10 Chapter 10 – First Advertisement 02

Well, the living room set would likely be used for our shooting together. As for my own segment, it is still in this room, but we will use just part of it. The room itself used a carpeted floor that looked cozier for a baby to do anything on.

"Is he ready?" The director asked Miyako, who had already changed my clothes to ones that fit with my segment. It's a baby's outfit, but kind of similar with a sporty appearance and a headband in my head too.

"Okay, we will take him to do some exercise." The director said that to me and Miyako. Yeah, my segment actually shows an exclusive baby boy.

Even though people may not think about gender when they want to buy powdered milk. But there's also people who are really conscious of little things like that. That's why my plan with Miyako was to make an advertisement that was exclusive for both genders. My segment is for a boy, while Ruby is for a girl. Even though we're twins with a similar appearance, we had notable differences. Me, who had blue eyes, and Ruby, who had pink eyes. Before we're filming together.

First, they shot me doing a pull-up. Of course, it's just an illusion created by how cameramen take the shot. Actually, I'm only told to stand in some kind of metal shell for a small chair. After that, they shot me, while I was lying on the ground and just moving my legs up and down. Next are stretching, sit-ups, and other leg exercises.

Oh, of course I don't forget to make a cute face and smile. Especially the last two, when I was lifting toys that look like dumbbells and laying on the sofa acting tired by wiping a towel on my forehead.

It was a perfect one… A cute baby tried doing exercise and got tired of it, so he needed a drink. But my segment stopped there. It's time for Ruby to have her own segment, as she is doing more girly stuff than me.

"Oh, she's really good too." I could hear the director comment when he shot Ruby. I myself was being carried by Miyako.

"Yes, this is much easier since usually babies are easy to cry and easily distracted." The staff member talked to the director.

"Ah yeah… I mean, the lights are bright, there's no one around them, and we make sure to be quiet. Also, there's a lot of weird stuff from a baby's perspective… They're cute, but most of the babies are cute after all. The most important thing is that they actually understand what we told them… It just took thre…fourth times faster than usual, baby." The director explained.

"Ah, and they're pretty aware of where the camera was… every time they smile and look. Their eyes are always pointed at the camera." He added.

"Those two are geniuses and have the talent to become actors. But I may be wrong… Okay, the Ruby segment is over… we took the last segment."

People heard what the director said and prepared for the shot. My clothes and Ruby's changed to just usual baby clothing and let the two of us down.

In this segment, we're supposed to just meet each other, walk toward a small table, then give a product, drink it, and dance happily after that. And we're just doing that for 10 minutes, and finally the commercial shoot is over.

"Ahaha… It's really great. I'm maybe not that great, but if you need my help, feel free to contact me…" The director gave his contact information and name to Miyako, who bowed a little.

"Thanks for taking care of our twins." Miyako replied while the director shook his head.

"What are you saying!? These twins make our shot easier and faster. This is such a friendly atmosphere. After all, it's always difficult to take a baby's shot. They're usually crying over a little thing, and the staff could be prepared to suffer from a long commercial shoot. But this time it ended in just an hour."

"Yes…"

"They're really great. If someone I knew needed a baby role for their shoot. I will recommend the twins to them…"

"Ah, We're really grateful for that…" Since Miyako naturally bowed to the director.

With that last word from the director, the three of us returned to our home.

Ruby and I finally talk and walk without others suspecting us. Ruby herself had now evolved into a full-on pathetically spoiled fan. Just like what she did right now…

"Mama!! Mama, gimme a pat!!" She shamelessly asked those to Ai, who was relaxing on the sofa without saying anything to grant her daughter's wishes.

"Haaaa~~ The blissful pure land of amitabha…" She said such stupid words sometimes.

"Such words… I wonder where you learned such a difficult term? That's a whole new level of genius right there… But it must be genetic, right? Ah… Maybe they're learning when theyre shooting…"

But well, I let her go since even though you could say that the three of us lead a peaceful life without Ai suspecting anything from us. The three of us had been busy with ourselves. On the other hand, the two of us also became really famous after that advertisement became a success. Even though there's no one who told us, the number of companies, especially a kid who wanted to work with us just told us everything about the success of those advertisements.

In two years, I don't think there's anyone who knows our faces anymore. I could say that we're already famous… but there's something that makes me a bit uneasy.

I mean, it had been two years with one year left before the tragedy happened to Ai. But to my surprise, the event that made her meet with the director Gotanda Taishi still has not come at all.

No, only about that, none of the three of us actually had an offer from drama or stuff. Especially for Ai. It's weird that despite her popularity, she never had an offer for a small role in a drama.

While on the other hand, I felt a bit conflicted, since isn't that too much of a coincidence with my thinking. Or I just raised a flag out of nowhere.
