye-catching do you like someone in this world."

"Pff. No, I don't I just said they are nice on the eyes. Can't shoot me for admiring their beauty. Besides their beauty is not need or required for my plan in completing my goal of ending the world's loop."

"You already have a plan."

"Of course I do. But I'm not telling you what it is you have to that figure out later."

"Can you tell me at least which person you have inhabited?"

Nadia looked over the cover and saw the familiar figure of Evangeline but older. 'You know looking over at the cover now I wonder why the villainess was a main focal point larger than the Heroine but knowing what I know now it makes sense.' She sighed as she points at the image. "This is the older version of who I'm controlling. I'll be making major changes from the original story to make it turn out my way."

"Wait hold on are you fighting against the world?"

"Essentially yes. If I talk in-game lingo I'm the villainess of this story. Or at least the first main story. The first main story is the result of the 'villainess' failing. The game doesn't show what happens after the villainess die's but the world almost collapses according to the council. There are actually two disks. I've only played about 1/3 of the first disk. The Council updates the 'game' after each attempt."

"No one's passed this have they."

"Correct."

"Sigh. I know I can't stop you but just make sure you don't really die in our world… please."

"I won't make any promises as anything can happen. But I'll try not to."

"That's the least I can ask."

Dante looks down at his watch and his expression changes slightly. "It's about time. Let me cast the spell I mentioned earlier on you before I go." He sighed as he walked next to Nadia. He chanted a short yet intricate spell that enveloped Nadia making her body feel warm for a moment. "It's done and they will be coming any moment so I'll be going outside." Dante told Nadia and he ran off.

Nadia walked over to the window the sky got darker with each passing moment the sky was turning a dark black and blood-red colour. It was showing the world's true colours. This in itself causes a wave of dread and 'dark' energy to coat the world that made Nadia's skin crawl. Nadia was able to look out into the backyard in which Dante had escaped to.

Dante held no weapon as he stood firm in the yard looking up to the sky. It was only a few minutes later that the sky begun to flash dark lightning begun to crackle in the sky then a dark bolt of lightning flashed and struck the ground a few hundred meters away from Dante.

What appeared in front of Dante was a multi-limbed humanoid monster with an elongated mouth filled with retracting teeth that had a split down the middle of the lower jaw that could open up to allow its tongue to shoot out. A long tail and on each set of hands the fingers were pointed. Its eyes were blood red and its entire body was a very dark purple and black with horns on its skull. It was a thing of nightmares it was none other than a Hunter.
