Chapter 15 New Look and New skills

"Well...this is different"

My appearance had definitely changed, that was for sure. I wasn't a completely different person mind you but it was enough of a change that anyone who knew me before would definitely notice the difference. The first thing I noticed was, well, my age. I looked a little older now, I had gone from looking like a girl around fifteen years of age to a girl around eighteen or nineteen.

Also of note was the changes to my skin, one of these changes being that it was now far more smoother then it had once been before. The other change was the fact that my skin had become a deathly pale white color. Not to say that it hadn't been pale before, however now it had become even paler to the point that there was barely any color to it at all.

Other than the changes to my age and skin there were also other differences, for example my hair and eyes had also changed rather noticeably. Starting with my hair, it was not only slightly longer than it had once been, now reaching to just below my waist but its color had also changed to some degree as well. My hair was now split in two down the middle, the left side was pure white and the right side was raven black. My eyes on the other hand hadn't changed much, they were still black with white irises, however there were now two notable differences. My irises were now more reptilian or cat-like in appearance, actually they looked kind of similar to Milim's eyes when she used that skill of hers. Anyway, around each of them was a ring that was made up of triangles that were connected to each other in a clockwise position.

Third to last was my backward curving horns. Yes, coming out of the top of my head were two black and white horns that curved backwards to just below the back of my head. The horn on the left was black and the one on the right was white. This actually made them stand out rather clearly among the two segmented halves of my hair. 

Next would be my overall height situation. I had not grown much but I was taller than I had been before. I am still rather short compared to most people mind you but at least I was no longer a midget. And finally...I was still flat as a board, however from the tightness around my back side and waist it would seem that another part of me had grown a little more...much to my annoyance.

"It looks like I'm going to need some new pants...in fact I could probably do with some new clothes all together considering my size change" I grumbled knowing full well that a certain pink haired dragonoid was going to tease the hell out of me the next time we met.

"Sigh...let's just hope that it was all worth it..." I muttered as I took a look around my surroundings and noticed the lack of any dead bodies lining the central area of the town.

(Please let everyone be alive) I thought before  letting out a shaky sigh.

"An-anyway, let's check out what's new in my status" I hummed as I pulled up my status only to be overwhelmed by the information that appeared in front of me.

"That...that's quite a bit of new stuff..." 

I definitely was expecting the massive list that appeared in front of me but I quickly came back to my senses. It didn't take long for me to realize I would probably need some time to go through everything.

"Let's just focus on the most interesting ones for right now" I hummed as I pulled up the information on the skill that interested me the most.

[Law breaker. Listing sub skills:

Anomaly. (The user is not affected by the law of the world, they are also immune to the rules that are  enforced by the voice of the world)

Missing data. (The user can not be tracked or monitored, it is also impossible to analyze or gather information on the user through skills or magic. Note, that this skill only applies to use of magical or skill based means, so physically observing the user from a distance or up close is still very possible)]

[Baldr, Lord Of Joy. Listing sub skills: 

True Tranquility. (The user is capable of releasing an aura that not only calms and heals the minds of those nearby but also helps in the process of calming the user themselves)

Soul's vestige. (The user can place a small fragment of their soul into any being that their soul is connected to. This has two effects, first the user can copy the skills of anyone with one of these fragments so long as they have permission. Second, anyone this skill is used on will gain a kind of force field around themselves that is powdered by the energy of the soul fragments. If the field is destroyed the fragments will go dormant until it can recharge)

A sinner's blight. (The user is covered by a gold vale of power that can be used in a variety of ways. Also of note is that when this skill is active it passively causes all those that are around the user who have sinned or committed a horrible act to be pressured and weakened by an invisible force)

Scarlet ribbons. (Creates several crimson red ribbons that connects and creates a kind of spiritual soul bond between the user and certain other individuals. All those connected by a ribbon are able to sense the others location as well as their conditions, the connection can not be block, severed or tampered with in anyway)

Miracle. (The user is able to bend the laws of reality and space to their will basically allowing them to create something akin to a divine miracle, however using this skill will leave the user completely helpless and unable to use any of their skills for a large period of time)]

[Osiris, Lord Of Souls. Listing sub skills: 

The soul's bastion. (Creates a shield around the soul that protects it from foreign intrusion and as a side effects make it far harder for anyone to copy or steal the users skills)

Well of the damned. (The user can pull in and trap souls within a kind of pocket dimension through the use of phantom chains that have the ability to absorb a person's soul. The user is also capable of modifying and manipulating any souls within the pocket dimension, copying or taking control of them with relative ease)

Born of the void. (The user can create and give souls to other beings or objects. All beings that have been given a soul by the user will be able to resurrect with the users help so long as their soul is not destroyed or trapped in a place that stops them from reaching the user)

Echoes of death. (The user can use this skill to see souls as well as look into the memories of the dead, however the longer that the person in question has been dead for the more fragmented the memories will be)]

[Proteus, Lord Of Form. Listing sub skills: 

Unlimited metamorphosis. (The user can alter the genetic makeup of their own body basically allowing them to alter and transform their body into whatever they so wish)

Hands of Change. (The user can change the physical structure and appearance of anything they come into contact with)

One with many faces. (The user can transform into anyone they make physical contact with, doing so locks all of their own skills making it impossible to use them, however it temporarily allows them to use all the skills possessed by the person they are imitating at the time)

Numberless horde. (The user can copy and replicate themselves or others to create an army of clone, each one of the clones do have access to a small fraction of their original bodies power and abilities)]

[Theia, Lord Of Vision. Listing sub skills: 

All seeing eye. (The user can sense and see everything with in a large radius around themselves making it hard to sneak up or escape from them, however they can also place a marker on someone allowing the user to see and sense what is happening around the marked individual)

True clarity. (The user's vision can not be clouded or altered in any way whatsoever. This means that no matter what happens the user is always aware of their surroundings, so even if time itself stops the user will not be affected as it is impossible to cloud their perception)

Prophecy. (The user can obtain a glimpse into a person's future so long as they are within the user's eyesight. Note, the more energy the user feeds into the skill the farther into the future they can see)

Breaker of deceit. (It is impossible to lie with in the users presence, not only can the user detect any kind of deceit but the person lying will begin to feel an overwhelming sensation of death that will continuously increase until they tell the truth)]

"Well...I'm going to need to do a lot of testing later..." I grumbled to myself thoughtfully.

"Wait a minute, what happened to those guys that I mind controlle-"
