67 Chapter 62 A light spar
*BOOM!*
2 months have passed. And right now…
*BOOM!*
Mikoto and Shion are having a spar.
Mikoto- "You're going to have to try harder than that!"
Shion- "Ha! I'm barely using any strength!"
Mikoto- "Yeah right!"
*BOOOM!*
Why are they having a spar? Well, after I gave Mikoto her little power boost, she started to crave a fight to test out her increased strength. Obviously, I can't really give her a good fight since rather than a fight, I would just give her an absolute beat down.
I'm an advocate of gender equality after all. Regardless if she's the woman I love, if we're going to fight, I'm not holding back. She'd better get ready to eat dirt.
Not that she minds getting hurt, to be honest. She's quite tough herself, especially since her physique is getting a lot more resilient due to the magicules running through her body. Now, she can get RKO'D OUTTA NOWHERE and still be fine.
Though, she will hate you. I didn't try this, but call it a gut feeling.
Eventually, I'm sure she can give me a good fight, but for now… she can't really improve herself against an impossible opponent like me. She wanted to fight someone more on her own power level.
And so, while I was getting beaten up by Hakurou, she went to the first person that popped up into her mind.
Anyway, Shion, still looking for something more permanent to do besides causing chaos- *Cough!* besides helping me here and there was a really good choice. And so, after getting asked by Mikoto, Shion was more than happy to swing her sword around some more.
They both love a good challenge… what a good match they are.
Wait, Mikoto isn't going to get stolen away from me by Shion, is she!? B-but Mikoto x Shion yuri…

And so, every day, they fought in the experimental zone.
Now, as for who is stronger…
I honestly don't know. Which is surprising.
Normally, I would say Mikoto is stronger without a shadow of a doubt. This isn't due to favouritism… ok, maybe just a little… But regardless, Shion herself can put up a good fight herself. I completely underestimated her physical strength.
No, seriously. She can split the ground over 10 meters deep and a couple of dozen meters long with just a casual swing of her sword. Her weapon itself is something made by Kurobe, so it's bound to be strong in its own right. Couple those factors with her monstrous magicule capacity second to only Benimaru among the Kijin…
*BOOOOOM!*
She's quite the monster on her own.
I think such things while looking at the area blanketed by a cloud of dust from Shion's recent strike.
*THVIIIIIIIM!!!*
An orange beam of energy penetrates the cloud heading straight towards Shion from behind her. Mikoto's Railgun.
Acting on pure instinct, she tilts her body out of the way just in time as it flies over her before gripping her overly large sword tightly and swinging it over her shoulder in the direction from where the railgun came from.
With just pure physical strength, a storm of wind cuts through the dust cloud, dispersing it from the area in front of her, revealing an empty area.
Shion- "Not here…!?"
From behind her, appearing from the still lingering dust cloud, a figure jumps out and reaches out her hand towards Shion's unguarded back.
Obviously, this is Mikoto.
*Zzzzzttt!!*
An electric shock runs down her arm straight into Shion's body, before making a small electrical explosion sending Shion flying forward a few meters.
Shion, however, flawlessly turns around mid-air and lands on her feet like a cat, sliding to a halt.
Mikoto- "Tch…"
Shion- "You can't win against me like that."
Shion smiles at Mikoto while her back is still releasing steam and the secretary clothes she came to love are ruined.
She gained the [Resist Electricity] skill after her many fights. This skill really limits what Mikoto can do…
Of course, both of them aren't using their full strength. If Mikoto wanted, she could fire off one railgun after the other without pause, not giving a chance for Shion to do anything. Likewise, Shion isn't putting everything into her swings.
Wanting to settle this, Mikoto sighs to herself while injecting magicules into her gekota bracelet accessory.
Mikoto- "I really don't like ending the fight with this, it ruins the fun… well, I don't like losing either…"
A black coin with silver-white markings and a meat bun etched onto it appears in Mikoto's hand. Shion, seeing this, wryly smiles to herself. She's seen this coin many times after all. And each time it appears, she lost.
However, immediately after, she shakes her head and grasps her weapon with both her hands. She raises it above her head while bringing out her magicules. Meanwhile, Mikoto raises her right arm with the coin settles on her finger and thumb while charging it with her magicule infused electricity.
Both of them look a little cool. Standing apart from each other by over 20 meters, Shion has her own violent purple aura from her magicules while Mikoto is surrounded by an electrical storm.
Shion- "Come! I'll make sure to stop it this time!"
Mikoto- "You said that last time!"
Shion- "Well this time I mean it!"
Mikoto- "You also said that last time!"
Shion- "Well this time I REALLY mean it!"
Mikoto- "… Puhu!"
Shion- "Hahaha!"
They look at each other for a while before they both break out in a small laugh.
Mikoto- "Here I come!"
Shion- "Bring it on!"
*THOOOOMMM!!!*
A giant beam of energy almost as large as Mikoto herself shoots out from Mikoto's hand, heading straight towards Shion.
Shion, however, doesn't make any movements to evade it. Instead, she swings her weapon downwards with as much force as she can muster.
They collide.
*BOOOOOOOMMMM!!!*
Shion is fighting against the energy beam, pushing back with all her might. She's slowly getting pushed back, her feet dragging lines in the ground. The railgun beam splits at the point of contact with her sword, making it so the only piece of ground still intact is directly behind her.
However, after successfully holding it back for several seconds…
*Crack!*
Her blade breaks. It just couldn't take the stress.
Shion just makes a reluctant smile and closes her eyes.
*VOOOM!*
The mega railgun hits Shion head-on but immediately disperses as if hitting an invincible object.
Rimuru- "Alright, I think that's enough."
I walk towards them from my position on the sidelines, blowing away all the dust in the area with the wind.
Rimuru- "I know you trusted me, but seriously, if I didn't put up that [Multilayer Barrier] around Shion…"
Shion- "Rimuru-sama!"
Mikoto- "Rimuru!"
Shion immediately drops her broken weapon and leaps at me, pulling me into a hug. As expected, her chest is huge as always. I mean seriously, the anime doesn't do her justice. And they're so soft…
*Spark!*
Oops.
Rimuru- "That was a good fight, both of you. If not for your weapon breaking, I think you would've finally been able to block Mikoto's Railgun this time."
Shion- "I had a feeling I would've been able to block it too. I guess I really should have brought it to Kurobe for maintenance yesterday…"
I just wryly smile to myself, eat the two broken halves of Shion's weapon with [Predator] and fix it before spitting out back out again.
Specifically, I slapped some flex tape on it and the blade immediately mended together. That shit is overpowered…
