3. Congrats!! [The End]

Back to the present.....

After he was done with the milk and cookies, it seemed like his nerves were stretched tight or something along those lines as he kept his posture straight and was rhythmically stomping his foot.

He was a nervous wreck...

Jimmin didn't want to be the one to speak first as Junggkook had told him back then that, he wants to be the one doing it but he couldn't let him continue like this...or he will have a nervous breakdown.

This situation reminded Jimmin of the lyrics of a song they both had covered,

Jimmin broke the awkward air between them and started with neutral topics, "How were your studies?"

"eh? ah...It was fine", Junggkook was really out of it.

If this music-maniac was unable to speak up on his favourite topic, you can guess how nervous he must be!!

Jimmin sighed inside....

"hmmm.....did you miss me?", Jimmin trying to relax his nerves fluttered his eyes and winked at him. He looked really cute.

He was trying to joke around but--

"A lot...I missed you a lot!" Junggkook replied in a breath, his face very serious.

Jimmin who was trying to ease the tension: "....." His whole face was flushed pink.

It seems watching that cute reaction, finally eased Junggkook's nerves a bit as he smiled back and finally asked, "How are you?"

"hmmm....I'm fine...I'm fine and doing well...hahahahaha" Now it was Jimmin's time to get flustered, his hands were flailing and he was flushed till his nape, it gave him an alluring look.

Junggkook who was looking at the flustered man almost lost his control, the man was just too ignorant of his allure.

It took his all to stop himself from going up to him and embrace him once more, he wanted everything to follow the order.

He can't let his emotions get the better of himself, so, he just froze on spot.

Jimmin cursed himself under his breath for such embarrassing actions and took a deep breath to take control of his feelings.

He slowly opened up as he saw Junggkook had become a statue again, "umm....it's not getting anywhere..."

Junggkook jerked up a bit but before he could speak Jimmin cut him off--

"Since when?"

"Ah?" Junggkook didn't get what he meant until he saw his flushed face which had become so red that, it felt like blood would seep out from it any moment now.

"I don't know", he started.

"What do you mean by you don't know?" Jimmin got agitated for a reason even he was not sure of...maybe he was still scared that this was all a dream and Junggkook didn't like him that way.

Junggkook just smiled at his reaction.

He somehow knew what Jimmin was thinking and finally decided to confess everything.

He got up from his seat and went to his side, he sat on the chair beside him and cradled him up into his lap and hugged him, "Listen to me ah!"

Jimmmin who just went with the flow and was now too embarrassed to meet see him in the eyes: "..."

"You see, I don't know because I think it was always like this....I've liked you all this while, though my feelings haven't changed no- I think they have grown deeper but I think the meaning behind the words has changed a little...First I thought of you as a kind 'hyung' who cared for everyone and kept smiling no matter what, you were like our support pillar, you were always there for us and comforted us but then gradually the respect I felt for you changed into something else....that day when I saw you cry for the first time, I felt my heart was being stabbed, I didn't like that feeling a bit--"

"I didn't cry", Jimmin immediately retorted while scolding himself in his head, ' When did he saw you crying, you dunce...ahh!! So embarrassing.."

Junggkook ignored him, "That time when you were threatened, believe me, I saw red, it took all in me to control my temper and that was when I decided.."

Jimmin was genuinely shocked from this because he thought that he had hidden it well, but he was able to see that his discomfort and not just him but maybe the rest of the members too saw it, his heart warmed up and smile surfaced on his face till his eyes became crescents....he was just too Happy to have met him, to have met them!!

Watching that smile, the stern gaze Junggkook had receded by a lot. He put a soft kiss on Jimin's soft hair before continuing, " So well, one thing led to another and before I knew it all I wanted was to protect you. I decided that the next time around, it will be me who will comfort you and will be by your side when you need me. I won't let you cry anymore and even if you do cry I'll be there to wipe it and make you smile.....Jimmin-ssi...." he moved the man to see him in the eyes.

Ba-thump Ba-thump Ba-thump

"hm?"

"Jimmin-ssi, naneun neoleul joh-ahae, neoleul saranghae [I like you, I love you.] Please be mine..."

Junggkook had a straight face but his heartbeat was a mess and his ears had turned red giving him away.

Jimmin teared up while grinning from ear to ear, "So Cute. Junggukkie is mine!! So..." he dramatically took a long paused, ".. I don't mind being yours too...and I Love You too...hehehe"

Hearing the words he had wanted to forever, Junggkook teared up as well and hugged him..."I'll take care of you forever...forever"

"hm"

They forgot the TPO and sat in that position for a long while as if, confirming that the other was genuinely there or maybe it was the compensation for their time away....

Anyway their temperature rose up as their frantic heartbeat became messier...

Junggkook took Jimmin's face in his palms and pulled him closer to his face...

They were inches apart and could feel the other's breath over their face, just a cm apart and they closed their eyes....

Their lips almost met when--

CLINK CLINK CLINK

The door to the cafe was pushed open and 5 figures came in....

Jimmin pushed himself up with the speed of a ninja and got away from Junggkook, he was clearly flustered but he still held onto his bearings and said, "Okaerinasaimase-- " before he could finish he heard them speak almost simultaneously..

Ho-seokk: Jimminnnie, we came to play!!

Jiin: Ah! Junggkook is here!

Tae-hyuung: I want a strawberry milkshake! Ah! Junggkook!!

Yoon-ggi: Iced coffee. Ah~ so tired.

Nam-joonie: Jimmin, give me a cup of coffee.

The five of them strode in without a care of the world, as if, they didn't just destroy a sensible moment...Well, they didn't know so, they couldn't be convicted....

Junggkook's lips kept twitching but he still gave a smile and hugged each of them back

"Hyung, I'm back"

It was Tae-hyuung who noticed it first, "Jimmin, why are you so red?"

He had an innocent face but then his bulb went on...

"Ah!!" They all said in unison as they realised the same thing....then they looked back and forth between the two each with their own thinking...

Both of them instinctively knew that the Cat got out.

Jimmin was flustered but didn't know how to explain or from where to start plus he was genuinely scared of their reaction, when he felt a warm hand over his own, he whipped his head to the side and saw Junggkook looking his way as he gave him a comforting smile...

Jimmin somehow relaxed..

Yoon-ggi: tsk...give me my Iced coffee...and stop with that PDA

Ho-seokk: He finally told you...haaah...Junggkookie congrats.

Tae-hyuung: Stop with the PDA in front of us single dogs!!( He jumped on to them strangling their bodies as the three of them literally fell back)

Jiin: Congrats !! Should I prepare noodles or would you like sekihan?

Nam-joonie: All's well that ends well...

Jimmin was shocked by these reactions and had a dumb expression as he pushed Tae-hyuung off of him...

As if to answer his unsaid question, Tae-hyuung took it upon himself to enlighten him..

"haah~ remember that time that Junggkook was yours? After that this guy came to us and came out infront of us, he said that he will be pursuing you and warned us not to say anything weird...so, we all knew about it and the way you both act in front of us, it's not that hard to tell anyway."

Yoongii again 'tsk'ed.

"Junggukkie?"

Junggkook hugged him and gave a light kiss on his forehead, "Didn't I say that I won't let you be sad?"

He smiled, he smiled back and the rest shook their head at this free sale of dog-food...

And this is the end of their story or maybe, this is their true beginning!!
