62 Ch 61: Late again.

Nekra arrives at Tempest to see all the monsters asleep.

"Yuki, what happened?" Nekra asks

"Rimuru decided to use the souls of the invading army to bring her secretary back to life." Yuki says

Nekra suddenly looks into the forest.

"Nya, you can come out." Nekra says as the future demon Diablo comes out from the forest.

"So auntie Rimuru summoned an arch demon nya?" Nekra says

"The slime girl was your aunt?" The arc demon asks alittle surprised.

"It's been awhile since I have seen a "harvest festival." Yuki says

"I think the last one was ours, we harvested the souls of an army invading our dungeon." Yuki says

"Nya, 12000 peasants 700 knights about 2300 adventures were all destroyed nya." Nekra says

"I think we let the mercenaries run." Yuki says which receives a nod from Nekra.

"Yuki I wanna make them pay, they hurt Safi." Nekra says holding the small mechanical dragon in her hands.

"I believe the back line retreated." Yuki says

"Nya? Really?" Nekra asks as she suddenly stomps on the ground.

The arc demon watches in amazement as an entire army of golems get summoned in formation.

"Search and destroy nya." Nekra says

Looking a Yuki.

"Ah right they ran that way." Yuki says pointing in the direction of the invading kingdom.

Nekra looks at the golems who start marching in that direction at full speed.

"What happens when they hit the kingdom itself?" The arch demon asks

"They will March towards the capital and make them aware of their imminent demise nya." Nekra says her blood red eyes glowing.

Cannon fodder Keith's POV a low rank noble that was sent by his father to get some war experience.

"It was supposed to be an easy subjugation a show of force the church was supporting us." Keith says as he huddles over by a tree.

"You think it's bad? I was at the front with the other mercenaries." A dying man says leaning against a tree clutching a wound to his gut.

"How are you alive?" Keith asks shocked.

"I don't really know myself. My friend next to me literally exploded. A piece of his armor went through me and I think is stuck inside of me.*cough*" he says before he coughs out blood.

"What was it? I didn't even see what hit us it almost seem like stray magic. Well besides the initial explosion." Keith says sitting down.

"She... that thing, it's was leaking so much magic power it would kill you if you stood to close. Several people tried to play dead. She knew and she killed them all bruta." He starts to say but is cut off.

Keith looks to his left to see the dead mercenary.

"It was 165,000 vs 10,000 yet he is saying a single monster did this." Keith mutters as screams can be heard in the distance.

"Shit are they chasing?" Keith mutters as he scrambles up the tree.

Suddenly a squad of golems emerge from the bushes before poking the dead mercenary with a spear before nodding.

Another one gives a hand signal as they disappear.

"Oh thank goodness I lived." Keith mutters.

"Oh? You think so?" A voice says from behind Keith before it all goes dark.

"Yuki nya?" Nekra asks

"Hmm?" Yuki asks

"Can I have a lap pillow?" Nekra asks if everyone else is asleep of course she's gonna sleep.

Yuki nods and sits down.

Nekra lays down in her lap holding safi to her chest and purrs when Yuki pets her.
