79 Chapter 74 Anime laws

Illya lights up like a fucking magical girl transformation and completely blinds me.

How do people watch those transformations without absolutely MUTILATING their eyes!? I immediately chalk it up to bullshit anime logic and chuck that thought process out the window.

What's even weirder is that even my [Universal Sense] couldn't pierce through the veil of light, preventing me from seeing anything that's happening. "Universal" my ass!

But alas, anime laws are anime laws and I am unable to break them.

The light dies down and in front of me is a small girl with closed eyes.

A loli. Fuck yes.

She has healthy pale skin and platinum-blonde hair. Her black eyelashes flutter open revealing her large ruby pink eyes.

Now, there's some good news and some bad news. The good news is that she's properly wearing clothes.

The bad news is those said clothes is a pink magical girl outfit… no hold on that isn't bad news. But she looks exactly like I hoped she would.

She stares at me for a moment before she slowly looks down at her hands and then moving to the rest of her body. She begins lightly touching various parts like her arms, waist, legs, skirt and so on. Her expression didn't change at all.

But the moment she looked up again back at me, her eyes shine and a smile grace her small lips.

Illyasviel- "ONII-CHAAAAN!!"

She leaps forward and tackles my slime form with open arms. I quickly increase the size of my body and easily catch her.

Rimuru- "I-Illya!?"

Illyasviel- "Fufu, Onii-chan… you're so soft…"

She continues to squeeze the ever-living hell out of me while rubbing her cheeks against me.

After trying to separate her from my body and failing, I just sigh in relief- *Cough!* I mean I just sigh in defeat and accept her actions.

And because she has a body, I can hear her real voice instead of using the World System to talk to me like [Raphael]. She sounds exactly like I thought she would.

*Slam!*

Mikoto- "Rimuru!"

The front door slams open and a worried Mikoto runs through.

Mikoto- "I felt some magicules and then a bright light flashed through the windows…"

Mikoto looks around worriedly, quickly scanning for any hidden presence. Finding no one except a foreign presence nearby a familiar once, she looks in my direction.

Immediately, her eyes narrow and her expression of worry shifts to one of scorn, like she's looking at some new breed of scum.

Mikoto- "… Hentai…"

Saying that she slowly closes the door in front of her.

Ahh… my social life is over…

(A/N: You never had one in the first place, don't worry.)

A while later…

I calmly explain the situation to Mikoto who decides to sit down on the couch opposite of me. I am now in human form. She's no longer looking at me like I'm some shit, but she still has a little suspicion in her eyes.

Rimuru- "… and that's how we ended up alone while I was getting hugged by Illya who appeared out of nowhere in a magical girl costume."

… It's better than it sounds. Trust me.

Mikoto- "*Sigh* Is that so…"

Mikoto sighs while rubbing the bridge of her nose, her bracelet chiming from her movements. She thankfully believes my story and no further drama erupts from this event. Although it DID take a couple of hours to convince her… it didn't help that Illya never let go of my arm throughout the whole conversation, but here we are.

Mikoto looks at Illya and opens her mouth.

Mikoto- "So, Illyasviel, yo-"

Illya- "Call me Illya. I have memories of your interactions with Onii-chan. You don't need to act so distantly."

Come to think of it I've also been calling her Illya without realising it.

Mikoto- "Ok, Illya."

Mikoto replies with a warm smile and continues what she was just saying.

Mikoto- "You're a Manas, correct?"

Illya- "Mmm. A spiritual lifeform, in a way."

Mikoto- "Right, so… why did you appear… like 'that'?"

Mikoto is asking why she appeared as a loli in a magical girl costume since she should have no solid form in the first place.

Illya- "Hmm? But those were Onii-chan's desires though?"

Illya replies to Mikoto's question with an innocent expression, but I immediately break out into a cold sweat.

Fuck.

Mikoto snaps her head in my direction with an 'explain now' look, to which I happily comply.

Rimuru- "Wait wait wait hold on a moment! True, those were my 'desires' in a way. But that's only because I named Illya after a character from my old world! It was simply the desire for her form to take after her!"

After several more minutes of explaining and trying to convince her, Mikoto once again sighs.

Mikoto- "Well, I thought there was a reason behind it. I didn't think you'd be into that sort of stuff."

True. I don't hate it, but it's not like I called myself a magical girl fan in my past life. The only 'Magical Girl' anime I saw was Prisma Illya and that's it.

Mikoto looks at me before shifting her attention to Illya. Or more specifically, her outfit. Then, after staring for a few seconds, her face explodes in a shade of red and she looks down while fidgeting.

Listening closely, you could hear her muttering words under her breath.

Mikoto- "*Whispering* Rimuru… idiot… pervert… you shouldn't ask such things from me…"

Illya and I just nod our heads, both of us having the same thoughts in my head.

So cute…

…

And so I got a Manas who also is my new little sister. That night, Mikoto, Illya and I all slept together.

Don't get me wrong, Mikoto was ready to kill me. No way she would willingly let me sleep with her.

Of course, I had to go into slime form for this and Mikoto only accepted because Illya just so happens to be a masterful user of the puppy eyes technique.

Shizu has a compeditor.

Overnight, Illya fully monopolised me by hugging my slime body with both arms. But after everyone fell asleep, Mikoto ended up hugging me as well in her sleep.

Needless to say, the next morning was quite a wake-up call.

Mikoto- "Kyaaaa!"

*Slap!*

I ended up with a red hand mark on my cheek. Obviously, I took no damage from that slap and it didn't hurt one bit, but anime laws do be like that I guess.

Mikoto apologised with a lap pillow later too.

Worth.

Testing with Illya at the experimental site let me know that she could transform her body into a total of three separate forms. One is her Normal Illya form, the second is her Magical Girl Illya form and the third is her Dress of Heaven form, each one letting her use more of her power than the last.

She spends most of the time in her Normal Illya form. It's the only form that lets her choose what clothes to wear, after all.

Illya- "My other forms are for special occasions, got that?"

She said that while pouting after I asked her why she doesn't spend her time in her other forms.

She also doesn't have access to any of my personal skills except for her own as [Manas: Illyasviel] besides some passive ones like [Universal Sense] and my Resistances. Fortunately, I still have access to [Manas: Illyasviel] although to a lesser degree.

Well, if she temporarily fuses back with me, we can fight to our full potential.

Another weird thing is that her personality is a bit different from the Illya I named her after, both her Kaleid Liner and Stay Night versions. Only a bit. Probably a side effect of her fusion with [Raphael].

Well, this is good. This means she's her own person than just someone from an anime.

Anyway, the day after her 'birth' and her testing session with Mikoto and I, we decided to reveal her to everyone in Avalon in a big announcement.

Rimuru- "So yeah, she's my little sister. Treat her well!"

I say so while standing on a big stage patting Illya's head next to me.

Everyone erupted in roars of cheers and happiness. Illya was embarrassed at the whole ordeal though. Shuna quickly kidnapped her afterwards and I only saw her again later with dead eyes and a bunch of clothes surrounding her.

Rimuru- "… Wot."

Illya- "Onii-chan!"

She jumped at me with teary eyes and clung to my body like a koala.

Shuna came back with more clothes in her arms and starry eyes which caused Illya to hiss at her.

Illya- "Shaaa…"

Rimuru- "Are you a cat…?"

Shuna- "Kyaa~! Illya-sama~!"

As for the town itself, things are quickly changing.

Many monsters throughout the forest not mentioned in the anime have migrated to Avalon. Many humanoid monsters have taken up residence in the newly built residential buildings throughout the town. More nonhuman monsters have taken up residence outside of Avalon.

As a consequence, the magicule density of the area has heavily increased, which will only increase over time. Eventually, the lower-ranked monsters and even humans will be unable to live in such an environment.

So as a solution, I used [Creation] to make an atmospheric-magicule draining device. I dumped it in front of Vesta and told him to figure out how it worked and make more.

Some of you realised that Heaven's Feel disappeared upon the birth of Manas: Illyasviel. I just wanna say that it was a mistake and I just forgot to add it in BUT I'm too lazy to go back and change it.

THEREFORE

I will 'reveal what happened to it' at a later date. I already have a plan in mind.
