11 Chapter 11 – A Bargaining?

"Wow, it's mom's first time acting in a drama. I'm so excited!!" Ruby said those words in such a clearly excited voice.

"Though I'm only playing a small role." Ai replied to Ruby's words while playing with her soft cheek.

Seeing the two people sitting in the back seat getting along so well. Miyako again warned everyone.

"Listen well, you two... I brought you guys along because you guys begged for it... But don't even think about calling Ai your "mom" while we're on the set. Don't forget you're pretending to be MY kids." Miyako's tone of voice strongly emphasizes the word 'MY.' with such a serious face.

But the three of us took advantage of it to throw jokes at her.

"Ok. Ok. Mom, give me a pat on the head." I couldn't help throwing those words, following the manga script, as Ai and Ruby said something too.

The set was a high school, and Ai immediately greeted the staff, including the director of the drama, Gotanda Taishi. To be honest, what happened kind of makes me feel dispirited. I mean, after what I've done. The changes that I made only delayed the events in the manga by one year.

"Well, they're… Come here, Aqua, Ruby… How about you two introduce yourselves to the director?" Miyako called the two of us, and then we stood next to her before introducing ourselves.

"My name is Hoshino Aquamarine, I'd prefer it if you called me Aqua. Nice to meet you."

"My name is Hoshino Ruby, you can call me Ruby. Please meet you."

We introduced ourselves, while I bowed politely. Ruby waved her hand and acted a bit cutely.

"Hm… Oh… I think I know you two… That's famous twins. I think I see you somewhere on television or billboard. Do you two have any interest in acting?" Taishi asked both of us the question.

"I want to become an idol!!" Ruby answered the question with her own dream.

"I actually had a big interest in acting, but I wonder if I will be really good at that…" I answer with my honest feelings.

"Hm… You'd make a good picture on the screen and have a good delivery in advertising. So even though I've seen prodigy child actors quite a few times, you definitely make it."

"Is that so…"

"Here's my business card, gimme a call when you are interested." Taishi gave me his name card while staring at me with such great interest.

To be honest, there are a lot of things I want to talk about with him. But well, he had his own job, and there are Miyako and Ruby nearby.

I left the classroom and lurked around to see the staff doing the set. It feels the same but different, I guess.

Well, it's not like I knew this stuff. Most of my knowledge came from watching videos behind the scenes of famous movies on Youtube.

"Oh, Aqua. What are you doing here?" Taisha asked the question after he saw me lurking around.

"I want to see the shot from close and learn something from it."
