"What about Mysa? Her magic can't be compared to human magic, so what are you going to do about her?" asked Kyrra.

"Well, I could always teach her personal--" Rokkai didn't get to finish that sentence, as he received a deadly glare. He started sweating, before swallowing hard. "I mean I could always recommend someone to teach her. I'm sure Oldavin will agree to teach her…"

"Good! Don't get any ideas! I'm not going to tolerate any more nonsense from the two of you!" snapped Kyrra.

"What do you mean by that? You know very well that she was the one who had feelings for me, and that because of those feelings, she had to seal her memories and regress in age. If she didn't do that, what do you think would have happened?" asked Rokkai, as he swallowed hard.

"I don't really care! Back then, you pretended to ignore her feelings, but in the end, you wanted to take advantage of her!"

"Oh, come on! Do you really think I'm someone like that?"

"Hmpf! Anyway, we have more pressing issues than your relationship with Mysa. Aren't you supposed to be finding the seeds?" Kyrra snorted.

"Aww honey, please don't be angry with me. I never did anything to jeopardize our marriage, you should at least give me the benefit of the doubt."

"Fine! I'll forgive you, but don't get any ideas! As for Mysa, she should stay far away from us!"

"And how do we make sure of that, when she doesn't even remember us?"

Kyrra remained quiet, before saying, "Anyway, the seven seeds?"

"I believe we have two now, including the one who just left", replied Rokkai with a smile.

"Is having them in the same place a good idea? The moment they meet, they'll try to kill each other!" asked Kyrra, with a worried look.

"Don't worry. I'll put them in different classes, after all, they have opposing elements!"

After Reeve and company arrived at the registration hall, they found out that they needed to pay twelve gold coins for just one semester. When they registered successfully and got their robes, Reeve was ecstatic, while Soren was sleepy. Eskaria was confused, while Riza didn't really care. In fact, Riza was more worried about their accommodation issue and their lack of gold.

"What are we going to do now? We have only twenty-five silver coins left. This is not enough to book an inn!" said Riza, after they had left the school.

"Soren, what about your father's friend?" asked Reeve.

"He lives in the inner district. The problem is that no one can just enter the inner district. We need to have various identification papers too, which we don't have currently. As much as I would like to go there, it's not really possible", replied Soren.

"Rizaneth, don't we have any more jewellery? We could sell them and book an inn before we discover a way to make money."

"I do have these necklaces, but I'm sure they only cost fifty silver coins at most. In total, we still need ten silver coins to book two rooms at an inn!" Riza replied.

Reeve sighed. When he left Bernice, he was rich. Now? He was beyond broke. And it wasn't even his fault … partly. A wise person once said, "Most of the misfortunes people face are effects of their decisions." This might not be true general, but if Reeve had decided to stay in Bernice, he wouldn't be so broke. However, it was too late for regrets. He had come this far, and he couldn't quit now. He thought that the god of coincidences was on his side.

"Eh? Are you Emeth's little sister?" a voice asked, prompting everyone to turn around.

The source of the voice was a middle-aged man who had dark brown hair, dark eyes and he was a purple robe, the same one which was worn by professors at Artemine. He was carrying some large books.

"And you might be?" asked Riza.

"I was right! You look really similar", the man chuckled as he drew closer. He answered, "My name is Alvis Roswell. I was a friend of your brother's. How is he? Last time we talked he was talking of joining the Ravesworth guild."

"Eh? Brother? Rizaneth has a brother?" Reeve's eyes widened in surprise. When he was at the Wolfe mansion, no one ever mentioned anything about a brother! He only knew that Riza had a sister called Hesreth. So, what was this thing about a brother?

Riza remained quiet, but her eyes were moist. She couldn't hide the tears that were welling up inside. This caught Reeve off-guard, but then he remembered something. The day before, he had asked Riza if she had been to Artemine before. He remembered that she said she came with someone, but she didn't finish her sentence. She became sad, as if she was recalling something painful.

A few minutes later, Reeve was holding a crying Riza. She seemed like a completely different person. He couldn't believe the tomboy who liked playing pranks on others could be this soft.

"There there… there there …" he started patting her back.

"Umm… Did I say something wrong?" asked Alvis, puzzled. He had simply asked about an old friend when he realized that he had met the friend's sister. What he didn't expect was to see the sister break down in tears. That was completely unexpected.

He asked, "Would you like to come to my house to tell me what happened to him?"

All eyes looked at Riza, who was drying her tears. Silently, she nodded and everyone followed Alvis Roswell to his house. Thanks to this journey, Reeve ended up seeing more of the not really majestic capital of Vyren. There was a market, and various vendors were hawking their wares towards the passing pedestrians.

Someone loudly exclaimed, "THIEF!! That person stole my purse!!"

A few minutes later, various soldiers were chasing a small boy who was running as fast as lightning, if lightning had hands and feet. Nevertheless, the boy was running for his dear life.

Reeve stopped, thinking about what would happen to the boy if he got caught. As if reading Reeve's mind, Alvis said, "That child is always being chased by soldiers every time! Doesn't he ever get tired of stealing?"
