3 10 years later... I met-
[Luna's PoV]
"Have you heard? There's a really handsome VIP guest in the meeting room currently!" Whispers of gossips spreaded throughout the office as I walked over to my seat and turned on my laptop.
This year 2030 marks the 10th year since I met Kyle and not to my surprise he did not come find me, not even once. I've been living in a small rented apartment with my friend Rei Yi since that day I got kicked out. Ever since, I've been working part-time to help pay the rent and now I'm working in the same Bank as her (Leafrich Bank). I would say that my life was great over these 10 years and I was glad to be in the same company as her.
"Luna! The Manager called for you to go to the meeting room!" Rei Yi called out to me. "Got it, thanks!" I shut my laptop and headed towards the meeting room.
Knock! Knock! "Come in!" I slowly opened the door and my manager motioned for me to sit down. I nodded and took a seat beside him. "Luna, this is Mr Kouen, our VIP client and guest." My manager introduced him to me. "Hi Mr Kouen, I'm Luna, the leader of the project you are investing in." I bowed slightly. I looked up at saw the glowing features of his smooth face and admired him for awhile. He does look quite handsome. I lightly smiled at him and we started discussing about the project.

I stood up and put my hand forward to shake his hand, "Thank you very much Mr Kouen for investing and trusting us. We would not disappoint you." He nodded and took his leave, leaving my hand still in mid-air. What an arrogant b*tch, if not for your majority investment in this project, neither am I willing to shake you hand. Get off your damn high horse. I bowed slightly to my manager before taking my leave.
I went back to my seat and opened my laptop, checking my emails. Oh, an unknown email username? I clicked onto it, reading it softly: Hey Ms Luna, I wonder if we can meet at Sky Castle Cafe to have a little chat about my investment in this project. Love, Mr Leo Kouen. That's quick, considering that he rejected my friendly little handshake and now requesting me to meet up with him? Mr Leo is it... I'll definitely go and meet you there. Don't you worry. Different types of revenge thoughts flooded through my mind and I picked my favourite one. The embarrassing situation one. I smirked at laughed softly, earning stares from my colleagues around me. "Hey, Rei. I'm meeting Mr Kouen during lunch break. If I'm back late, help me inform the manager. Thanks, I owe you one!" I pleaded Rei with puppy eyes and she agreed hesitantly. "This is the last time I am informing him on behalf of you. Next time, do it yourself or don't go somewhere to far so you would be back on time." I nodded enthusiastically. I carried on with my work after emailing a "ok" as a response to him until lunch break.

I stretched my sore and numb limbs and closed my laptop. "Ahhh finally it's lunch break."
I thought over the plan a few times in my mind whilst driving to Sky Castle Cafe, the most well-known atas cafe in the world where wealthy people would go to, especially not like me.
"Reserved under Mr Kouen." I told the waiter who asked about my reservation, doubting I would be able to afford to come to this high-class cafe. Her taken aback expression when I said his name got her all flustered and anxious. Still, she managed to recompose herself before leading me into the cafe to Mr Kouen's seat. Hmph, at least she can recompose herself. I was once working part-time as a waiter here so, I did not seem so surprise at how atas this unordinary cafe looks. The waiter knocked the door and told him that I was here before tapping her card and allowing me in. She bowed to Mr Koeun and threw me a glare before she left us alone. "You don't look surprise at my seemingly favourite cafe in this city?" He stood up to help pull out my chair for me to seat. It sounded to me more like a statement than a question. "And you are unexpectedly a gentleman, sitting in VVIP waiting patiently for this lady whom you weren't willing to shake hands with." I replied sarcastically, nodding my thanks for helping me pull out my seat.
"So what does this gentleman want to discuss with me at such a place?" I swirled the dark red wine in my glass and looked at the blood-red looking wine swish along the U-shape glass sides. "Oh and you should swirl your wine a little before drinking to allow the wine to come into contact with the air and breathe so it tastes better." I tipped my glass towards him, pointing at his glass touching his beautiful lips. Omg I shouldn't be thinking of such things! I lifted my glass to my lips and sipped the red wine slowly, enjoying the smooth taste of it running along my innocent taste buds, never tasting such an amazing red wine before. And from the corner of my eye, I thought I saw him smirk.
[Leo's PoV]
I watched as she lifted the glass in between her delicate fingers. Thinking of those dirty thoughts of what those fingers could do to me. As she sipped that dark red wine through her small lips make me think of dirtier thoughts of how enticing her lips would be. I smirked slightly as all those thoughts flushed through my mind and I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard her voice calling out to me. "Mr Kouen? Mr Kouen, are you alright?'' she waved her delicate silky small hands in front of me.
[Luna's PoV]
It's not as planned, but better than it. I smiled to myself as he snapped back to reality. "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry!" I purposefully knocked over his glass and the red wine spilled all over his expensive suit. I smirked at the outcome, pleased with myself. I quickly took the piece of serviette and tried to clean his suit for him, acting all apologetic. I took a peek at his face and saw his laughing to himself. What? Why's he laughing? Is there something on me?
"Hey Miss Luna, do you remember an incident 3 years ago at this same place, Sky Castle cafe?" Mr Kouen looked at me with amusement twinkling in his eyes. I recalled and tried to remember any incident that happened here 3 years ago, when I was still a waitress here at Sky Castle cafe...
{Flashback to 3 years ago at Sky Castle Cafe}
[Luna's PoV]
Today's my first day working here at the most high-class cafe in this city! I must do my best! I encouraged my nervous self before entering the cafe, reporting as a waitress for my first day at work.
"Camilia, start with VVIP seat, Mr Kouen. You can go out now. Luna, you start with VIP seat Mr Eirnas..." My manager called us out one by one and soon it was my turn. Okay, so my first customer would be Mr Eirnas, a VIP seat customer. I composed myself and cleared my throat slightly before heading towards the VIP seats. Mr Eirnas... Ah there you are! I stopped in front of his door and knocked it twice before getting a response to go in. I tapped my card and the door slowly opened, revealing the number of beauties beside him as he comforted each one of them. Ugh I hate this guys the most, but his my first customer. I have to be at my top form and make sure I don't get complained on my first day at work.
I stepped forward bowing and greeting him. "Good morning Mr Eirnas, My name is Miss Luna and I am your waitress for today. I hope you would enjoy my service, thank you. I calmly chimed out the words all us, waitresses had to say to our customers. He made a nasty grin and motioned for me to go nearer. Following the regulations, I had to listen to the customers' commands as they would always be right. So, I shifted a little closer to him. At that moment, he pulled my arm and made me sit on his lap. I sat there uncomfortably and wanted to voice out, but he covered my mouth with his hands. "Don't talk and accompany me to drink." He ordered me, and I picked up the glass and drank the wine. "Good girl. I like good girls, so you would be rewarded. The rest of you get out." He commanded and the rest of the beauties left, with only us left alone.
He placed his hand on my lap and slowly move his hand nearer to the edge of my skirt. "Mr Eirnas, this is not right. You should not be doing this to the employees of Sky Castle. Please do not ruin our reputation and yours." I moved his hand away from my leg and tried fidgeting around to get out of his lap. He was taken aback by my words and roughly snatched my hands, trying to hold me in place. "Mr E-I-R-N-A-S, please do not force me to do something neither of us would like." But he refused to listen to what I had to say. "I said DO NOT CROSS THE LINE!" I elbowed him in his stomach, stood up and slapped his face. "How dare you slap me, you bitc-" He shouted at me holding his stomach in pain. I kicked his most precious part and warned him, "You better not mess with me again, or this will not be the end. And that kick is to warn you not to take us women as your toys to play with." I cleaned my hands on the nearest serviette I saw and left the room, only to see my manager rushing over to me.
"What the hell happened in there?!" She stopped in her tracks and firmly held my shoulders. "A dog just got beaten by some wolves." She turn her head and looked into the room, and saw Mr Eirnas on the ground yapping in pain. She turned towards me and gave me a glare, "Now, go to Mr Kouen's room and help clean up the mess Camilia made there. And DO NOT make it worse. Go now!" I nodded and quickly rushed there.
Turning around the sharp corner, I stopped at the VVIP room with Mr Koeun's name framed in gold at the front off the door. Before I tapped my card, I heard shoutings from inside the room. Oh great. Another dog in there. This day couldn't be any better. I tapped my card and entered and saw a young, tall man with handsome features scolding the young girl, I remembered named Camilia. I shoved him aside and pulled her up from the ground. I looked around the room which was in quite a mess. "What happened here?!" I asked unknowingly using a really strict voice making it sound more like a command than a question.
"Who are you to command me? I'm a VVIP here, how could you treat you customers so poorly. I should go and complain to your manager now." He scoffed at me threatening to tell the manager. "I'll take responsibility then. Camilia, go and help the manager with Mr Eirnas. I'll deal with it here." I tapped her shoulder advising her to get out of the room quickly before things get messy and she got the message, rushing to leave the room. I turned around and it was then I realised that his branded suit was destroyed by a spill of red wine. I cocked my head slightly to check the mess behind him and saw a toppled red wine glass on the table, having signs of spillage. "So... you? You will take responsibility of the damages done to me? Physical and emotionally? Hmm?" He crossed his arms and questioned me with much more of amusement than curiosity.
"Wait, why should I when I don't even know what happened here? How did the wine even get spilled?" I pointed at his wine-soaked suit and walk towards the scene of the "crime". He pulled my arm into his embrace and I turned to look at him, blushing hard. "W-what do you want?" I mumbled. He took out a handkerchief from his pocket and placed it in my palm.
"What were you thinking? I just want you to help me clean it off. You don't have to be so nervous about that." He giggled and let go of my arm. I helped to clean his suit unable to stop myself from blushing from embarrassment and my manager gave him a discount as compensation.
...
"Thank you! I hope to see you soon!" I bowed as his tall image slowly fades into the bright city lights.
{End of flashback}
[Luna's Pov]
"You were that VVIP customer? I-" I paused not knowing what to say. "It's been a long time hasn't it? 3 years have already passed... and you have already forgotten our past." He smiled gently and laughed a little, but for a second I saw disappointment flash in his eyes. "I- I'm sorry" I took my seat and apologised to him. It really has been a long time, hasn't it. It's been 10 years since I last saw Kyle... how is he now...
He saw the sadness in my eyes and that I was lost in thought so, he changed the subject and re-introduced himself. "Leo Kouen, 25 years old, your VVSC. Oh and you can just call me Leo, spare the formalities please, Miss?" He held out his hand and winked at me.
"Luna Hikari, 23 years old... And what's VVSC?" I reached out my hand for his and he pulled back teasing me.
"Your Very Very Special Customer... well Client as for now." He smirked and we shook hands. I couldn't help but laugh too.
Just like 10 years ago... Kyle introduced himself to me just like this too. They should be of around the same age now...
