He could feel the flames slowly melting his skin, slowly consuming him, but the young man was relentless, a loud thumping sound could be heard coming from his chest, it was his heart racing and blood pumping with adrenaline.

He looked down, and he could see plenty of people taking videos and pictures as they watched in awe at the fire.
He even spotted his mother and father begging the social workers to let them through.
A few people spotted him and pointed out his position to the firefighters.
Seeing him carrying his sister on his back his parents cried out in alarm begging the rescuers to quickly rescue them.
The firefighters immediately prepared a life net below where Kei was while the others drove the firetruck closer for its aerial ladder to be able to reach them.

Kei let out a pained scream as a portion of the platform he was standing on collapse and his foot was pierced by a blazing crimson metal door and was stuck.
Kei gritted his teeth enduring the pain as he looked back and could see that the floors were beginning to collapse on them.
He felt fear for the first time but not for his well-being but for his sister's.
Kei's mind went overdrive, and he began to analyze the presented data before him.
How long would it take for the firefighters to reach them?
Kei after getting the worst possible conclusion his expression crumbled before it was replaced by that of a determined one.

Kei though not considered to be a genius, still sees the world as a bunch of data that can be analyzed, a unique trait of his since birth.
He looks down and looks straight at his parents.
"I love you guys. Take care of Erica."
Kei muttered.
Seeing him mutter something, his parents, as if by divine providence, seemed to realize something terrible and strangely enough, they understood what he had just muttered despite the loud noise all around them and the distance.
"No!"
His mother screamed.
Kei tried to stand up but was unable to after all his foot was pierced by a metal rod and was stuck.
Gritting his teeth, Kei held his sister in a princess carry.
He then looked down at the now fully prepared life net.
Giving her a kiss on the forehead and without any other choice Kei threw his sister below, straight to the life net, everyone screamed at the sight, but before his sister could reach the ground the house collapsed burying Kei within while his sister safely landed and was taken care by the social workers.
His mother kneels on the ground crying while his father holds her tightly comforting his wife trying to be the man putting aside his currently own pained and sorrowful heart.

Kei recalled his past and couldn't help but let out an amused expression.
Who would have thought that he'll be reincarnated in the world of Danmachi and have the powers of Tensura after his death.
Currently, Kei is in the guild registering himself as an adventurer and to get a permanent citizenship of the place.
He just entered the famous dungeon city of Orario.
Kei was reborn in a village outside of civilization near the northern mountains where dragon-like species were everywhere wrecking havoc.
He was reborn as a son of a savage tribe, and he was an orphan since birth.
Savage tribe are just like any other humans, and they look no different from other humans, some savages are even more attractive and appealing than humans that lived in the cities, that if they constantly clean themselves which is unfortunately not the case.
The only difference between them and humans is that savages lived in the mountains and constantly tempered themselves by fighting monsters day after day.
Kei who was reincarnated as a savage child immediately learned to adapt to the ways of savages in order to survive until one day when he was only 5 he discovered that he possessed power probably even greater than the gods of this world.
In a short time Kei became strong, despite the lack of a blessing, though not physically but magically.
After reaching the age of 10 Kei decided to go on a journey and leave the tribe which the village chief didn't allow because Kei is the best next chief candidate of the tribe.
He can use overpowered magic, heal people, cure sickness and even revive the dead.
Unfortunately, Kei doesn't really have much of an attachment to the tribe because when he was young, he was constantly being bullied due to his frail and weak stature.
He ain't Naruto who would ignore and endure the constant abuse.
And never once did he receive a helping hand from the others.
In fact he loathed the village and if it weren't for the bit of gratitude he had for the unknown savage woman who gave birth to him Kei might have wiped the savage village out from the face of the world.
He also tried changing their ways, but the savages are literally blockheads who didn't understand reason and none of them have the slightest common sense.
In order to leave the village without the need to wipe everyone out Kei defeated the chief in a duel.
However, after doing so the village chief resigned from his position and proclaimed Kei to be the new village chief but why would Kei play along with such bullshit.
Kei as the new village chief announced that whoever defeats the former village chief will become the new village chief.
Saying, so Kei left as chaos ensue the former village chief was chased around by the challengers aiming for the position.
Being a village chief in a savage tribe is no different from living a life of debauchery.
You'll have all the women at your beck and call but Kei ain't into that.
Even though some of the savage women are more attractive than the Waifu's in his mind Kei won't dare exchange his beloved Waifu's for a bunch of completely brainless monkeys who only know how to eat and raw meat at that, kill and have sex.
Kei is more into romance, though he planned to have a harem.
No one is entitled to judge him after he has survived the life of a savage.

Her expression was never changing remaining the same.
But after seeing his expression the woman raised her eyebrows questioningly.
"You're already done signing all the papers?"
She asked him, which he replied with a nod.
They both stood up from their seats her hands extending to him for a handshake which Kei took.

Kei decided to introduce himself with his former life's name.
Being a half spiritual entity a name is something significant but right now, Kei looks no different from a human, and it be very strange to not give out his name.
Though his appearance isn't really that of a human.
He is more like those divine beings acting as mortals or whatever walking the streets seeking enjoyment.
"I'm Rose."
She introduced herself back in the same stoic demeanor.
After that, they parted ways and Kei left the guild without any problems except for some trifles who began following him right after he exited the building.
"I'm curious. So tell me, are you guys overconfident in your abilities or are you guys just a bunch of idiots."
He utters in annoyance to the group of adventurers tailing him.

Before the man who seems to be the leader of the group can finish his words the world around them warps.
They find themselves standing atop a clear, calm and gorgeous blue ocean.
Yet the moment they shifted their gaze overhead they were greeted by a terrifying sight.
Countless pristine gigantic vibrant golden eyes we're looking down at them giving them the creeps.

The group of level 1 and 2 adventurer thieves didn't even last a full ten seconds before they succumbed to madness.
Kei then used [Subsume] onto them a skill he had created using [Skill Creation] when he was trying to recreate Rimuru's [Predator].
The reason why the thieves tried to rob him was due to his eye-catching equipment he personally creates using [Material Creation] an instinct skill of his Demonoid race.
His equipment looks no different from any known first class equipment in the city but in truth they're legendary class equipment in the standards of Cardinal World, a thoroughly different class compared to mere first class.
They also thought of Kei as nothing but a noble trying to become an adventurer not knowing that even if the 'King' were to personally come after him he wouldn't be enough to restrain him.
No one can connect him to the missing adventurers as there were no witnesses, after all Kei killed them inside his domain a realm projected using his mindscape similar to a reality marble in Nasuverse.
Moreover, unlike the mortals of the world of Genkai, Kei is perfectly immune to the gods' perception due to his [Perfect Concealment].
And even if they could connect the missing adventurers to him Kei doesn't give a damn.
Kei left the now silent alley as he walked through the busy streets of Orario.

Kei, when he was 10, encountered a level 1 adventurer that tried to rob him.
Kei killed the person and was able to analyze the gods blessing on his back.
Kei finds out that gods blessing is similar but at the same time wholly different from how naming works in the Cardinal World.
Instead of forming a connection to the one who granted them a blessing the blessed will instead establish a connection to heaven the place of origin of gods, though the god that blessed them will still possess a bit of influence on them.
Those who received Falna will then be able to slowly grow their parameters as their souls grow bit by bit from receiving Excelia after slaying monsters and achieving great feats slowly allowing them to reach the realm of gods.
Blessed people are able to perform low reality warping feats ignoring the very laws of physics as they ascend the levels.
Kei recreated his own blessing that is compatible and can perfectly sync with a god's blessing.
After entering the dungeon city of Orario Kei planned to join a Familia.
But right now, Kei is still undecided on what Familia to join in.
