33 Chapter 3

He sighed and rubbed his butt, " That didn't hurt at all!"

He shook his head left to right and right to left with energy and started moving forward.

" I don't even know where I am going..."

He suddenly halted and looked around.

" I don't know where this place is...I should start by looking around the place of my origin."

He thought for some time while looking around. After some time he was able to deduce where the egg he came from was.

It was at the top of some kind of tree. Looking at the tall tree, he was confused.

" Are spiders so tough? If I were to fall from that height as a human...I would have no chance of survival..."

He claimed up the tree and soon reached the egg.

He took a deep breath as he gazed at the egg.

" How is this even supposed to work? This egg is too big for me! This looks like the egg of some bird...Then again I do not know if this is some kind of magical world... let's see..."

He strode around the egg, trying to look if he could figure something out.

" There is nothing here..."

Just as he said that he noticed small marks on the side of the egg. He narrowed his eyes at this.

He looked down on his own feet and then looked at the marks.

" This...is the marks of my feet. There is no doubt about that..."

He backed up a little and looked at the whole egg. Suddenly a look of realization appeared on his face.

" Shit!"

He turned around to run however just as he did he heard a scary screech.

" Kiyaaaah!"

" No!!! No!!! No!!!! No!!!!!"

He saw a green weird monster flying in his direction. The monster that somehow looked like a bird didn't have a head.

" What in the world is that abomination!? Red Skull looked handsome in comparison..."

Seeing that the bird was too close he gave up running away and took cover behind the egg.

' This egg definitely belongs to this thing!"

The bird that seemed to fly faster than jets in the modern world came to a sudden halt. Its gaze fell on the egg.

" Huh?"

The bird seemed to stagger in the air. It flapped its wings slowly and landed just beside the egg.

" No no no no...my children..."

Joseph felt his heart tighten, he barely stopped himself from screaming.

' This thing can talk?'

The bird raised straightened its neck and gave a shriek of mourn.

" AIYAAAAAH!"

Joseph blocked his ears with his feet.

' This monster is going to make me deaf.'

" Who! Who did this!? Who dares!!?"

The bird screamed with a rage-filled voice.

' I am f*cked this time around!'

Joseph felt his legs turn into noodles from fear. He was not someone who would be afraid of someone no matter what he did. He was not the kind of a person who gets scared easily but for some reason, here he was feeling his legs turn to cooked noodles.

It felt more like instinctual fear.

' Maybe... it's because I am a spider now and this monster is someone above me in the food chain?'

This made his legs even softer. He took a deep breath in and thought to himself ' Since it appears that I have eaten its children in the egg...maybe if I surrender it will take pity seeing my cute figure and let me go?'

The bird flapped its wings with energy and shrieked once again " I dare you to come in front of me! It doesn't matter who you are! Even if you are a child I will make you curse your mother for bringing you to this world!"

Joseph who was halfway up, standing suddenly sat down.

' Alright...that isn't going to work...It won't fall for my cute figure...What a chad...I mean I may die but still what a chad...'

Joseph once again took a deep breath, he shook his head trying to clear it from thoughts of death ' How do I escape?'

The bird was lovingly caressing the egg. It looked very sad, it didn't have a face but its body language showed it was very depressed.

Joseph behind the egg crawled to the edge of the tree and looked below.

' I should be able to survive it like the last time...I am pretty scared to take this jump though...'

Joseph was unsure if he should take this jump, he didn't directly land on the land the last time so he was unsure if he would survive if he were to fall directly on the ground.

His body swung front and back as he was hesitating to make the jump. He had died once and was able to somehow reincarnate but he was not sure about his chances of repeating this feat of reincarnation.

" It was you! You damned spider!"

Suddenly he heard the bird behind him scream.

' I don't have the luxury to take time to make a decision now...'

Thinking that he jumped.

" God please help me survive!"

Joseph screamed as he fell. The bird however didn't give chase.

" Good...run! You better do! I have found you already and I promise you that I will kill you! Run to save your worthless life! Run while you still can! I promise on the empty egg of my child that I will eradicate the spiders from this forest!" The bird cried out.

" Man...I didn't even do anything! It must the owner of this body! I just hope it doesn't escalate too much..."

Alas, his action, unfortunately, started a war in the Star Dou Forest.
