I fell asleep almost immediately after getting back into my apartment around 2pm, and miraculously sleeping for 15+ hours until the next day.

Splendid, with the new lockdown, I only have to attend school from home. The school provides all students with a personal laptop for online lessons. However today, my schedule is completely free from lesson. So let me research on why am I here.

Apparently this "Kyoto" shares a shocking resemblance to Kyoto that I came from, I wouldn't even be surprised if everyone here was the same. But I'm not sure if any of them remembers the old "Shiki".

But strange.... I never did hear about a high school being named "Xiao Ming"

It seems that there is no difference for now, except the drug store that I went to yesterday. The basement was entirely different.

And now with the lockdown.... I have to play a bit safer because people are starting to put on masks and are isolating themselves at home. It's a bit hard to infect new people

This is crazy though... FOV-2 is nearing 350 thousand infections, what a madlad

I wonder what evolutions he must have in order to infect at light speed

Apparently FOV-2 has already spread to every South-East Asia continent except Indonesia at a mind blowing rate. Even China has news of some new recent infections but nothing has been heard from the Americas.

Although I missed it before... The leaderboards ranking do not actually show the entire worlds disease population but only the ones that originate in Japan, meaning FOV-2 is actually the representing virus from Japan. In fact I'm not even sure if it is the entirety of Japan or just Kyoto that is shown on the leaderboards.

But for now, it says I need to get 100000 infections before I can access the global leaderboards option

And recently, a new function had been unlocked for me known as "depositing". It's something like trading DNA points for a deposit into my bank account.

Roughly 1 DNA Point per 1000 Yen (9$ USD)

It was very useful, I was going to run out of supplies soon enough.

The radar that was used earlier for searching the drug store also had an additional purpose of displaying where my infected were on the map with a green dot.

Black dots would signify those that have recovered already, meaning they have generally gained a stronger immunity system against "black" but that doesn't mean that they will be immune forever.

Taking out a bag of chips and a bottle of coke, I began to wolf down both. It had been way too long since I've eaten junk food, it was amazing

My floor was littered with leftover crumbs of chips and a few bottles of coke every here and there. And so, then began the packing of the room.

Now I'm starting to get how this works, I used to play a game similar to what I am currently in. I think it was something like Virus .Inc?

Well I should probably start making dinner it's already getting a little late and I should put those groceries I bought to use.

I also bought extra stuff from the convenience store

I pour about a cup of rice into a pot with water and let it boil for around 15 minutes. Now if only I had a rice cooker this would be so much easier to make and also taste better

I crack some eggs onto a pan stir-fry them and put them aside after seasoning them with pepper

And sizzle some bacon and ....
