Enlighten me, my Lord

Vincent was totally shocked when Sophie mentioned the bombing attempt during the EDEM night event. He's the current Lord of the City N but he didn't know about it! Sophie noticed the bewildered expression of her brother and that gave her goosebumps.

"How did you know about it?"

Vincent voice lost any sense of doting or warmth, leaving only 100% seriousness and coldness. For Lord missing a big news is totally disgraceful, and in case the explosion did happened - a major lost with high body count with him included!

Sophie told him about his team infiltrated the event as staff as a contingency plan. When they did a clean check, they found two explosive devices, disarmed it and took it with them.

"You still have it?"

"The bomb? Yes."

"Gave that to me. I'll deal it for you."

"Sure, but promise me to be careful. They managed to bypass you the mighty Lord and EDEM securities."

The concern is real. To be able to do something behind the Lord and kept silent of it was totally remarkable. That just meant that the evildoer hug a strong thighs!

'Stronger than my brother thighs! Damn it!'

Vincent ruffled his sister hairs with a clear doting in his eyes.

"But you seem to be forgetting something, my dearest sister."

"Do enlighten me, my Lord?

"I'm the Black Tortoise, Underworld Lord of City N. Not Lord of City W."

Sophie gave herself a facepalm. She forgot! She discussed this with wrong person! But then something struck to her which she then let out a smirk and look at Vincent with full of mischievous.

"What is it?"

"Nothing. I just remembered something."

"From your look, I doubted it going to be anything good."

"It is. You should trust your dearest sister."

"I do. So, mind sharing what evil plan are you cooking now?"

"Well, if you must know…."

"Which I don't but you insisted."

"Hush, it will be something good for you."

"Fine, what is it. Come, tell me."

"I just thought that you could use this issue to get help from my future sister-in-law, the Lady Lord of City W."

"You knew about her too?!!!"
