168 Chapter 45 The Abyss Arrive

(This...this is gonna be fun.)

I was currently standing on a platform that overlooked the combined forces of both Tempest and Eurazania. All and all, it was quite the sight to behold indeed. Despite this however things were about to get a lot more entertaining, for me anyway.

It was at this point that Rimuru gestured for me to begin my part of all of this. "Suu?"

"One moment please." I smiled mischievously as I cracked my wrists one after the other.

(How big should I make this...?) I wondered before shrugging to myself. (Fuck it, as they say in my old world "go big or go home".)

With that a truly gigantic crack in the sky opened, however it made no sound, not even a whisper and oddly this made it even more eerie to those watching. The damn thing was so massive it stretched across the sky for miles, all the while space itself seemed to bend and warp around it. Once the crack had grown to a suitable size it began to widen until it blocked out the sun that was shining down behind it from view.

"Aren't you going a little overboard?" Rimuru asked with a somewhat bewildered look.

Of course he wasn't the only one who was rather confused as several people spoke up. "Why did you make it so big?"

"What exactly is it you're trying to bring through?"

"Lady Suu, you don't need to show off like this."

"Wait for it..." I muttered causing everyone to quiet down.

The sound of various muffled cries and roars could be heard from beyond the portal pulling everyone's attention towards it. "Huh?" It was then that it began. "What...what the...?"

Everyone was taken aback, not that I really blamed them for that however. The reason for the surprise was the fact that the first thing through the rift was a thirty meter tall and seventy meter long purple dragon with dark violet smoke pouring from all over its body. Shinkusho's new appearance was indeed a surprise, even to me in fact, however it didn't end there, the shock was only going to grow as more time passed.

It wasn't much longer until hundreds of flying monsters followed after him. Gargoyles, blanks, floating ghost ships and many more began to flood out of the abyss in a seemingly endless stream of bodies.

Yet despite all of this, even with their numbers they were all completely overshadowed by the thousands upon thousands of flying insect like creatures that traveled in massive moving swarms of uncountable entities. In fact most people would probably have thought that the flyers of the hive were nothing more than a massive black storm cloud if they hadn't just poured from the abyss a moment ago.

"I...I don't know what I was expecting but...well...it definitely wasn't this..." I heard Benimaru mutter to himself which caused several people to slowly nod their heads in agreement.

While most people were quite flabbergasted by the event some were rather ecstatic to say the least, Yin being one such example. "So many new friends! This is the best day ever!" Yang on the other hand had stayed quiet for most of this but the stars in her eyes gave her away.

"I think the hive has increased in numbers again." I chuckled under my breath, I was enjoying this a little more than I probably should have been but what the hell.

"Those dragons..." I heard Veldora mutter curiously.

"They are abyssal dragons, they're a new species I created with my power over the abyss." I explained causing several people to look at me with interest. "However, if they are enough to surprise you, well, I can't wait for you all to see what is going to come out next."

"Next? W-what's that supposed to mean?" Rimuru asked with a look of disbelief.

"Here it comes now..."

"What do...you...mean...?" He trailed off when he noticed the massive object on the other side of the rift.

Now when I say massive I mean fucking massive, it was probably one of if not the largest living organism on the planet at this moment in time. At first no one could really tell what it actually was but soon that changed relatively quickly. It started as just a somewhat blurry figure that slowly got clearer and clearer as the entity grew closer and closer. Most people had noticed it at this point and the few truly powerful people here could even sense its strength that far surpassed that of Charybdis, a fact that made sense if you consider the sheer amount of black blood that I had used to create it.

Anyway, it didn't take long for the truly colossal entity to exit the portal in all of its magnificence, it took even less time however for people to finally realize what the hell it was they were actually seeing in front of them. Not just Tempest but the whole Great Forest Of Jura seemed to go completely quiet as the law defying creature smothered the world in darkness simply with its very arrival, it was as if night had come early for this small part of the world.

But it didn't stop there however, soon after its arrival thousands of more beings seemed to materialize out of thin air on the ground around the two combined armies. The non-flying abyssal creatures had been teleported down via the use of one of the island's skills, an ability that allowed it to manage and move any being on its surface. However, despite this their presence wasn't really noticed as everyone's attention was pulled upwards towards the thing currently blocking out the sky.

After an extended period of time where the island's massive eye made of hundreds of thousands of black particles just looked around curiously, Rimuru finally managed to speak up. "Suu..."

"Yes~?" I asked while blinking my eyes at him innocently.

"Is that...is that a brotherhood moon?" He asked, however I had no idea what he was talking about.

"A wha?"

(A/N. It was only now that I realized how similar the island was to a brotherhood moon, just smaller of course.)

"It's something from a game...basically that but the size of a moon."

"Oh..." I hummed not really knowing what to say to that.

Anyway, I took a second just to admire the shocked expressions of those around me before returning to my thoughts. (I still need to think of a name for them but that can wait for now, after all, naming something of that size would definitely drain me dry of magicules.)

"Where are we going to need a bigger area for all these newcomers..." Someone said, causing me to snap back to reality.

"I don't think I'll be able to teleport that big...errm...guy?" Rimuru muttered awkwardly as he glanced upwards towards the island.

"Don't worry about that." I hummed as I opened a mass telepathic link. "I got this."

'To everyone who volunteered to join in on this war please gather at the back of the forces that have already assembled. Everyone else, return or stay on the island until you receive further instructions.' As I spoke through the link my subordinates carried out my orders 'Oh, all commanders please come to the front.'

Rimuru asked as he noticed my followers beginning to move. "And what about the island?"

"It won't be coming a long, not it's true self anyway." I explained somewhat cryptically.

He simply sighed at that. "Alright I suppose, let's begin."

As Rimuru began to speak I created a link between myself and the mind of my gargantuan friend. 'Once this is over I'll give you your name.' I explained which earned me a slow but respectful response.

'I...understand...miss...'

With that out of the way I refocused back on the task at hand. I had already spoken to my commanders and explained who exactly would be doing what, Yama and Rai would of course be going with Kaen to the battlefield along with Poe and Shinkusho. However, some of my commanders would be staying behind, Gramps and the hive empress herself being two such examples, I needed them to help manage those who were being left back here after all.

"Anything left to add?" Rimuru asked after giving a small speech.

"I don't really have much to say." I mused as I stepped forward. "Just don't die. If you can capture the enemy, great, however do not risk your own lives for theirs. Kill them if necessary."

I would have just stopped there but paused suddenly when an evil idea popped into my head "There is one exception to this however." I smiled, a smile that was oddly intimidating to those who saw it. "Hey Yama."

"What?" The now massive six meter tall demonic looking Yama muttered, he was apparently still grumpy about not being able to take part in the last battle.

"As you may have heard from Bels, I can revive abyssal creatures from the dead now without much hassle on my part."

"So what?" He hissed, not really understanding what I was getting at.

"You have my permission, my permission to go absolutely ape shit without having to worry about the consequences of death."

(Consider this my revenge for the small part you played in helping Clayman.) My thoughts were directed towards Clayman's forces.

Hearing this, several of my followers turned pale. "Oh no..."

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! NOW THAT'S A FUCKING ORDER!"

With that said things progress once more at a rapid paste. With the army teleported away Rimuru and I began preparing for Walpurgis, however we did have one other issue, Clayman's territory and any forces he may have left behind. Thankfully Shuna and Souei volunteered to deal with it. I ended up also deciding to send Legion along with them, for their safety but also because I wanted to see what exactly he could do.

With that sorted out the wait continued, until... "It seems that they are finally here."

"Yeah..." Rimuru hummed as a door rose up from the ground. "It seems like it."
