13 walking dead 13

when the vehicles were full they loaded me in one of them and headed to what i can only assume to be their base.

the journey was not a smooth sailing, my jailers had a hard time meeting a few groups of zombies but they took them out with practiced ease.

i was really impressed by their team work and efficiency, i guess that hardships take the best out of people.

and after a hour or two we made it to a blockade made out of cars on top of one another, with a metal gate in the middle of the road which opened a little and a few survivors went out to kill the scattered zombies in front of the gate.

and as the vehicles made it to the gate, it was wide open and the zombies already at the side of the road blazing with flames.

once again i was shocked at the strength of this survivor group, i thought that they would be some weak ass bitches that would hold me back, but from what i have seen right now, they were all but weak, they were organized, trained and experienced.

i had nothing to say about them, they gave the vibe of a growing army or more like a militia, i think that i may have found another opportunity to strengthen myself before leaving this world which i came to believe it to be a preparatory one.

i don't know if it is the work of the one who sent me here or if this world is different from what the novel portrayed, but this first mission is definitely one where one can train himself for the upcoming dangers ahead of the players, and point mine too.

and as i was having my mental monologue my captors reached a building where they dropped the captain, Alexa and i and then they continued on to where ever they where meant to be.

the captain which came to now was named john and Alexa led me to this building, it was a six story building that previously belonged to the police, they probably used it as a headquarter or a prison maybe even both, at least now we know where they got those guns from.

they led me into the building and put handcuffs on me instead of the rope they used before and put in a generic interrogation room with smoke glass and inter phone and left me there for a few minutes,

and as minutes pass no one came for me but i was sure some smart ass was looking at me from the

glass waiting for me to loose patience, the fuc--kers were really wrong about me on this point though.

after all i spent a long time doing hellish training alone with no human contact surrounded by zombies and eating crap food, if we are talking about patience and iron will, no one in this base can match me, after all i didn't loose my mind or start speaking to myself and objects.

so as there was nothing to do i got comfy on the chair, put my hands on the table, rested my head on top of them and drifted to dream land.

POV CHANGE (not mc)

my name is hank Sheperd i am lieutenant of the fifth division police department, my partner joana and i were on a patrol when all hell broke loose.

one of the civilians was walking normally, and then suddenly he attacked the person in front of him by biting him on the neck, and worse he continued feeding on him.

at first i was shocked as was my partner, but training kicked in and we quickly stopped the car and went off to stop this psychopath before things got worse and worse they did become.

after the first attack more followed, so i called the base, but all that came in was static and screams, i didn't know what to do, this was above what i was trained for, in the academy they didn't teach us how to deal with this kind of fu-ck-ed up stuff, and i was scared so i hit the pedal and run.

on the way i picked a duo of mother and daughter, and went for a safe place, once there i was able to relax and think more about the situation, and that's when guilt hit me, i was a police officer my duty was to help those people that died because of me, because I!! was afraid so i decided to go and help as much people as i can with my partner.

and so our base become much too small for our growing group as we save more and more, so we decided to expend it, we trained the people that followed us and armed them to face the threat, it was the right thing to do.

but as our group grew we were faced with much more problems, and so we had to find solution, one thing led to another and we made a safe place for us around the police station where i used to work, and we could survive until now.

in the time here i was crowned as the leader, and i was met with objections and betrayals here and there, but overcoming those helped me get stronger and consolidate the strength of our group as well as my hold over them.

it has been quite a few weeks since we spotted any living being in the neighborhood but that changed when one of the teams responsible for salvaging supplied from outside brought one guy.

he was a tall and strong guy; judging from his build and the way he held himself, he was put in the interrogation room so that we can study him a little and wear his mental defenses down, this was a strategy adopted way before this shit happened and it always worked, but this guy was an anomaly.

usually when one was held captive he would show some signs like anxiety, anger, arrogance, fright and such but this guy was just calm, and somehow confident, like he is in some trip enjoying himself.

after a few minutes the guy just went to sleep, i thought it to be a bluff so i gave him time to show his true colors, but this guy was really fu-ck-ing sleeping with no care in the world and that too with a smirk on his face, this guy was really something, he was either smart, crazy or just plain stupid; an idiot, he really picked my interest.
