13 Encounter in forest
POV - Chen Beixuan
'Well, now I am VOID TRIBULATION (VIRTUAL DISASTER) REALM (Layer-1) and so much powerful than average, I should go on an adventure not just be in dungeon and city.'
So I packed my stuff and kept it in my infinite dantian and went towards other city through forest for an adventure.
After walking in the forest for some time I heard a scream of a girl.
I went in the direction of scream. After some time I met a injured girl surrounded by some people. The surrounding people were one girl and 3 boys. The injured girl looked like she was highly poisoned and other were very angry at her and looked like they were going to torcher her. May be they poisoned her.
POV - ???
Today I went to forest with my sister and some other friends to the forest. One of them looked like he was somewhat troubled. I asked him what was troubling him. He answered me that there was nothing troubling him. I thought it was something personal that he didn't want others to know but to think how foolish I was to trust them after getting such a precious herb. How can I forget it is a dog eat dog world.
After we went somewhat deeper in the forest they suddenly attacked me. I immediately understood what they were after. I shouldn't had told my sister about the herb.
I asked "Sister, why did you do it"
She answered "For the herb which you planned to take it completely for yourself"
I responded "You know it will work most efficiently when taken by only one person and and i found it when we were separated in the cave so it is right for me to take it and still you are 4 people, how will you divide it"
She answered "You are dying just give me the herb but as your dying wish I will tell you that we will make 4 parts of herb and combine it with the other herbs we found, its affect will be a little less but still acceptable."
I laughed at it
She responded had you gone crazy after seeing your death approaching.
I answered "You guys want that herb right, I won't let you have it"
I quickly took the herb out of my storage ring and ate i completely before they could do anything.
They were very angry at me seeing it.
She said "ahh, why did you waste it. You know it has very potent poison and without neutralising it one who eats i will die. Even if you want to die with poison you didn't have to eat the herb. You should have asked me, I would feed you the poison with my own hands."
I smiled at her, suddenly poison kicked in and I said weakly "I won"
She said angrily "Before you die of poison I will torture you to death."
POV - Chen Beixuan
As what looks like the angry girl and others were going to torture her I jumped him and killed them with one shot.
I looked at the poisoned girls status and it showed that she will die within 1 minutes because of poison. I don't have a skill to clear other people's poison and heal them as never needed that before and didn't bother creating them and none of the monsters had spells to heal other monsters, they only have attack spells, defence spells, dodge skills and resistances. I should fix it later to acquire more types of skills.
But creating it now will take time and she will be dead before it. If I leave her here it will leave a bad taste in my mouth.
What should I do now.
Yes, I can use Chaotic Body Refining on her. But instead of doing good it might devour her body because of Primordial chaos involved.
Yes, I can devour her with all consumption and recreate her body using Chaotic Body Refining and my hairs and take her in as a battle maid.
In my last life I want to have one but couldn't have.
But how should I ask her, she is not in a state to answer me. I could ask her soul if she agrees after i devoured her.
So i devoured her and gave her soul 2 options one to die and other to leave everything in her life and be reborn as my battle maid.
She agreed to be my battle maid as she said the only family member she had had betrayed her and tried to kill her so she don't have anything to look for in the life.
After that I designed her body to look like Albedo in overlord anime I watched in my previous life. I also changed her race to be same as albedo's. I don't think she will mind. I made her body with primordial chaos as well because I don't want her to be too weak to serve her purpose. She will cultivate primordial chaos only instead of genuine energy. But it is sealed right now to let her new body and soul adapt. She will start with genuine energy and replace it in LIFE AND DEATH (LIMBO) REALM as normal cultivator starts condensing True essence in this realm and it will good for her to replace after she condensed quite a bit of True essence.
After making her new body and combining her soul with it I laid her body on ground and covered it up with a cloth, well I don't want to cover it up as it was a good view but I think I should for now as I don't want to ruin my image when she wakes up. In the meantime I also consumed other peoples bodies.
After some time see woke up and started to looking around and checking her body. She looked a bit drunk, might be due to her first time in this body, it will take few day for her soul to be adapted in the new body. After she saw me she stood up and bowed toward me.
POV - Luo Xiao
After I had set the encounter in motion I waited for them to meet and to see how will he respond to this situation and to test him a little whether he save her or not to plan further encounters.
I expected him to:
1. not save her,
2. couldn't save her and buries or burn her body
3. save her and leave.
4. save her and take her to city.
But when he consumed him like he did to monsters, i was a little surprised as he never killed innocent people till now. Even when he wanted hide skill he specifically searched fo a wicked one. Is he changing so fast?
But after some time he took out a body, it was of a race I had never seen before like some of his monsters.
After looking at the soul of the I knew it was of soul of the girl. So he didn't clear the poison but changed her body. After she stood up and bowed to him i carefully looked at her soul to find a slave contract or something. But i only found something similar to alarm that will inform him if she decide to betray him. Most likely he had reached some short of deal with her soul.
Things are getting interesting. Lets see how special this new race is. And what he will do in future.

Yesterday I was watching Overlord anime again so I didn't write the chapter.
I really liked it first time I watched it so I am watching it again after 2 years. I hope 4th season come soon.
I had already planned how mc's cultivation will progress. It will be interesting. What's left is to type and lengthen the process.
I also dropped the novel I mentioned before as I can't decide what to write more.
I don't think I will ever try to write a novel ever again. Only fanfic. My imagination is limited. I can't imagine like authors.
I might start overlords fanfic with this. I had already thought of starting. It is somewhat different from original. If you want me to write comment it or if I started writing it I will write the title in one of the chapters in future.
