Your Horoscope Says

He stared at the wide expanse of greenery as he sipped his espresso, moments like this were his favourite where he can enjoy few minutes of solitude, few minutes of his life that belongs only to him before he has to start working according to his daily routine once again. After all, being Xu Huang; the eldest son of the richest and the most powerful family of the country is not as easy as it sounds.

Being the eldest one of the current generation and the one whose interest lies in business, earning profits and providing a protective shield to his family especially his siblings, Xu Huang rarely gets time for himself when he can enjoy being Xu Huang, just himself. Life was never easy for him despite the fact that the Xu family is the richest family of the country. The name, the fame, the money and the power that it brought nothing mattered when the said family was just a sham, just a glossy, sparkling veil that covered up the cracks in the relationships.

Though Xu Sheng and Xu Yang were his cousins actually the love between the brothers was unrivalled. The love and care for his siblings came naturally but him but he became more of a father than an elder brother because of how much dysfunctional his family was. He was the one who took care of his siblings along his Grandmother, their parents were too lost to be involved. For his mother and the elder daughter in law of the Xu family preferred money and status over her relationships while his father was almost non-existent as the man was never home.

On the other hand, his Uncle and Aunt - Xu Sheng and Xu Yang's parents were only together in the name. Their marriage was of the political kind where two families came together, marrying their children for the sake of business. It didn't help that his Uncle had numerous affairs, a never-ending list of sexual partners which were mostly ignored by his Aunt as she drowned herself in alcohol.

They were a family in name only; just for the sake of the reputation that they must maintain. As the parents weren't there to raise the kids, their grandmother took their place and Xu Huang being the eldest and the most responsible one took upon himself the job of being a parent-figure for his younger siblings.

Since then nothing was his and his alone, everything that was his, he shared it with his siblings. But just these moments were his where he granted himself the privilege to relax and just do nothing.

"Big B!" Xu Huang smiled hearing the excitement in his little brother's voice. Though he wasn't little anymore, Xu Yang had just turned 23 a month ago. "My darling Big B!" that was how Xu Yang addressed him; Big B - Big Brother.

Xu Yang rushed inside Xu Huang's room holding a newspaper in his hand, followed by Xu Sheng - the middle Xu sibling who was just 3 years younger than Xu Huang and older by 4 years to Xu Yang.

"Good Morning" Xu Huang placed the now empty cup on the table. While Xu Sheng gave him an acknowledging nod, Xu Yang on the other hand just kept grinning widely just like a Cheshire cat. "What happened to him?" Xu Huang asked.

In response, Xu Sheng chuckled, "Yang.." he gestured something with his eyes.

"What's happening guys?" Xu Huang buttoned up his suit jacket.

"Big B hear this out, your horoscope for today. This is so damn interesting that I had to tell you about it." Xu Yang replied. Rolling his eyes Xu Huang adjusted his collar, "Yang you know that I don't believe in this stuff, it's all bullshit."

"Bro, hear it out for once at least." Xu Sheng said, "Yup Big B, you should, this might change your life." Xu Yang added.

"Fine." Xu Huang sighed, "Go ahead, tell me what does my horoscope says."

"Uuuhhmm uuhhmm." Xu Yang cleared his throat and started reading the newspaper imitating a news reporter, "This day is going to be thrilling for you, full of adventure and excitement! Today you will meet a girl in a pink dress, the girl who will change your life forever!"

"What the fuck!" Xu Huang cursed and snorted at the same time, "Do you two really think that will happen? I mean there are numerous people of Capricorn zodiac sign so according to this guy who wrote this horoscope every Capricorn guy is going to meet a girl in a pink dress?! Seriously?" Xu Huang shook his head, "And Sheng, you too? I mean I understand if Yang finds this true but you? I am starting to think that Yang's stupidity is rubbing off you."

Xu Yang huffed in anger, "Big B, it's a girl who wrote this!"

"Seriously Yang? This is how you reason against an argument?!" Xu Haung looked at his brother amused.

Xu Sheng chuckled and placed an arm around Xu Yang's shoulder while he looked at Xu Huang, staring directly into his eyes as he said, "I know this sounds weird but who knows Huang, this might turn out to be true." he then grinned widely as he added, "You are due a girlfriend anyway! I hope that you haven't lost interest in girls, hhmm?"

"You guys are crazy!" Xu Huang said exasperatedly. "Nothing as such will happen."

"Let's see." Xu Sheng and Xu Yang said in unison and smiled.
