Mu En smiled at Bi Ji as he moved his hands for a handshake.

" Nice meeting you too, Miss Bi Ji. I am called Mu En. I am known for being a Grandpa."

Bi Ji looked a bit confused at his introduction so, Mu En elaborated.

" You see, I am pretty old and I have a habit to call everyone a kid so those that are close to me just call me Grandpa."

Bi Ji showed an understanding of Mu En's statement by nodding her head.

Three-Headed Scarlet Devil Mastiff growled and said, " How old are you anyway?"

Mu En looked at the three-headed dog and said," Enough to be called an old man by you son."

The three-headed dog scoffed and ignored him.

Mu En stared at Bi Ji for a second before the ever-familiar system prompt appeared.

Mu En mentally clicked the 'Yes' button.

He felt the massive amount of life force inside his body increase by ten-folds. Thankfully, he could use his innate skill to devour his energy and resupply it. When he repeated the process the massive amount of life force did not leak and the Savages of the Star Dou Forest did not notice anything.

Mu En breathed out a long breath in relief.

Bi Ji noticed it and asked showing concern," Are you fine? You seem a bit uncomfortable."

Mu En shook his head as he said " Not at all. Maybe you are mistaken. By the way, you have a very pure life force."

Mu En could see that Bi Ji was indeed a very pure soul like she had been depicted in the novel.

Bi Ji shook her wings as she said with a smile," Indeed. I am an Emerald Swan. We are known for our healing and support abilities. That is why I have a very pure life force."

Mu En made an 'oh' face and looked at Di Tian. But as he did that another prompt came up.

Mu En looked surprised at that but after giving a bit of thought he decided to take it. After all, Di Tian was known as the strongest spirit beast so there was no harm in taking a skill from him.

Mu En knew that this time around he would not be able to suppress a large amount of energy he might be collecting due to the skill. He did not know about it for sure but he did not want to take any chances.

Mu En looked at the Savages around him and said," Some trouble as appeared in my territory. We are not discussing anything important so I will be taking my leave."

Mu En did not wait for replies and instantly flew away.

Though he had a teleportation ability it only had a short range of 100 meters and when travelling to a far place, using the flying ability was the most favoured means of his.

As Mu En left the Savages also did not show courtesy and left one by one. In the end, only Di Tian was left lonely at the centre of the Star Dou Forest.

Mu En could not finish his journey as he crashed down at a hill. He hurriedly devoured his energy but did not resupply them. As he kept devouring his energy, three cores slowly formed themselves in his body.

They were the Three Cores of Di Tian!

But they were changed to suit the needs of Mu En. Di Tian himself had three cores, namely, the Spiritual Dragon Core, Darkness core, and Space Core.

But as they were changed to suit Mu En. They changed to Spirit Core, Demon Core, and Space Core.

The Spirit Core represented the Spiritual energy of his body, while the Demon Core represented all the 'dark' attributes that were comprehended by him. And the Space Core represented the comprehension of the laws of space.

Currently, his demon core consisted of his lightning and darkness attribute. Thankfully, due to the effect of his system, if he comprehended any dark or destruction related laws, they would be integrated into his demon core.

Mu En wiped off his sweat as he managed to contain all that energy. Even though being a spirit beast, one would think they are the friend of the Savages. Mu En would never feel anything like that.

He knew that for his cultivation, a certain worm was tied up, and nearly absorbed to death. And he certainly did not want something like that to happen to him.

So he would always keep a few cards in check so that if they ever try to backstab him, he would thoroughly destroy them.

Mu En dropped down to his home as he looked at Xiao Wu and Xiao Ya playing while Tang San was cultivating. He was proud to call them his grandchildren.

Tang San was very talented. He was of age 12 but already a rank 31 spirit master. While Xiao Wu was rank 32 rank. Though Xiao Wu was a human turned spirit beast, her speed was extremely fast for someone like her.

In simple words, both were very gifted.

Tang San opened his eyes as he saw Mu En come towards the house. He got up and bowed towards him.

" Welcome, Grandpa."

Mu En patted him on the shoulder as he said " No need for such courtesy. Tell me, are you excited to go to school?"

Tang San nodded as he said," Yes Grandpa. I am very thrilled."

Mu En then looked towards Xiao Wu and called her " Xiao Wu, come here."

Xiao Wu came towards him gambolling.

" Yes Old man! What happened?"

Mu En's face became ugly as he said" Call me Grandpa. Show some respect."

Xiao Wu put her tongue out as she said " If I cannot call an old man, old. What should I call you?"

Mu En gave an evil smile that made a cold chill run down Xiao Wu's spine.

Xiao Wu stuttered " Wh-What? W-Why a-are yu-you giv-ving an evil sm-ile?"

The evil smile on Mu En's face widened as he looked at her.

"...Do you want me to become a teacher at Shrek?"
