Transfer Student
After speaking with Hob Tatsuya sighs while walking up the stairs to his room. Before entering the room he stops and thinks to himself-
"Wait... Magic Academy... which means I can train there...No need to go anywhere to train...Oh right! I have to thank Yavia!"
Then he puts the key in the door and enters Yavia's shop.
"Welcome, Ryokai... I take it that you've accomplished your mission."
"Well, yeah! Thanks to you... I came here to thank you properly..." and he smiles while thanking her.
"If you really want to thank me then... buy this limited edition mini black hole creating sword! I just finished making it now! Only for 9,000 del!"
"9... Thousand?! I think I shouldn't have come here after all." says Tatsuya and sighs.
"I'll buy it..."
"Oh really?! Ryokai now maybe you'll be able to get a bride..."
"Are we really talking about that again...?! Well, I can't pay you the whole thing now. I only have 5,000 on me right now... So can you wait for till I bring the rest..." and he pleads to her.
"Well, just because it's you Ryokai... I don't really allow people to pay but because it's you..."
Just when Tatsuya starts to look happy she says-
"You can pay the 5,000 right now and the rest of it later!" and she smiles at him.
Once again Tatsuya empties his bag of del while weeping. He takes the sword and puts it in the scabbard on his waist. While leaving the shop he says-
"Take care... I'll be back later." And closes the door.
After a while Yavia keeps her newspaper down and says-
"Youngsters shouldn't poke their noses in other people's businesses...!"
Tatsuya reaches back to his room's door and after removing the key he opens the door. When he looks inside he sees that the room had been tidied and it looked nothing like before.
"Did Hob know? No, not possible... Could it be?"
All of them were relaxing in the room. Tatsuya takes off the sword off his back and keeps it near the cupboard. He then opens the cupboard and sees that all the money he owned was there. He looked relieved while closing the cupboard.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing much... I got an invitation to join the Magic Academy."
"... HUH?!" the three of them shout out.
"My ears! Why are you making such a big deal out of it?"
"He's an idiot."
"More idiotic than me."
"Surely an idiot would only say that."
Both Kei and Tatsuya look confused and then they formally introduce themselves.
"We haven't formally introduced ourselves yet... I'm Sylvie Greamont, it's my third year in that academy and my magic class is B."
"I'm Kirio Pinepelt... third year, magic class is B."
"I'm Elm Greamont, Same as the other two."
"Wait... are you and Sylvie related?"
"Yeah, we are..."
"He's my fiancé."
"What are you telling them Sylvie-nee?"
"Are you embarrassed? Tell me. C'mon!"
"Why are you so useless and irritating?" and Elm sighs.
Tatsuya then looks like he had grasped the situation and he says-
"I know what it is... unrequited love! Am I wrong Elm?"
"Definitely not! You really thought she wasn't joking?"
"..." Tatsuya turns his head sideways and stares at the wall.
"Well whatever... I guess now you'll be my Kohai (junior)! Now on call us Senpai (Senior)!"
"Yes... First of all, I haven't decided if I should accept this invitation or not."
"Why though?"
"There's no sender's name on this letter... And it seems suspicious... very suspicious..."
"Ok. Well then we'll be taking our leave... And if you are joining the academy drop by our class or dorm rooms once in a while."
"Ok then! Tatsuya-san see you later!" and all the three leave the room and close the door.
Kei sits on Tatsuya's bed next to him and says-
"Ryo-nii!"
"What is it?"
"I want to learn magic!"
"No... You're too young for that Kei."
"I'm big now! I can also protect Ryo-nii!" says Kei while standing on the bed with her hands on her hips.
"Alright! Before we do that let's go and eat shall we?"
"Okay!"
They leave the room after taking enough money for the food and head downstairs.
"Hob-san! Bring us the best food you've got here!"
"Got it!"
They go and sit on an empty table. Kei starts to become impatient after some time and says-
"Ryo-nii..." as her stomach growls.
"Just wait for a bit. He said that he'll bring it."
While they were talking the door of the shop opens and a lady comes inside. Freda greets her and shows her to an empty table but she says-
"It's ok! I'll sit there." Says the lady while pointing at Tatsuya's table.
"Ok...?"
She goes to his table and when she pulls the chair to sit down Tatsuya accidently kicks the chair and she falls.
"Ow!"
"Hm...? Oh there was someone here? I'm sorry." Says Tatsuya while extending his hand offering help.
"Don't worry... It's not a big deal."
When she takes his hand and looks at his face to thank him he leaves her hand and she falls once again.
"Why... why would you do that?" says the girl with teary eyes.
"You're an idiot..." then he helps her get up and speaks slowly, "Why do you come here always you stupid queen?"
"Hehehe... I was bored in the castle so I thought I'll come to you since its fun with Kei-chan and you."
He smacks her on her head and says with an intimidating face-
"You better not cry! Do you get me?!"
"Yes..." says the queen while holding back her tears.
"Go on... order what you want."
"Really?" she says as her eyes sparkle.
"But keep a limit to..." before he could complete finishing is sentence she orders the most expensive food on the menu along worth the most expensive juice.
The food reaches their table after a while. Tatsuya sighs as he gives 100 del to Hob.
"Eat up Kei. No need to hold back... And you..."
Before he said anything she started to eat. Tatsuya also starts to eat. While eating suddenly the queen asks him-
"I hope that you'll accept the invitation."
"Invitation? Oh, so you were the one who sent it after all..."
"I didn't write it... Celestine did!"
"Heh~"
"So are you joining?"
"Shut up! Just keep hoping for the time being... I'll accept it if I feel like it."
"Oh, is that so?"
Kei then looks at him with puppy eyes from the other end of the table. Tatsuya then feels bad after saying that then he says-
"Maybe..."
"Maybe you'll accept it?"
"Yeah..."
After their conversation she grins and when Tatsuya looks at her she stops grinning. They finish eating and Tatsuya gets up and while holding the queen by her collar and dragging her he says-
"Let's take you home now, shall we? Kei come with me..."
"No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! You traitor!"
"Huh?! Traitor? When did I ever become your accomplice?! Shut up and come with me.... Wait!"
Then he exits the shop with Kei and the queen and looks at the window of his room. Then he raises his hand and says-
"The time limit shouldn't have run out... Levitate!"
Since the windows were open the sword comes levitating outside the window into his hands. Then he puts the sword on his back and they continue walking towards the palace.

He enters the place while dragging the queen and walks through those long halls once again... while dragging her.
"Look at that!"
"How is the queen being treated?!"
"He has to be executed for this!"
Tatsuya continues to walk while ignoring the nobles. The queen keeps staring at his bored looking face.
"You may call me Alicia from now on." Says the queen when they reach the door to the throne room.
"Huh? Why should I?"
"Think of it as an honour."
"Shut up and don't try escaping this time."
"Yes..."
Before they enter the throne room the queen gets up and marches into the room.
"Is that weird old man there?"
"Yes... That pervert... Do you want to try this time?"
"Can I?!"
"Why not... I wanted to see your magic anyways..."
"Alright...." Tatsuya then walks into the room and he says while pointing his finger at the queen, "Borrow!" and obtains her magic.
"What? What did you do?"
"Hm. Just watch and you'll know!"
Then he holds his hand like a knife and gets ready to use it. Then he notices the aura fluctuation near one of the pillars near the windows. He then fiercely swings his hand in the direction of the pillar. Then after a few seconds the whole wall and the pillars along with the windows get destroyed.
Goro then comes out from behind one of the pillars on the other side. He looks at the destroyed part of the room and says-
"Oye boy!"
"Hm?"
"ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME?!"
"Wait, but that's my magic... How did you?"
"You'll get back your magic in maybe 20 minutes. Sorry about that. I don't have long-ranged magic..."
Goro then walks to Tatsuya and ask him-
"What's your name boy?"
"Tatsuya Ryo."
"So you're from Japan..."
"Wait! How do you know about Japan?"
"I'll give you all the details later..." and he walks to the queen before leaving and says, "He can become stronger than you in few years. Better watch out!"
"Yes, Gorilla-san!"
"This is the hundredth time I'm reminding you that it's Goro!" and he exits the door.
"So... You do you know where the academy is?"
"The academy? Look below from there."
He walks over to the destroyed area and looks that there were few buildings and open spaces and some other places with flowers. Also, he saw many people of his age on the open ground. Some practicing magic spells some studying, some talking.
"Wow! Gotta hand down to you nobles...You do know where to spend your money."
"So are you joining or not?"
"Can I look around the academy with Kei before deciding that?"
"Yes. Why not?"
"One thing before I leave. Is it really okay for a commoner to go to an academy where nobles go to?"
"Well, everyone is allowed to come here... But there are some people who don't agree with this idea..."
"Thought so."
Tatsuya then holds Kei's hand and as they walk out of the door he stops and looks behind. Then he stares at the queen for a few seconds and then asks-
"How do I get there again?"
The queen sighs and tells him the way to reach the academy.

Tatsuya steps onto the lawn and looks above. Then he yawns and says-
"Is it just me or is it too relaxing here."
"Ryo-nii are you tired?"
"Well, yeah... This sword weighs a lot." And he kneels down while sweating.
"Are you okay Ryo-nii?!"
"Yeah, I'm fine. Let's look around..." and they continue to explore the academy.
They come across some students who were practicing the spell 'Thunderbolt'. He observes them with Kei from a distance. Some other students who were passing by saw them two and started saying-
"That's so suspicious."
"You think he's some pervert?"
"No, I don't think so. I mean who comes with their sister to ogle at girls?"
"I can hear them aloud. These guys don't even try to talk softly... Let's go Kei."
"Ryo-nii look!"
Tatsuya turns towards the girls practicing some spell-
"Ok. Here goes! Heed my call oh clouds that pour rain make thunder fall, Thunderbolt!" and a really strong thunderbolt comes out of the hands of that girl.
"Come forth...and burn everything in your path, dragon breath!" and a powerful stream of fire comes out of her hand. Just before the two attacks clash the third girl stands right in front of the attacks and says-
"Catalyst magic: shrines of death and life" and a crack appears when the two attacks clash with each other.
Then the third girl takes a deep breath and says-
"Now for phase two... use it again you guys."
The both of them use the same attack and before they clash she says-
"Catalyst magic: Void" and after they clash the crack starts to open slowly.
"Can we really do this Nel?"
"Don't worry! I've got this didn't I tell you?"
"Are you sure though that it will work this time?"
"I said that it will... come on believe me a little!"
They do it a third time but this time they aimed it directly at the girl with catalyst magic.
"Phase 3... Catalyst magic: Conversion" and the attacks that hit her doesn't damage her but she starts to glow. Then she holds her hand together and holds it in front of the opening crack in the air. The glow starts to flow into the slowly opening crack. Suddenly the crack widens all of a sudden and she falls on the ground out of exhaustion.
"There...Fusion magic: Gate"
Kei's eyes were sparkling with excitement after seeing that. Tatsuya was surprised on seeing their magic as well. The other two girls go to the girl with catalyst magic and say-
"We finally did it!"
"It was a success!"
"What... did I tell you two?!" and the girls start to smile.
After few seconds, the gate they had created starts to behave weirdly. It starts to expand at a rapid rate. When they looked at the soil...
"What is this?!"
"This wasn't supposed to happen right?! Nel?!"
The girl whom they were asking this looked horrified and it looked like they were going to die if nothing was done soon.
"Kei... Don't move from here." Says Tatsuya as he holds the buster sword on his back.
"O-okay..." says Kei worriedly.
Tatsuya then leaps towards the expanding gate grabs the sword in his hand with all his strength and cuts the gate in half. After cutting the gate the sword comes in contact with the ground and the ground splits into two from the impact. Since the sword was very heavy the gate couldn't handle the pressure of the sword and splits and disappears... Well, the same thing happened with the ground.
The impact was so powerful that the ground split up to few meters in front of his eyes.
"You've got to be kidding me....!" says Tatsuya as he looks at the damage caused by his sword.
The other two girls also sit on the ground and start to wail while hugging the third girl. He looks behind and sees them crying. He thinks that he did something so he apologizes and puts the big buster sword back onto his back and starts to run with Kei into the Academy's main building.
"Ryo-nii!"
"Not now Kei!"
"You were so awesome!!!"
"I know right...? Now 's not the time!" and they continue to run through the halls and skip few classrooms. After reaching the other end of the hall they get worn out and Tatsuya says-
"I don't know why they started crying... It's good we escaped though."
"Ryo-nii... That was so awesome! You did this with that sword and did that." Says Kei as she tries to imitate Tatsuya.
After a while a female teacher with glasses come there and when she looks at the view of the ground all she could do is be shocked-
"What in the world? What monster was here to do such destruction... girls are you alright?"
"Yes...Mrs. Venteau."
"What happened here?"
"We were trying to create a new spell but we failed."
"And some guy destroyed the gate along with... the ground."
"The ground as well?! Who could he be?"
"I failed again... Looks like some changes have to be made to the phases. Hmm... Alright! I'll get back to work then..." and she rushes into the main academy building.
"You think Nel is alright?"
"I don't know... She's failed quite a few times."
"Yeah... I'm starting to feel worried about her."
Tatsuya walks on the second floor of the building and sees few classrooms. The walk by those classrooms. Kei looks like she was having fun. Then after the third floor exploration they go to the cafeteria on the first floor and Tatsuya realizes that there were two cafeterias. One that served ...the commoner's food and the other served nobles' food.
They walk over to see what they could buy and it reminded him of his old world's high school.
"Are you hungry, Kei?"
"No. I'm full right now..."
"It's ok. I just asked."
The crowd was just starting to form in the cafeteria. He couldn't make out who were commoners and who were nobles since some good mannered students were sitting in the commoner food serving cafeteria.
"Hmm... It doesn't look so weird.��
"What doesn't?"
"The Academy... it doesn't have any discrimination. It's a good thing." After he says this he turns around to see a blonde haired beautiful girl wearing the school uniform.
"Umm... Who might you be?"
"I'm Iris Wyver... the sister of the queen..."
"You're that idiotic queen sister... I get it... Wait, sister?!"
"Yes, I'm her little sister."
"Please forgive me. I didn't know that. I mean you are so much well mannered than you sister... Anyways, please forgive me." Says Tatsuya and makes a run for it with Kei.
"Who was that? Doesn't matter... Time to have a beef bowl! Yay!"
Tatsuya reaches outside in a place where different varieties of flowers were growing.
"What is wrong with this academy...? From some time now, I've only been running into dangerous things... What's this? Tea party?" says Tatsuya while looking at some students have tea and sweets and laughing and talking.
"And then what did that boy tell you?"
"Nothing much... He turned tail and ran away."
"My, my."
"I'd better get away from here before something happens again..." Just when Tatsuya turns around he realizes that Kei was not with him anymore.
"Hm? Kei... Where did she go?"
By the time he realized where she was it was too late. Kei got enticed by the sweets and had already reached their table.
"And who might you be?"
"Oh my! She's so pretty!"
"I want to take her home..."
"Macaroon..." says Kei as she drools a bit.
"Please do have this. Come sit here." Says the blue frilly haired girl as she stares and smiles at Kei looking weirdly.
Kei sits on her lap and starts to eat the macaroon while the other girls just smile and laugh on seeing her eat it.
"You haven't told us your name yet..."
"Ryo-nii told me to not tell strangers about ourselves."
"Oh! She has a brother as well... He might be handsome as well, don't you all think?"
"Alright miss! I'm Luna Grenver."
"I'm Tatsuya Kei."
"Kei? Is that so... That's a pretty name." and Kei continues eating the macaroon while sitting on her lap.
The expression of the girl named Luna starts to change and she looked like some pervert enjoying it. Tatsuya gets alarmed by her face and walks over to their table.
"Kei... Let's go."
"Coming!" and she gets down from her lap. As soon as she does her expression changes and she looks a bit angry.
She gets up from her seat and asks him before looking at his face-
"Who dare interrupt me!" and when she looks at his face she blushes a bit and sits down.
"I see.... You're her brother!"
"Well, yeah."
"Handsome."
"Called it."
"I'm in love."
Tatsuya was getting a little scared on hearing then say such things and he says softly-
"Scary."
Then he says-
"Ok then! I'll leave now." Picks up Kei and starts to sprint.
"Please wait... and have tea... who are they? New students?"
"At this time of the year? That's a little strange."
"Now that you mention it."
"Let's find out who they are everyone!"
"Yeah~!" say all of the girls on the table.
It had already become evening by then. Tatsuya explored the whole place but most of the time he had to run.
"It's so weird. All these weird things are only happening to us... Oh! The dorms are left."
"Ryo-nii..." says Kei and yawns.
"Yea we'll stay here for today. Want to sleep on my back?"
Kei nods her head and Tatsuya lifts her and carries her on his back. She sleeps off. After walking for a while, he reaches the students' dorm.
The dorms were joint but were separated into two sections. The right side was for boys and the left was for girls. He goes to the reception and asks the lady and the man-
"I'm the new student..."
"No need to say anything else. Please take this key and go to your room. You'll be told the rules tomorrow."
"Thanks!" says Tatsuya after receiving the key with the number 303 written on it.
He walks down the hallway and doesn't find his room. He then sees the second floor and climbs up the stairs. Then after walking some more he reaches his room. He opens the door of the room and finds it to be a luxurious suite.
"Is this really a room? These nobles go really far with their money. He puts Kei on the bed and covers her with the blanket.
He then sits on the bed and keeps his stuff on the chair and the sword on the desk.
"Time to sleep! It's been a very hectic day!" says Tatsuya and rolls into the blanket and sleeps next to Kei since it was a King sized bed.
Late in the night Tatsuya with his eyes wide open stares at the ceiling and says-
"As expected. I'm not used to this yet!"
