Chapter 41 – Ryuju Family

I thought it happened two years ago when I seriously considered making my own security company. At that time, I didn't really know anything about how those worked or where to learn something about those kinds of stuff.

At that time, I wondered what I was thinking, so I came close to her. But in the end, we were just a bunch of elementary school students, so I didn't need be pretending or the like…

I didn't know how Momo knew about this, but after hearing that, she always wanted me to take her seriously.

"Haha… This time… I will win…" Momo said as she was confident of her skill. I didn't want to say it. But just like in the manga, she pretty much likes playing games in school because of her family and not many people around her. She didn't care about the rules and played games in the school. That was why she was confident and would cry if I defeated her hard.

At some point, I wondered if there was another way since she always suspected me when I lost, as if I let her win… Even though, well, I tried my best to look defeated in a close manner.

This means that Momo's intuition was quite good. Anyway, after playing with her for an hour. Finally, I went to a dojo that was built in this massive Yakuza big clan house. I came inside and greeted the person who was already in the dojo sitting in such a serious manner that I could feel an intense aura coming from him.

"Have you finished playing with Momo?" Ryuju asked me.

"Yeah…"

"Hm, Good then… It's been a long time. How about we have some sparring? I want to see the development of my successor!!"

"I'm not your successor! You know!!"

"What are you saying!? I have been teaching you our family's secret martial arts!!"

"There's no way I know that's the secret!!"

"Gugugu… Are you dissatisfied with our Momo? Huh!!!"

"Geez, please don't just engage your granddaughter with someone carelessly!?"

"I do not… do that… I engage her with you. A person I recognize as suitable to continue the Ryuju's martial arts and someone she is close with."

"No, she's just ten. Something like this is too early for her."

Yeah, I was grateful that he taught me martial arts and other stuff too, but this side of him was troublesome.
