133 Chapter 13 Wrapping Things Up

"Well shit...I'm bored"

I was currently rocking backwards and forwards in my chair while observing the chaos that was still happening within each one of the zones I had created, in fact it had probably only escalated with the passage of time. I had been trying various things over the last two hours or so and thankfully I wasn't missing anything, what I mean by that is that because of how time works here only a few minutes had actually passed out side my skill. Unfortunately however for my captives this wasn't the same for them, thanks to my ability to control time here it had at the very least been several weeks of physical and mental torment.

"I mean come on, you can only watch someone die in so many ways before it starts to get dull" I sighed while stretching out my body.

"I guess that it is time for me to wrap things up here, however that does not mean that I plan to give them a painless death but still..." I hummed thoughtfully as I attempted to figure out how to bring this to an end.

"How should I...oh I know what I should do"

With an idea in mind I quickly got to work on my new and final torture room, I began crafting a new zone that was far bigger then the others and dumping everyone into it. It wasn't hard to create what I wanted, mostly because of the slight help that Great sage was giving me but also because I was getting used to how the mechanics of the skill worked.

What I had planned was rather simple, all things considered anyway, my test subjects were going to "escape" from their prisons, well not really but they don't know that. But anyway, I was going to use my skills to manipulate their minds into thinking that they had somehow managed to miraculously escape from me and just as they get back home, back to those they care and cherish, they will realize what is happening as they are finally put to rest by those very loved ones, slowly of course.

"I'll just let that run in the background while I deal with other things" I muttered as I let out a breath that I'd been holding in for a while now.

"Now, let's get to figuring out just what it is that I am going to do with you" I said while getting to my feet and working over to the man that was still chained to the place that I had left him previously.

I had to admit, I was rather impressed with just how uncaring he was, and sure he had been attempting to break free constantly whenever my back was turned but the sheer numbness that he had towards the suffering of his subordinates was actually kind of impressive in a twisted kind of way.

"You know, I can kind of understand why Falmuth attacked us, maybe even the holy church or whatever the fuck they're called" I sighed as I knelt  down so I was on eye level with him.

"At least they had a reason, a shitty one mind you but still a reason" I wasn't supporting what they had done, not even close but at least I kind of understood why.

"But you, I don't see any clear reason why you would have to attack us...I do have my suspicions mind you but before I get to that...I need to thank you" I look up at the endless darkness above with a rather complicated look as those words left my mouth.

"I need to thank you for kicking me in the ass, I really needed a wake up call if I'm being honest with myself" I smiled softly, all the while still looking upwards into the void.

"Thank you, thank you for helping me find the last vestiges of that little nagging voice in the back of my head, the one constantly telling me that I shouldn't kill, that I should be merciful to everyone I possibly can" I paused as I look back down to meet his eyes.

"So yes, thank you...because now that I've found it, now that I know where it is, well, I've finally shut it the fuck up. Permanently"

"Now then" I clapped as I stood straight and looked down at him unflinchingly.

"About all that information I need, I very much doubt that you'd give it to me willingly and I doubt that you would feel anything just like those other bastards considering just how you've been acting up until this point, so you know what?" I chuckled as my eyes glowed slightly.

"I'm not gonna kill you, even though I really do want to, I really, really do. I will soon have more than enough souls to complete my evolution into a demon lord, so there's honestly no real reason or point in me killing you at the moment" I smiled ominously as I grabbed a hold of his head with one hand.

"Of course I'm still in need of some...help, if you want to put it that way. Anyway, I have various other important matters I need dealing with and I could really use another set of hands in helping with these rather exciting tasks I have planned. I believe that you are possibly the perfect candidate to assist me in these...future endeavors"

"So how about it, do you want to be friends?" I grinned as my grip tightened.

At first nothing really happened at all, however that soon changed when suddenly my hand began to glow a strange dark purplish color that seemed to move in a way that reminded me of a group of hungry snakes. The energy that was now seeping out of my hands slowly pushed its way into his body causing his veins to glow violet through his skin. As this was happening however I noticed that for the first time he seemed to actually show some signs of pain, his eyes grew wide and he began to frash around in a rather futile attempt to break free. To my surprise I did also feel some mental resistance as well but it was easy for me to crush it with my own will.

"Isn't friendship such a beautiful thing?" I asked sarcastically as I removed my hand and watched as the purple glow faded from his face.

"You know I was going to rip the memories out of those Husks I put in the other room but now that we're friends I could just ask you to tell me everything you know about who you are and where, in fact I'm think about make friends with them as well, what do you think about that hmm?"

"You...you may do whatever you wish" he responded in a low voice that sounded almost forced.

"Cool" I smiled at that as I snapped my fingers, causing the group I had stored away to appear not far from us.

It took them all a second to come back to their senses and notice me, however the moment they did the whole group charged me with what looked like the slightest amount of rage in their eyes. I'm guessing they're probably mad about the music I chose, yeah that has to be it.

"What?" I hummed as I quickly grabbed the first one to reach me by the neck, I then used my power to dominate them.

"You guys didn't like the elevator music?" I ask with a calm smile as I begin dominating them one after another while using blink to easily dodge out of the way of their attacks.

"I guess it's true what they say, everyone's a critic" I shrugged as I finished dominating the last one before turning back to the first guy.

"Now then, why don't you fill me in on just why it is that you decided to help Falmuth in their attack on us?"

"Ye-" sadly before he could even spit out the first word he was cut off by a very familiar voice.

[The conditions have been met] the voice of the world suddenly announced out of the blue.

"Huh?"

[The evolution of Suu Tempest into a demon Lord will soon begin]

"Oh? They really all died already? I guess I should have slowed down the time spee-" I stopped myself when a wave of immense exhaustion slammed into my mind making me stumble several feet backwards.

"Wow...I...feel dizzy..."

"This...this is way...way more intense th-then...then I thought it would be..." I muttered as I took a moment to just marvel at the sheer tiredness I was currently feeling.

"Sh-shit...I can't pass...pass out just yet" I gritted my teeth as I stopped myself from falling over.

"I'll just...I'll just...leave...leave them all h-here...yeah...yeah I'll just le-leave them here for...for now...I guess" I breathed heavily as I slowly disabled my skill while also motioning for my newly mind controlled minions to just wait here until I return.

As my domain dropped around me I felt myself beginning to involuntarily transform, not wanting to crush everything around me I attempted, to the best of my ability to decrease my size as much as possible. Thankfully I managed to shrink myself to a manageable size just as my skill finally deactivated fully. Of course this left me standing as a small bird surrounded by thousands of corpses and a small group of idiots standing idly around me with no idea what to do. What a sight it must have been.

"Wh-what the...what the he-heck am I...am I gonna d-do with...with these?" I hummed as I noticed the corpses piled up around me.

"It..it doesn't matter I...I guess...it is so-something else for...for future Suu to de-deal with" I chuckled slightly as I tried to take flight...only to instantly and quite embarrassingly face plant straight into the ground.

"Ow..."

"Y-yep...this isn't...isn't gonna wo-work..." with a huff I shakily created a soul before summoning a large amount of black blood from the abyss.

"This...this should...do...oh fuck...I am...I am not do-doing...doing to good...right now" I had no actual idea what I had created as my vision was incredibly blurry but it looked kind of like a horse, so I just went with that for now.

"Can you ta-take me...take me back to Tem-Tempest...? It's...it's over...over there...I t-think..." I asked while awkwardly gesturing in the direction I assumed home was and after hearing what I guess was an affirmative I almost immediately passed out.

"Th-thank...t-thank you..."
