4 Going all out

Itachi Uchiha was a person who valued his brother's life more than anything in this world. Itachi could bear killing his own father; Itachi could bear killing his own mother; Itachi could even bear killing hundreds of clan members. But there is one thing that he could never bear, and that is killing his own brother. However, now, this Uchiha Kai had made him kill his own brother with his own hands. The resentment and hatred that now gripped Itachi's heart towards Uchiha Kai had surged to a relentless crescendo, an all-consuming tempest of anguish and fury.

In the original story, Itachi was conserving his eye power to transplant his eyes to his brother and awaken Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. But now, Itachi had no need to conserve his eye power. Itachi was a person who had nothing left to lose, and these are the kind of people that are the most dangerous. Now, Itachi was ready to go to any length to kill Uchiha Kai and wipe out this evil Uchiha clan. So, Itachi's monstrous red Susanoo began to rise.

The ground trembled beneath the Uchiha compound as a shadowy figure began to materialize. A ghostly aura enveloped Itachi, swirling around him as the colossal form of Susanoo took shape. The air distorted around its colossal frame, and the very atmosphere seemed to acknowledge the arrival of this powerful guardian.

Susanoo, with its skeletal visage and armor reminiscent of traditional Japanese samurai, rose majestically, towering over the battlefield. Its eyes glowed with the same crimson intensity as Itachi's Mangekyou Sharingan, reflecting the sheer power and ferocity that dwelled within.

The ghostly entity wielded an enormous, curved sword that gleamed ominously in the moonlight. Each movement of Susanoo echoed with a sense of impending doom, as if the very fabric of reality itself responded to its existence. The colossal figure radiated an aura of both menace and protection, encapsulating the duality of its nature as a guardian and a harbinger of destruction.

As Susanoo stood tall, its otherworldly presence cast a shadow that seemed to stretch across the Uchiha compound, symbolizing the weight of the decisions and consequences that accompanied its appearance. The eyes of the Uchiha clan members widened in awe and fear as they beheld the might of Susanoo, a testament to Itachi's formidable strength.

Itachi then directly manipulated Susanoo and slashed its sword towards Uchiha Kai. During this time, even though Itachi was extremely angry, he was still able to maintain a calculative mind. He had once fallen to the illusion of Uchiha Kai and killed his own brother. So, this time Itachi was really cautious of Genjutsu attacks from Uchiha Kai. Itachi also made sure not to look into Uchiha Kai's eyes. As a Genjutsu genius, Itachi knew how to resist Genjutsus.

But little did Itachi know that once a person had seen the Shikai release of Kyoka Suigetsu, that person would be stuck in the illusion of Kyokka Suigetsu for the rest of his life. The only way to get rid of this illusion is either Uchiha Kai releases the illusion himself or Itachi touches the Kyoka Suigetsu. But Uchiha Kai will never let both of those things happen.

In Uchiha Itachi's eyes, just as his Susanoo raised its sword for the killing blow, the ground trembled. From the very earth itself, a shadow rose to meet the red giant. This was a creature of bone and armor, a swirling vortex of inky darkness, coalescing into a humanoid form draped in billowing shadows. It held no weapons, yet emanated an aura of power no less intense than Itachi's. This was Uchiha Kai's Susanoo, as dark and enigmatic as its master.

The two colossal figures clashed in a whirlwind of ebony and crimson. Sparks flew as Yata-mirrors met Susanoo's blades, parrying blows that shook the very foundations of the Uchiha compound. The Totsuka-no-Tsurugi, blade of eternal slumber, danced against the swirling darkness; their clash threatened to unravel the fabric of reality itself.

For a moment, the battle raged, a symphony of destruction played out under the indifferent gaze of the moon. But as the fight intensified, the perspective shifted. The world blurred, and suddenly, the scene unfolded through Kai's own eyes.

In the eyes of Uchiha Kai and the rest of the people, they only saw Uchiha Itachi activating his Susanoo, and then, just like the masked man before, Itachi Uchiha also started to run toward the outer gates of the Uchiha clan while fighting against empty air. Seeing this scene, most of the Uchiha people felt glad and thankful towards Uchiha Kai, who had just saved them from this psychopath Itachi. But they also felt a sense of terror. This was not because of Itachi, but because of their self-proclaimed new patriarch, Uchiha Kai. They had just witnessed two people who had awakened Mangekyo Sharingan played like a stupid puppet in front of Uchiha Kai. They didn't want to imagine how strong this illusion ability of Uchiha Kai is, to actually pull this off. What terrified them the most was when Kai faced Itachi; he never even moved a single muscle and just stood there. Itachi, who even opened the Susanoo, wasn't able to do anything to him. And now, Itachi is just running to the outer gates of the Uchiha clan like a clown. They all inevitably looked at Uchiha Kai and saw his still active cross-shaped Mangekyo Sharingan. When Uchiha Kai proclaimed himself as a patriarch, some people were still dissatisfied. But now, after witnessing the terrifying feat of defeating a Susanoo without moving a muscle, they also became satisfied with Uchiha Kai.

But none of the people in the Uchiha clan doubted that the Mangekyo Sharingan that they saw in Uchiha Kai's eyes is fake. Because in their opinion, such a strong illusion can only be cast by Mangekyo Sharingan. But only Uchiha Kai knows that he had never awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan, and in his opinion, he will never be able to awaken it in the natural way. Because possessing Kyokka Suigetsu is like having a natural cheat, and everything will just go according to the way he wants. So for such a person, it will be impossible to have a traumatizing experience that will lead to the awakening of the Mangekyo Sharingan.

Uchiha Kai also understood the reason why Aizen never used this power on Ichigo, because once a person sees this Kyokka Suigetsu, then the fight is already over, and this will never allow the user of Kyokka Suigetsu to have a hard battle ever. But Uchiha Kai wasn't worried about not getting Mangekyo Sharingan because his goal was to get the chakra fruit. Not only will it make his life force increase tremendously, but it will also make him awaken the Rinnegan. Just when Kai was still in his thoughts, he heard the voice of his clansman.

Seeing the fleeing back of Itachi, Uchiha Hazuki felt a little uncomfortable and he spoke: "Patriarch Kai, are you just gonna let this rebellious Itachi go just like this?" Uchiha Kuro also spoke: "Hazuki is right, Patriarch, we can't just let this Itachi go like this."

Uchiha Kai looked at both of them and said in a calm tone: "You two have been with me for more than 6 years; do you really think I am such a soft person that will let a psycho like Itachi get away?" Both Uchiha Kuro and Hazuki were the most loyal followers of Uchiha Kai, and they both knew the evil and sinister nature of Uchiha Kai. So they understood that Uchiha Kai had something big planned for Uchiha Itachi. Uchiha Kai then continued speaking: "The main culprit who planned the genocide of our Uchiha clan is not Itachi nor that guy claiming to be Madara. It is the higher-ups of Konoha. They dispatched both Root ninja and also Anbu ninja to make sure none of us will be alive, so I want to return the favor back to them." After saying this, there was a sinister smirk on Uchiha Kai's face. The rest of the people also understood what Uchiha Kai was going to do now.
