15 Back Home?

She recognized the setting around her well the familiar sound of car horns could be heard, something she hadn't heard for months at this point. She looked around and recognized the building behind her to be a hospital. It looked as if has had just come out of the hospital. She could see her reflection of herself in the glass a young looking 24-year-old with shoulder length brown/green tinted hair with strawberry blonde balayage streaks, she pushed the hair away from her right eye to see her heterochromatic eyes staring back at her. She then turned her gaze down to her right wrist to see her familiar bracket (which as Eva she wears on her right) that was slightly covering a scar on her wrist. 'This is my body. I can feel everything it's not a dream… not like I dreamed of being here.' Nadia thought as she allowed her hair to fall back into her face to hide her right eye.

"Dia what are you doing standing there?" A familiar voice asked Nadia turned to see that a car had drive up behind her as she was so engrossed in looking at her appearance, something that was a little out of her typical character.

"F-f-father?! What are you doing here?"

"What else, I've come to pick up my daughter from the hospital after you've finally been released after the plane crash." father replied.

"I-i-i never thought father would do something like that." Nadia muttered looking down.

"Dia?"

"N-Nothing! I'm getting in I'm getting in!"

Nadia grabbed her small bag that was beside her she tossed it in the back before getting into the front seat. She buckled up her seat belt then her father begun to drive off leaving the hospital and drive down the road. "It will be a few hours till we get to your house. So don't worry about taking a nap on the way." Father told her Nadia just nodded her head and looked out the window. She could see her reflection again and could see her father's reflection as well, she even a glowing reflection very familiar to her resting on the console.

'That book… its the book that Evangeline got So that must mean that past month was real. I'm the only one that can see this book in the mirror or really in a reflective surface, and I learned after some investigation in to the enchantment on the book connect is connected to the soul that is in the current loop that Evangeline's body is in. Meaning my loop hasn't ended… now the real question is where am I? Is this my home world… or an illusion… that's what I need to find out.' Nadia thought clenching her fist slight.

She closed her eyes thinking of the very last moments before she regained consciousness here. 'I remember seeing three people. Then darkness but it doesn't stop there I remember the feeling of falling at the very end like my knees buckled or something.' Nadia muttered as she tapped her finger on the ledge of the door.

"Oh Dia would you like to listen to your music? Plug it in."

"Ah you sure? You usually prefer classic rock where I listen to anything."

"Of course darling you just got out of the hospital… not to mention a coma after the crash."

"Ah alright then." Nadia replied pulling her phone from her pocket and connecting it to the car stereo. It was a little odd for Nadia her father has never really been this caring towards her. Often distant the last time she saw him before this was 2 years ago and they were not in contact for those 2 years. He was completely unaware of the problems she had growing up… but then again she never told him in the first place.

She looked out the window at the cars passing by them. The glance over at the tall buildings that they were driving by tall familiar buildings. 'So we crashed at landing… just like I thought. Cause I don't remember too much about the descent. This is the Capital city of Ontario… this is Toronto.' Nadia sighed before turning her head way from the window. 'Though I hate my life… I did kinda miss this.'

She leaned her chair back listening to the music playing over the car stereo and closed her eyes again. Thinking back to the last moment again. 'Though my vision was not entirely clear… I remember that the 3 people were all men. I also remember there hair colour, white/blue hair, green hair, and a silver/gold hair.' Nadia thought letting out a slight sigh. 'What ever is happening is due to the dark beast. But that's all I can get for what I remember. It will have to be a learn as I go thing it seems. Interesting yet annoying at the same time.' Nadia muttered before just listening to the music and the sound of the car driving along the road.

Normally Nadia had trouble sleeping in a car but she was so tired from all that has happened lately she feel right asleep after 20 minutes of trying to sleep. About an hour or so passes and Nadia's father nudges her. "Dia let go get something to eat its lunch time and we still got a few hours left till we get to your home." Father said Nadia opened her eyes and fixed her chair to sit up.

She reached over and opened the car sliding out of the car her father walked next to her and they went into the fast food restaurant. "I'll order for you you can head to the bathroom."

"Ah no it's alright I can wait till after we eat. It… it's been a long time since I last seen f-fa… it's been a long time since I last seen you dad." Nadia muttered she felt her ears get hot. 'I never expressed how I felt before. Though my thoughts to words my life will never change I want to say this to my dad. Unlike Eva's father. My dad didn't know about what happened to me till it was too late and he dealt with them very quickly.' Nadia thought she notice her dad looking at her with a surprise expression. It had been years since she had used such a tone with her father. He almost looked like he was going to cry since his daughter has treated him in such away.

The two off then got their meal and ate there burger and fires in a peaceful calm silence something the two of them usually did and had no issue with. As Nadia was finishing up her burger her dad reached out and touched the side of her face. "I'm sorry happy to see that you are alright and alive Dia. I love you. I love you so much so please don't leave me and your brother. "

Nadia paused because what he said was and odd tense. She has never told her dad she was going to leave, like cut them off completely and never speak again nothing like that. But he was acting as if she was leaving or even dying like he was trying to escape for the reality of the situation or something. It sent a slight chill down her spine. She quickly finished her burger and the last of her meal and raced to the washroom.

After going to the washroom and washing her hands she stood in front of the mirror looking at her reflection. She splashed water on her face feeling the coolness of the water hitting her skin. She let out a sigh, 'is this real or not? Argh just what is going on?' She groaned running her hand through her hair. Suddenly the door to the bathroom opened in walked another women she went over the the sink next Nadia and pulled out some lipstick to do her lips.

Nadia looked up at the mirror to look at how the shade looked on her and glanced over at the women next to her in the mirror when her blood ran cold. Nadia couldn't see the figure of the women, no instead all she could see was a dark shadow like mass. The person next to her was not a human. 'This isn't real!'
