The Evans joined as William tried to protect his wife, while Alex pulled Emily and his newborn son behind him while he shot along with Fabian. Lucas had pulled Serena down while both Lorcan and Charlotte protected the priest while they joined the shooting. Serena looked at Lucas who had a gun as well and he grinned at her apologetically. 

"Where did you get the gun?," asked Serena as she shot towards Inez who took cover behind one of the chairs.

"Stefano, he gave me five minutes of gun lessons," Lucas beamed at her, "Looks like I get to protect you on our first day as husband and wife,".

They continued shooting and both Lucas and Serena managed to take cover behind the rostrum, reloading their bullets. 

"This is really a wedding to remember, I mean look at me, we're in a battle where I still wear my wedding dress," said Serena checking from her gun, "How many bullets do you have left?,".
